House Sitting in Big Bear Lake

Wow where do I start?! We took an 11 day trip out of town and needed a very last minute house and dog sitter. I will admit that I was nervous to have anyone outside of our family dog sit for our 2 big girls as we have a pretty specific routine for them and they take some warming up to before being “themselves”. Mariah was gracious enough to come to our home to do 2 meet and greets before we committed. Mariah had a very calm energy about her and the dogs took to her very well. She is extremely patient, trustworthy and completely went above and beyond of our expectations. As someone who considers my dogs family it was important to have someone like her around to watch them. This was the longest we were away from our pups and we could not have been happier with the way she handled them. I will definitely be requesting Mariah again!!!!

We were lucky enough to have Tamanda house sit for us again. She is one of the most honest people I have ever met. Most importantly she took of my babies like they were her own. And once again, my house was exactly as I left it. She honestly took care of everything as if I were doing it myself. Not having to worry about my pets or my home made my trip absolutely stress free. Thank you so much Tamanda! Take care!

Elizabeth took great care my typically difficult dog and gave him lots of exercise and adventures! He had a great time and had his own fun vacation while I was away!

Soooo-I didn’t see the “1 billion star” rating so 5 will have to do… What can I say about Lainey?? When she first got to my place she was so excited to meet my pups! She greeted them with open and loving arms and they instantly fell in love with her (both are rescues and really skiddish at first). Elaine was attentive and asked all the right questions to ensure she was going to care for them the way I do- which is super important. She wanted to know about my dogs as well as me as their mom- which I loved. Elaine is like a friend you haven’t seen in years- I just connected right away with her. Our meet and greet went amazing, and I felt so confident leaving my boys with her while I was gone. She texted me updates and pics to further ease my mind, which I totally appreciated. I highly recommend Lainey to watch your fur baby! **UPDATE** I was in a pinch and needed someone to pick up my pups from daycare and stay with them until I got home (really late). I texted Lainey one day prior, and she responded promptly and agreed she would be able to help us out! She was leaving for vacation the next day- and took the time out of her day to help me out- I mean…come on, right!? So thankful! Some people just come into your (and your dogs’) life for a reason??

I'd like to give Sarah zero stars... but only so I could selfishly keep her to myself! :) She is absolutely amazing, and takes pet and home care to the next level! I have two dogs, one of which (BATMAN!) is a seizure dog. Truthfully, I can tell pretty quickly if he has been off his meds - which he takes FOUR times a day. It was absolutely obvious that he'd recieved his med, and that he was comfortable with Sarah. Prior to the stay, she also took the time to ask the right questions, find out our routine, and do a home visit at no charge. LOVE it! Can't say enough good things! (but if I travelled a lot more... well I might be selfish! ;) ) Thank you Sarah for the love and dedication you show my babies; Batman and King! Will absolutely be in touch for the next trip!

Nicole was wonderful and treated my fur kiddos with love! I have never left them over night before and Nicole kept me in the loop on everything happening with my babies and helped me to know they were in good hands! She sent pictures of all 4 of my animals and it showed she really paid attention to them! I am so grateful for Nicole and will definitely end up using her again! I am very pleased with her service!

Sarah is an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. We instantly felt comfortable with her and knew our pups were in good hands when we met her a couple of weeks before our trip. She took the time to do a meet and greet and quickly developed a rapport with us and both of our dogs. It’s obvious from her interacting with our dogs that she loves animals. She followed all of our instructions and quickly returned texts when I checked in. We requested that she plug in the dog cam when she was away so we could check in on our pups and she did. She even laundered her bedding, which certainly wasn’t expected. Our dogs were happy while we were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah. If she’s available to watch your pets, you’re lucky! ☺️

Amazing! Best pet-sitter we’ve had. Our animals loved her immediately, and we felt great about leaving them with her. She is highly experienced, knowledgeable about cats and dogs, and took incredible care with them. She asked thoughtful questions and was really communicative— with details and photos while we were away. We will definitely use her services again.
