Mimi is the best! She’s watched Kami, our 10 year old Shiba twice now, and she absolutely feels right at home. She and her husband Wilson totally get her quirky Shiba personality and take her out to do fun things and meet new people. Mimi sends detailed daily updates which gives us such peace of mind while we’re away. It’s so clear they genuinely enjoy spending time with her! We love working with Mimi - she’s reliable, caring, and just awesome with dogs. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing sitter!

I was forced to look for a pet sitter at the last minute before my vacation and happened upon Rover.com. After reviewing several sitter options I decided to reach out to Allison. Allison was very prompt responding to my inquiry and subsequent email communications. She asked a lot of questions about Santana's needs which gave me the impression she would be very caring. Allison (and Moses) met my daughter and Santana at the dog park to ensure he would be comfortable with a larger dog. My daughter said Allison is like the Dog Whisperer because Santana didn't bark or growl at her as he usually does with strangers. All went well and Santana spent 10 days with Allison, her husband, and Moses (his new BFF). Allison posted pictures of Santana and sent emails letting us know how he was doing during his stay. It definitely put me at ease knowing that he was well cared for in a loving home. Allison has the sweetest disposition and shows a genuine and sincere affinity for the pets left in her care. I wouldn't hesitate to leave Santana with Allison again and I highly recommend her services. She and her husband took excellent care of my little guy.

Marie is incredible! I got so many pics and vids it was amusing and heart warming, but my favorite was of my frenchie in full recline getting a relaxing shoulder rub at bedtime. There a few in the world who so naturally fall in as fur-baby family, and Marie is one of them. I always feel bad leaving my dog, but now I can tell her we are going to the dog spa;) timely communications and all the other good stuff too.

Our pup loves staying with Renee & Christopher! We love their regular updates and are always comforted knowing our pup is staying in a fun, dog-loving home while we’re away!

Alvin was, in a word, wonderful. This was our first time using Rover, and we were naturally a little anxious, but Alvin and his family made the entire experience perfect. They sent regular updates and photos, and our dog, Doc, looked so happy and relaxed playing with their sweet dog, Sterling. They were so kind and attentive—his wife was lovely to our son at drop-off, and they even trimmed the hair around Doc's eyes for us (with permission, of course!). It's their attention to detail and genuine care that sets them apart. If you're a pet owner with anxiety about leaving your dog for the first time, this is your person. Doc felt right at home, and my heart was full knowing he was in such good hands. We immediately booked him again!

She communicated regularly from start to finish and made me feel confident that my dog was in good hands.

Boba had an amazing time! They took him out to a lot of different places, and he socialized with other dogs. I’ll definitely be coming back as regular for my future trips :)

Drew was absolutely AMAZING with our sweet pup, Daisy. She sent us thoughtful updates and pictures/videos and made sure our dog was well cared for while we were away. Daisy loves Drew and had such a wonderful time in her home. Thank you Drew!!! We hope to book with you again in the future. ❤️

Chengyang did such a great job taking care of Maya, who is a big dog with lots of energy. She was very diligent about exercising Maya and keeping me updated throughout the stay. Maya's reactivity was very minimal after picking her up, which tells me it was a good, stress free stay. Thanks Chengyang!

Wei did a great job taking care of our French bulldog. Wei was always quick to respond to any questions and very professional through the whole process. I would highly recommend Wei.

FANTASTIC!! I was a bit nervous before as I had never left Dexter with Diego. Dexter had a fantastic time. At the beach for hours, loved Diego's dog and I will definitely have Diego watch Dexter in the future. Thank you Diego.

Cristina & Ernesto were great dog sitters for a multi-day stay for our pup Lima. They were very responsive, flexible, and integrated Lima into their lives, bringing her along and including her. We received updates during the stay and Lima was happy upon pick up. Our pup looks forward to future stays with Cristina & Ernesto. 😊🐾

Julley took such great care of Roman! He came home tired and clearly had a great time. I really appreciated the updates and how comfortable she made him feel. Highly recommend!

Yvonne took great care of Katsu while my husband and I were away for Memorial Day weekend. She was also very understanding when our flight back was delayed. She sent several photos to me during his stay which I always appreciated.

At Sams’s suggestion we tried an 24-hour stay for Ronny in advance of an upcoming week-long trip. I am so glad we did that, as I needed to retrieve Ronny early! Ronny is 6-months old, and unfortunately he wanted to puppy play – all the time – with the older resident dog (9), who started patiently but clearly didn’t want any puppy nonsense. After about 30-40 minutes watching their interaction, I left Sam's house feeling OK about the overnight stay, thinking all would be well after Ronny had settled down a little. However, I heard later that the more Ronny was rejected, the more he tried, resorting to barking in the older dog’s face. Poor Sam had to separate the two dogs in different rooms to get any peace, but Ronny was agitated overnight, possibly confused about the other dog and still wanting to play. Sam reported that on solo walks, he was sweet and friendly to people and other dogs. On top of this, Ronny was temporarily suffering from diarrhea and had an accident inside the house. I think the diarrhea was from having eaten an unknown amount of kibble after tearing into a fresh bag of dog-food a day or so before his overnight. From what I saw of Sam and her place, I’d highly recommend her, she clearly cares for dogs, and has a safe space for dogs - the resident dog is mellow and I would imagine gets along with most dogs. A shame it did not work out.
