Dog Boarding in Diablo

I recently had the pleasure of hiring [Sitter's Name] to watch my dog, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment they met my dog, it was clear they had a natural connection with animals. She was not only punctual and professional but also went the extra mile to ensure my dog was comfortable and well taken care of. Such a loving family kept my boy active in fun activities and plenty of belly rubs. Traveling without our loved one is difficult, but knowing they are being loved and cared for makes it much easier.

We've used dogvacay/Rover a lot over the years, and this was probably one of the best experiences we've all had. Matt and Julie took care of our black lab Stella for about 2 weeks while we were away during the holidays and they took phenomenal care of her. We got pictures every day, which really gives dog parents piece of mind when you're far away, and she came home to us so happy. Shirley was the best with my little Ciela! She send me pictures though the day letting me now how Ciela was doing and made me feel that my little one was safe.

Where do I begin! Patrick is the most fantastic, kind, loving caregiver for my fury friend who absolutely LOVED staying with him!! When I initially messaged him to check his availability he even offered to do a meet and greet so she could check out his place to make her more comfortable when I dropped her off for a couple days.. and he was right! When we showed up to drop her off for her stay she knew exactly where she was and was even excited to go inside! (Which NEVER HAPPENS. It’s usually painful to leave her bc she stares with such sad eyes.) Not this time! She was so happy to see Patrick and walked right on inside with him. Patrick took her on hikes each morning and set her up with a blanket next to the fireplaces when they returned home. He sent me such sweet messages and pictures to match to keep me updated on their activities. I tend to travel often and bring my dog along most often, but when I can’t Patrick will be my overnight puppy sitter. He is the BEST!

Mike was great with our little dog. He was very calm, and understood how to win over our nervous dachsund mix. Mike sent pictures every day and took excellent care of her. I had not used Rover prior to this, so was very satisfied with the entire process.

Marie-Eve is a wonderful dog caretaker! I was quite nervous about leaving my elder dog, especially since I had never left her with someone who wasn't a family member. I was immediately put at ease. My dog did great and Marie-Eve was amazing at texting and keeping me up to date with how things were going! Thank you Marie-Eve! So happy to have found you. A gem.

Robin and Dan were absolutely amazing with my dog. I’m always nervous leaving him when going on vacation but Robin and Dan were so loving from the day we met. I choose them because they only take one dog at a time (my dog gets overwhelmed and nervous when he is with too many dogs). While we were away Robin sent me frequent updates, pictures and even videos of my dog. He looked so happy and I knew he was in good hands. I would highly recommend them and will certainly book with them again. Thank you again Robin and Dan.

Sameer was great! This was the first time we left our dog Julius for longer than a weekend and Sameer helped us feel comfortable just as much as Julius. He sent a lot of photos and gave us updates. He also made some helpful suggestions before the stay like leaving a shirt with Julius so he could have something with a familiar smell. We could tell he cared about Julius having a good stay and about us feeling at ease. It was great to see pictures of Julius out on walks and he seemed happy when we picked him up. We will definitely book with Sameer again!

My newly rescued companion ("Mango") was an adoption from a shelter. At 1 year, 8 months old "Mango" spent too much time in "shelter". After only 2 weeks with Mango I needed to be with my daughter, her family and grandkids. Liam & Nadia were the most accepting, kind, aware, and communicating people I have had the fortune to meet in a long time! Not only are they wonderful humans, but they authenitically care for the companions they are entrusted with. Mango - was loved, nurtured, provided for, encouraged, and had a safe home away from home! I am so very Blessed and grateful that I have had the opportunity to meet them as humans and trust their care and protection over my dear companion - Mango. They loved her as I would hope and desire. They almost made me want to be a dog in their home. 😎

Colleen and Paul were absolutely wonderful with Kit. They took him out for adventures and provided a nice recap message every night about what they did that day. They even gave him a new toy to go home with! I was also late for the pick up and they were very flexible with pushing the time back - really appreciated it. Will definitely book again!

Peter was amazing with Pumpkin! She felt immediately comfortable with him at drop off. I got photo updates of her during her stay. Peter made sure to follow her supplement routine and her feeding schedule. We will definitely be returning!

I highly recommend Doug and Andy! My dog, Tilly was well taken care of. She loves to meet people and other dogs. Tilly got plenty of walks and got to hang out with Doug and Andy's dog, Charley, who is a sweetie. I got pictures and updates. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing that Tilly was in great hands. I will definitely book Doug and Andy again!

Maria did such a great job taking care of my pitbull mix Charlie! He was a happy boy all weekend! She made sure to send video/photo updates every day. Charlie and her doggie Monty got along so well and played well together. What I most appreciate is that she made sure to keep Charlie in check with his rules/training. Consistency is key! Coco had such a wonderful stay! Just like a home away from Home. What a great experience for her and for me. I’m so grateful for the safe and loving environment!

Chris has become our go to sitter when we visit San Francisco area. Daisy loves him and his wife and always has a great stay with them. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable sitter in the area.

Yena’s daily pictures and videos reassured us that our dog was being well taken care of during our vacation. Yena was very careful he received his twice daily Rx and mindful that he didn’t get too much sun on his bare patch of skin on the back. She is so caring! Will use Yena for future boardings!
