Doggy Day Care in Floriston

Extremely great experience from beginning to end, send pictures thru the day to make us feel good and comfortable, will 💯 percent recommended her.

I would 100% book Malea again for dog daycare during future north Tahoe vacation trips when I am doing something in Tahoe that doesn’t allow dogs. Malea provides peace of mind that my dog is also having a safe and good time in Tahoe when I cannot be with her. I booked Malea for doggy daycare for my 1 yr old shepherd mix Laynie during a last minute ski trip to north Lake Tahoe during the MLK long weekend. I was looking for a dog sitter who could watch my energetic young dog during the day while I was at a nearby ski resort. I was surprised by how quickly Malea responded to my last minute inquiry (her speedy responses continued throughout the entire booking) and I was really impressed by her care and passion for dogs as well the frequent and detailed video and photo updates she shared throughout the day. She and her awesome dog, Ripp, were so friendly and welcoming to Laynie. My dog ended up playing really well with Ripp— there were so many doggy play bows and happy tongue out moments. Laynie and Ripp even ended up sneaking away to snuggle on the bed together at one point 🤣! My dog also got along with other dogs in her care and got to join Malea and doggy friends on a long and fulfilling multi-mile pack walk out in beautiful Tahoe nature. She was content tired from all her playing and outdoor adventures when we picked her up that evening. Thank you Malea and Ripp!

Kelly was very welcoming to my fur boy, she provided open space for my dog to enjoy, she sent me pics throughout our the care period, which I really liked. We plan on using Kelly's services again.

If I were a dog I'd want to stay with Kathy ALL the time. This was a no guilt dog free day for me with photos and texts letting me know how things were going...about half way through the day it seemed maybe Gracie was having a better time than I was!! If you need to find a secure, loving happy place for your very best friend I'd suggest Kathy's place hands down. Thanks Ellie for suggesting Rover.com and Kathy. Kathy, we love you. Toni and Gracie

Melissa was incredible!! She was so kind- offered to pick up Roo free of charge, was perfectly on time, extremely responsive, and took such wonderful care of Roo. I could not recommend her more! Will definitely be using Melissa next time I am back in Tahoe 💕thank you so much

Fantastic! We were so nervous about leaving our skiddish 4-month-old puppy for the first time. Luke was very thoughtful with him and sent us lots of updates to show how he was adjusting. We will absolutely use Luke again when we're in town!!

Katie did a great job on short notice taking my son's dog for the day. Often Tarkus is unhappy being left with someone, but he seemed happy by the experience, got two walks during the day, and stared out the window with longing toward Katie's house as we drove away. Katie's price is a bit on the high side, but we had 5-star service!

Dog-friendly home and dog-loving hostess: yes, we planned our vacation around June's schedule because I miss Willow, but I don't worry about her when she's with June.

He seems very attentive to the dogs he cares for. He gave me frequent updates which I appreciated. You can tell he really enjoys what he does!

This is a delayed review but I just had to share my AMAZING experience! I was able to book Shawna the day before and she was quick to book which is AWESOME! I scheduled to drop off Sparky at 6:30am and she was already waiting for us :) I was nervous bc I have a super shy dog but when we went to drop him off we walked through he CLEAN house to the HUGE backyard and my pup was at home! He was running around and enjoying himself and even forgot about me because he was THAT COMFORTABLE! Shawna kept me updated every couple of hours pictures and a message which made me happy! And Sparky was enjoying himself in every photo! I WOULD BOOK WITH SHAWNA AGAIN! SHE IS AMAZING! Thank you Shawna for the amazing experience!!!!

Madelyn was a huge help by caring for our active dogs so we could all go skiing. She came to pick them up and drop them off. Her flexibility was a huge plus. On the second day, both dogs happily jumped in her car as if they knew they were off for a good day.

Danielle hosted Berto for doggy daycare in her home while I was visiting Reno from out of town! I booked with her only 1 day in advance and she agreed (so lucky)! She was reliable, kind, communicative, and I am so glad Berto got to spend the day with her. She also made sure he got to run around outside and drink plenty of water. He was well cared for. Thank you!

Evelyn was absolutely the best sitter ever! My little guy is super shy but she made him feel right at home, sent a ton of high res adorable photos and lots of updates. Her home was spacious and gorgeous and she had a huge backyard. She even grabbed some toys and treats for him which he loved!! I could not thank your enough and would highly recommend!! Best dog sitter ever. Oakley, my yorkie, goes with Rachel in the mornings and doesn’t even look back at me. She LOVES Rachel and her dogs. Rachel is amazing and shows with how happy my dog is when I pick her up after work. I’f you need a dog sitter, you won’t find a better one than Rachel!
