Dog Boarding in Castroville

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Marta! She watched our dog, Piper, over a long weekend while we were out of town, and from the very beginning we knew Piper was in great hands. Not only did Marta take wonderful care of Piper while we were away, but she also went above and beyond by picking her up and dropping her off, which made the whole process incredibly convenient and stress-free for us. Marta communicated with us throughout the weekend, sending the sweetest updates and photos so we always knew how Piper was doing. Seeing Piper looking relaxed, happy, and clearly loved gave us so much peace of mind. What really stood out to us is how thoughtful and attentive Marta is. She truly took the time to understand Piper’s routine, her personality, and what makes her feel comfortable. Piper can be a little shy at first, but she warmed up to Marta so quickly — a sign of how gentle and caring Marta is. It was clear that Marta wasn’t just watching Piper, she was genuinely caring for her. When we came home, Piper was calm, content, and her usual happy self. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust so completely. Marta is reliable, kind, professional, and clearly has a natural way with animals. We will absolutely be booking with her again. The girls had a wonderful stay! Bridget sent lots of updates and photos of all their adventures with their new best friends. Her pup is the sweetest, and they all became fast friends. They got lots of walks and love 💕 They look forward to staying with Bridget again!

Excellent dog sitting. A great place and a great family that took care of my old dogs. Really appreciate all of the updates and the enthusiasm of the kids. Will certainly be high on the list next time I go out of town.

Stasha was great! This was our first time leaving Copper, and as a first-time dog mom, I was definitely a little nervous and probably texted her a million times too many lol but she was so kind and patient with all my questions and kept me updated with the sweetest photos and videos. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was safe, and playing and being loved on, and even snuggled up with her at night! We’d absolutely use her services again in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby! 🐾💛

Sarah and her family were wonderful! Saffie immediately felt right at home. Very nice comfortable home for her. It was great to receive photos from them of Saffie with their kids. Made us smile.

Marion provides our pup Max a home away from home. We are so grateful to her for her kindness and warmth for our guy. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Grace and Claudio were amazing sitters for my puppy Bruno! They were both very fast with their communication and gave plenty of updates, with pictures as well. This was the first time my puppy has been with a sitter, and Grace and Claudio gave me plenty of reassurance that he was having fun and was being well taken care of! I appreciate their availability as it was last minute, but with open arms they welcomed Bruno into their home.

Jennifer was wonderful. My family planned a last minute trip to leave town and I reached out to Jennifer. We met prior to drop off and her calming demeanor made it easy to make the decision of leaving Luna in her care. Jennifer was great, sending pictures and updates. She was also quick in responding. I will definitely contact Jennifer for future boarding. Super happy!

Ida was absolutely lovely to communicate with and Ducky loved her. She was great with our dog and really saved us in a pinch. Next time we find ourselves in town and in need of a buddy for Ducky, we know who to call! ❤️

Entrusting our beloved dog takes a lot of faith with a new person. Nicole exceeded our expectations. Her communication is stellar and she is more than willing to have a meet and greet. Her home is lovely, clean with a fenced backyard. Our "Walter" was well looked after. He happily burrowed under a blanket, on the couch, and perched by the window to people watch. The neighborhood is safe and very convenient for us. I can see why she has a steady clientele. I highly recommend her!

Chris went above and beyond when she cared for my 6 month old pup Harper. I was just visiting the area for one night and couldn't have the dog where I was staying. I was nervous to leave her but she instantly felt at home with Chris and her lovely pups. Chris is a vet tech and so wonderful with animals so I knew Harper was in great hands. She went above and beyond, taking her to the beach the next day and even capturing photos of my pup playing in the sand. I only wish I lived closer so we could use Chris often!

Nicole was an absolutely great fit for my sensitive pitbull Buster. She was so patient with his unique mannerisms. She communicated well and checked in with any questions about Buster, and handled giving him his medication. I got pictures of him having a great time. He was very well taken care of, and was more relaxed than I expected. I would 100% book with Nicole again.

Our dogs always loving staying with this family! They always come back clean and rested. We really enjoy the daily updates with pictures. If you are looking for a loving and trustworthy place for your dog to stay, we definitely recommend this family!

JD took good care of King for 6 days ..he provided timely updates and also shared many pictures everyday ..we were very grateful to know that our King was in good hands ..JD also taught King new social skills .. JD was very prompt in his communication and the overall experience was very smooth ..thank you

Citlali was great at looking after our dog Parker. She was kind to send us a photo of Parker and a message to make sure he was well. That was considerate of her. Also she has a very cute cat who played with our Parker during the stay. She is a wonderful sitter.

Kelly went out of her way to accommodate me and Huey. She kept me informed and provided pictures related to Huey’s day with her. I never had any worries and Huey came home a happy camper. I look forward to scheduling with Kelly again soon.

Rona provided updates and photos everyday of his stay, which I appreciated very much. Carlos was nervous at first but Rona made him feel at home and gave him lots of attention which he loves. I would use Rona’s services again.
