Dog Boarding in Citrus Heights

Victoria provided excellent care and fun for my pup. When some unexpected issues occurred with my dog she called me and even went to the store to obtain the appropriate supplies to remedy the situation. My pup returns home happy and tired as she kept my dog active. Will continue to use Victoria's great pet sitting service.

This feedback is for two reasons. First, I want to express my immense gratitude to Gregory for saving us during a very stressful moment. Our original sitter canceled the booking just two days before we were scheduled to drop off our dog. We found out after 5 PM on a Friday, which was incredibly stressful and frustrating, though we understand that unforeseen situations can occur. What was particularly upsetting was that when I searched for a new sitter, the fees were significantly higher due to the short notice. I reached out to Rover support and was disappointed to learn that there is no real contingency plan for last-minute sitter cancellations. A sitter's trustworthiness and reliability are paramount to building the company's reputation. This is why Gregory was such a blessing. He is a true asset to Rover. He took exceptional care of our German Shepherd for an entire week. He provided daily walks, ensured our dog ate on time, dedicated time for play, and made sure he had plenty of rest. We are so grateful for his professionalism and care. He is highly recommendable, and we will definitely be requesting his services again.

Lucky's Little Pooch Lodge aka/ Tamara and Lucky have the best vacation location for our Lily! She gets to visit with others on Vacation, she gets to roam and explore the grounds and be watched over when needed for food, meds and anything else that might happen. She comes home happy and tired, which must be a sign of an adventurous time on vacation. I can't praise these two enough for when your pup needs some time away.

Our dog Juno has stayed with them three times so far, and each time, he’s been so excited to go back — wagging his tail the moment we pull up to their place. Juno is a super friendly golden retriever who loves people, and it’s such a relief knowing there’s always someone home to keep him company. He also gets along really well with other dogs, and their home is perfect for him — a spacious yard and even a pool that helps him cool off and stay active! They send regular photo updates, and Juno always looks relaxed and happy in them. It’s clear he’s well cared for and having a great time. Plus, Derek and Leslie are quick to respond to any questions during his stay, which gives us great peace of mind. Can’t recommend them enough!

Nancy was awesome -- she took such good care of Angie! And I really appreciated the regular updates on all the fun they were having together. I would rebook with Nancy without any hesitation.

It was so nice to not have to worry about Louie while we were on our trip! Kelsea was great!!

Mia had an amazing time staying with Chong and her family! Chong sent me updates and pictures everyday to let me know how Mia was acclimating to her, her husband, and Gus. It seemed like she was really happy during her stay, so much so that I was a little worried she wouldn't want to come back home!!! lol Chong was also able to accommodate a last minute extension because of travel delays on our part, which took a lot of stress off of us.

Our mini golden doodle looked so happy in the care of Byron’s household. She was in the company of other small gentle dogs, she got to be cozy inside and let out regularly to a nice clean yard with the couple other dogs. We received updates and Byron was very nice and easy to communicate with. We are so glad we found his service and will be so happy to be back next time!

Morgan watched Waffle on short notice and did an amazing job as usual. So dependable and reliable. Always appreciate her.

This was our first time booking with Galady but it won’t be our last. By the pictures and how sad Tacoma was upon her return I know she was well loved and taken care of. Don’t look anywhere else, book her if you can.

We feel so lucky to have found Erin and Devin! We left our two dogs with them for a week while traveling. Right off the bat I could tell they were dog people :-) Over the week we received photo updates and felt at peace knowing our boys were well cared for. They swam, went on walks, played fetch. A doggy retreat! They came home happy and tired. We are so excited to have found someone to love on our dogs while we’re away and are looking forward to bringing them back!

Coco had a great overnight stay with Haley. Haley has great energy, is very experienced and was accommodating with schedule change for pick up. I would gladly rebook with Haley for future stays.

Adrienne was a friendly and a great communicator, and her home was clean and welcoming. She understood that our timid dog needed some time to warm up, and was very patient with her, even allowing us to do a meet-and-greet before our scheduled boarding. We would gladly use her again!

Leaving our dog Oliver with Nadya and her family is such an amazing experience! He gets so excited to see them all and is treated like royalty with extra long walks multiple times a day, lots of updates and such kindness! He ran right up to her during drop off and knew he was going on lots of adventures. We travel for work occasionally and being able to trust Nadya to be reliable and responsible is such a blessing! Highly recommended!

Kendra was amazing!! She was very happy to accommodate some of our requests to help our puppy stay safe such as putting her in her crate we left when she was gone and also keep the trash cans put away ! She was quick in responding to texts about how Lucy was doing and send great photos ! She was understanding of her energy level being an 11 month old puppy ! She was very kind and you could tell she loved dogs! Don’t hesitate to book with her , your dog will be loved and feel right at home . We will definitely be rebooking the next time we are in Sacramento.

This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience. Mary was excellent! My 10 year old lab was excited to stay with Mary and yet he came home happy and tired from the appropriate amount of walks/playtime/and just "fun". I am thrilled that this stay was so great. Mary was excellent and we will definitely be back "visiting" soon!

Leslie took great care of Cooper. He needs extra care and Leslie is so warm and comforting to him. We always know he’s well taken care of when he stays with her.❤️

Olesia is the absolute BEST! She took great care of our little cat Grace and seems to have a fantastic intuition of their needs and wants. My wife and I will definitely be using her again in the future and recommend everyone else do the same. Thank you Olesia!

Julia is absolutely wonderful! She took care of Cooper, even though he injured his food a few days before. She is super careful about keeping food separate, ensuring that there is no allergy issues or cross contamination. Everywhere you look there are double doors to keep the dogs from escaping. She let Cooper hang out on the couch with her family and even read stories to him. I will absolutely be booking with Julia again.
