Dog Boarding in El Cerrito

Wenxin (Lucia) and her partner were absolutely amazing with our Yorkie, Nala. She stayed with them for 8 nights. Nala sometimes gets anxiety in a new location, and we were concerned about leaving her but, but Lucia was phenomenal every step of the way. She arranged for all of us to meet (including her dogs) and welcomed us into her home so Nala could get familiar before her actual stay. Their home is warm and inviting, and they go above and beyond in ensuring all the dogs they care for are safe and happy. The daily updates (including photos and videos) were so helpful in assuaging our concerns about Nala feeling comfortable. We could not recommend them enough!

Luna is a wonderful dog sitter! Cosmo, my dog was thrilled and happy to have stayed with her and her lovely dog, Jim! Jim was also the perfect fur host, showing Cosmo where they should play and that it was okay to run around and play together. Luna has a large and lovely yard and Cosmo enjoyed the serenity of the yard and home. Cosmo can be shy and aloof, and he does not react well to negative energy. But, he warmed up to Luna because of her thoughtful and positive approach to care giving. I trusted her to take good care of him. And, she did! Cosmo can be a velcro dog as he is with us practically 24/7, so it eased our anxiety to know that she was there for him. Thank you Luna for taking good care of Cosmo. Much aloha, Diane and Philip G.

Absolutely loved Kai’s stay with Yuko! I had 4 trips over 3 months and was feeling guilty and worried about leaving Kai again for 6 days. We did a meet and greet and right away I felt comfortable that Kai would be well cared for. Yuko was flexible, so caring, and communicative - I received videos and updates about Kai’s state and whether she was eating well. I was so comforted knowing Kai was with loving dog sitters and had doggie friends to play with. Highly recommend!

I’ve sent my Max to two different kennels and he always comes back so sad, to the point that he doesn’t respond to us petting him. I wanted to try something more personable so I tried Rover. Maria was great and sent me photos and updates of Max during his stay. She noticed he wasn’t eating and made him special food for him with my permission of course. He came back so happy this time! He literally was smiling and happy to see us. One of her neighbors stopped my husband on the way out to tell him how much all the other neighbors liked Max. I’m sure they met him several times during his walks with Maria. I would highly recommend her!

It's exactly what these two lovely people say they offer- love and attention for your best friend. It's not often that we are away for an extended period of time, but Lisa and Andi made everything as easy as possible for our 13 year old Aussie. Plenty of affection, exercise, care for our dog and also plenty of care for us as we traveled by sending just the right amount of emails and photos to let us be confidant that all was well. They are also very responsive to questions whether by phone or email, and we were extremely happy with the level of care given. Well done! We will certainly be back.

Another great stay at Radha and Jimmy’s house! It’s a big comfort to know that Abby knows where she is visiting and is looking forward to playing with Jimmy. This last stay, she knew that we were taking a trip and could tell in her behavior that she was nervous about being left. As soon as we pulled up to the curb, she was excited and happy to be there and went to play immediately without any separation issues. Thank you Radha and Jimmy!

Julie and Adam were absolutely amazing with my dog, Kato! They kept me updated and sent pictures that showed what a great time he was having with them! He came home and went right to sleep which confirms how active they kept him and how much fun he had. I highly recommend Julie and Adam, and hope they will be available to care for him again in the future!

Ross was wonderful! Luna and Riley had a great time during their stay. He was friendly, responsive, and followed all care instructions perfectly, including giving medication. The girls were happy and well cared for, a truly perfect stay! I’ll definitely book with him again.

Ashish did great with our dog Five. It was clear right away that he understands dogs when Five first interacted with another nervous boarder dog, knowing how and when to introduce them. Ashish was also kind and flexible when I needed to extend Five’s stay at the last minute.

Allora and Oliver provided our dog (and us) with everything we could have hoped for and more. They took wonderful care of our lab/pit mix Milo! We received lots of messages, photos, and videos throughout the time he was boarded. Milo had an absolute blast, we could see how happy and settled he was - playing freely, getting good cuddles, and lounging around relaxed ☺️ we were very happy to see that Milo and their dog Boba got to be friends as well. We are so glad Milo has found a home away from home and we will absolutely be returning on a regular basis. Thank you, Allora and Oliver 🙏

Mariola and her daughter were incredible! Our dog Jaxie had the best time, she has been fast asleep since getting home. We will definitely use her again!!!

MY dog had a wonderful time playing with Leon's dogs and cat. I have used him before and would use him again.

Karen and Hisako were the absolute best dog sitters for Augustus, my basset hound! It was so obvious from their updates that they were loving hosting him and enjoying daily adventures together. I think all pet owners love to feel that their furry friends are in a loving home while theyre travelling, and with Karen and Hisako, you definitely get that assurance. Augustus already misses his "Japanese aunties!"

Danielle was an absolute blessing! She goes above and beyond, truly. Sunny was so well cared for and loved. He got dirty and she gave him a bath and sent him home in cutest little bandana she made for him. I can tell Danielle is a natural caregiver and loves animals and treats them with immense respect and care. Thank you so much 🙏❤️

Ana is a wonderful petcare provider. She is patient, caring, and very dependable. She connects easily with pets and always makes sure they are safe and well cared for. I trusted her completely and truly appreciated her dedication. I highly recommend Ana to any family looking for quality petcare.

Marlene helped me very last minute when dog sitting plans changed and I was so grateful for her help! Marlene and her mother were very kind and when I picked up Noodles, he was actually happy and relaxed (sometimes he’s anxious in new environments). Thank you so much and I would definitely ask for their help again!

Robert and Brian are fantastic. They take excellent care of our dog. Robert gives tons of exercise as well as affection. He provided updates and sounds like our guy had another great time over at their place. I would highly recommend Robert and Brian.
