Dog Boarding in El Cerrito

Absolutely loved Kai’s stay with Yuko! I had 4 trips over 3 months and was feeling guilty and worried about leaving Kai again for 6 days. We did a meet and greet and right away I felt comfortable that Kai would be well cared for. Yuko was flexible, so caring, and communicative - I received videos and updates about Kai’s state and whether she was eating well. I was so comforted knowing Kai was with loving dog sitters and had doggie friends to play with. Highly recommend!

Julie and Adam were absolutely amazing with my dog, Kato! They kept me updated and sent pictures that showed what a great time he was having with them! He came home and went right to sleep which confirms how active they kept him and how much fun he had. I highly recommend Julie and Adam, and hope they will be available to care for him again in the future!

I’ve sent my Max to two different kennels and he always comes back so sad, to the point that he doesn’t respond to us petting him. I wanted to try something more personable so I tried Rover. Maria was great and sent me photos and updates of Max during his stay. She noticed he wasn’t eating and made him special food for him with my permission of course. He came back so happy this time! He literally was smiling and happy to see us. One of her neighbors stopped my husband on the way out to tell him how much all the other neighbors liked Max. I’m sure they met him several times during his walks with Maria. I would highly recommend her!

Ashish and his family were fantastic hosts for our cheagle, Buddy. He clearly enjoyed his tiime in their home and Ashish shared lots of wonderful photos and videos to keep us in the loop.

Luna is a wonderful dog sitter! Cosmo, my dog was thrilled and happy to have stayed with her and her lovely dog, Jim! Jim was also the perfect fur host, showing Cosmo where they should play and that it was okay to run around and play together. Luna has a large and lovely yard and Cosmo enjoyed the serenity of the yard and home. Cosmo can be shy and aloof, and he does not react well to negative energy. But, he warmed up to Luna because of her thoughtful and positive approach to care giving. I trusted her to take good care of him. And, she did! Cosmo can be a velcro dog as he is with us practically 24/7, so it eased our anxiety to know that she was there for him. Thank you Luna for taking good care of Cosmo. Much aloha, Diane and Philip G.

My dog (sage) had an amazing time with Te’Arie. Sage can be reactive to bikes and Te’Aire was fabulous to ensure she got exercise but stayed safe. Te’Arie was extremely responsive and sent a lot of pictures while I was traveling, so I could see how Sage was doing. She used to work at the recuse I adopted Sage from and you can definitely see her years of experience with all types of dogs. I would highly recommend her for both boarding and daily walks as she’s helped walk Sage during the day as well!

Cannot say too many good things about Radha! First and foremost, Radha is a lovely person. I felt confident from the first communication. She sent pics and videos every day of my dog, Cormac, on their walks and hanging out in her spacious backyard. I could see how comfortable and happy he was with Radha. He really didn’t care at all about coming home 😁 I recommend Radha 💯 Thank you, Radha!

Luffy and Kianna’s family adore each other. It is so great to see updates of him playing with her family and looking so happy. I never have to worry when Kianna’s taking care of Luffy! She is fantastic and i am grateful to know her.

Wenxin was wonderful. She was so patient with Ollie, and followed all the care instructions and went beyond and above to create a calming and warm environment for Ollie. 🙏 We absolutely loved the daily pictures/videos and updates.

Robert and Brian are the ULTIMATE pet caretakers! Proactively communicating with the most beautiful photos of our GSD mix Pedro! So impressed with these two. For sure top notch Rover members. I can't recommend them highly enough! Really special duo!

My dog Bentley had great stays with Ross, Melissa and Millie. I love their dog friendly home and caring attitude. They provided lots of fun updates with pics and videos, which put my mind at ease. Great experience.

We had the pleasure of having Kiarash look after our dog, Max, and I can honestly say he went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we first met him, it was clear how much he genuinely cares (giving Max a nice walk right away and then taking him inside) not just as a job, but with real heart, attention, and dedication. Throughout Max’s long stay, Kiarash was incredibly communicative, keeping us constantly updated with messages, photos, and videos. It gave us so much peace of mind to see Max not only safe, but genuinely happy. Kiarash made sure Max got enough walks and even took him on beautiful hikes, which we know our dog absolutely loves. It was more than just basic care, it was companionship, and thoughtful attention to Max’s needs and happiness. Another thing we really appreciated was how respectful and considerate Kiarash was with Max’s diet. He went out of his way to prepare some homemade food (with our approval, of course) and always checked with us before introducing anything new into Max’s meals. That level of responsibility and respect really stood out to us. Kiarash treated Max like his own, and it showed in every little detail. We’re so grateful for the care he gave Max, and we would absolutely work with him again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Kiarash for the great care!

Danielle took such great care of my dog while I was away, and even left her with some plushies to take home. Indy got along great with the resident doggos, and I could tell she was a little sad to leave. I'll definitely rebook in the future!

Michael was so attentive to Frankie during her stay. He stayed up on sending photos a few times a day and even gave us an extra harness when Frankie’s broke during her stay. Would absolutely use him as our rover again!

Luciana and Rob took such good care of Brittany! She's an elder with increasing needs and they were very prepared to take care of her. They understood all of her quirks, took her on great walks and had her well-fed and cared for. I can tell she misses them! : ) She will be back - thanks Luciana and Rob!

Karen and Hisako were the absolute best dog sitters for Augustus, my basset hound! It was so obvious from their updates that they were loving hosting him and enjoying daily adventures together. I think all pet owners love to feel that their furry friends are in a loving home while theyre travelling, and with Karen and Hisako, you definitely get that assurance. Augustus already misses his "Japanese aunties!"
