House Sitting in Cornell

Austin was fantastic. I was very nervous to leave our dogs behind with someone new after our beloved dog sitter stopped working. He was very easy to communicate with and he came over twice on his own time to meet our two big dogs and to go over everything beforehand. He walked our dogs while we were away and left the home very clean. We will definitely be asking him to dog sit again!

Adeline is an absolute star sitter! From our first meet and greet I felt at ease, and even better, my dog, who can be skittish the first few times meeting a person, immediately warmed up to her. She was super communicative, sending tons of great pictures and videos and recaps of the day. Adeline followed my instructions down to the letter and promptly messaged if she had any questions. Our house was well tended as well, with everything clean and laundered up on our return. She even went above and beyond and got my pup a toy and treat. I've had some mediocre and even horrible Rover experiences, but Adeline single-handedly restored my faith in sitters on this site, that's how great she was 😊. Highly highly recommend!

It is so clear our Ellie was cared for with genuine love and attention the entire time we were away. Dee Dee kept us well‑informed with updates that gave us total peace of mind, We can tell Ellie felt safe, happy, and completely at home. Sierra was very sweet with my dog. She was able to come with short notice and kept him calm when I had to go out.

Sasha did a great job caring for our dog Nellie while we were away! She was flexible, responsive and kind. Nellie needed medication administration (allergy pills) while we were gone and Sasha didn't miss a beat, even getting creative when Nellie refused her pills. Sasha also sent photo and video updates of Nellie which we loved to receive. We came home to a clean house and a thoughtful note from Sasha! We definitely recommend her for all your pet sitting needs!

Olha was a lifesaver, we were looking for a sitter to help us with our 2 medium size pups over 4th of July weekend and with a short notice she was able to step in and help us. She came to meet the dogs a couple of days before and was reliable and communicative. We are so grateful we found her. I

Liz is amazing. We have a very challenging situation with our two dogs - they MUST be kept apart at all times because they fight. It's stressful for us - one gate left open and a fight could erupt. But, I completely trust Liz. She has experience with this type of situation and also understands the importance of giving each dog equal attention and human time. Also, she STAYS AT THE HOUSE THE WHOLE TIME - I can't tell you how many sitters we had in the past that were hardly there. Thank you, Liz!!

Allie by far was our first choice when we needed a dog/house sitter. We had never left our three dogs alone, let alone for eight days. She even came over three times before we left, so the pups would be very comfortable with her. One of our dogs is super shy, and Allie did not hesitate taking care of her and giving her the extra TLC she needed. It was such a comfort knowing that my ‘lil girls didn’t have to go stay somewhere else, but could stay in their own routine at home. Allie kept in touch with us at least two times a day on the status of everything and sent daily pictures of the dogs. She walked the twins weather permitting (during a heatwave), and when one of our girls was having a rough couple of days, she kept in constant contact and we even had a FaceTime call so the girls could hear our voices and stay calm. During her stay, she kept the house neat and tidy, and we were very comfortable having her in our home. Above all, Allie is highly trustworthy, and our dogs LOVE her.
