Doggy Day Care in Interlaken

I hired Keren S. to look after my new dog, a mini Dachshund that I had purchased 10 weeks ago, so that I could participate in our annual family reunion at a nearby resort that does not allow pets on the property. I could not leave him with any family members, because they were all staying at the resort. I used Rover.com to find in-home pet sitters/boarders in the area, found several, but Keren's posting caught my eye because she used the term "Concierge" to describe her services, and that is exactly what I wanted, because I wanted to spend substantial time with my new 1-year-old dog every day, but I also wanted to spend substantial time at the resort with my family. Keren was absolutely wonderful! She requested that I bring my dog to her house and spend an hour with her, during which she showed me her home's floor level and back yard arrangements for dog care, introduced each of her 3 dogs and the 2 dogs she was currently providing day care for, and we had an enjoyable and (for me) educational discussion and Q&A about dogs and dog care in general. I felt very comfortable as I left her home: my dog had already made friends with her two smallest dogs. Keren was flexible and very understanding when I had to change my drop-off and pick-up times repeatedly over the next few days, due to changes in planned times for family events that I wanted to attend. I have been satisfied with other dog sitters in the past, but Keren has "raised the bar" for me. Not only did she enable ME to enjoy my vacation, she made it an enjoyable vacation for MY DOG, too! He had three days of playing with his new dog friends, and I know he greatly enjoyed -- and benefitted from! -- that experience! When we picked him up and returned home, it seemed like he had matured by 6 months in those three days. Two Thumbs Up for Keren S! Check her out!

Paul W watched our Sophie for the day. She had a great time. Paul was wonderful with her. Watching a 6 month old Australian Shepard is a challenge. We will definitely use him again when we come back to the area.

We had our dog, Nyla, stay for 1 day for daycare. Petra was great for our dog, understanding our dogs needs and slight aversion to new environments. (It takes our dog probably longer than normal to get 'comfortable' with new surroundings.) Petra shared updates and photos and feedback throughout the day. We plan to use her again as boarder on a trip that's coming in about a month. Thank you Petra!

J.D. is true to his description. Our service was for a day of care and our dog Buddy came back in a submissive and calm state. J.D. sent many pictures and we got to see Buddy interacting well with the pack that were in the house. We would totally recommend and request JD.

Tracey was absolutely amazing with my pup, Pheona. My dog suffered from IVDD that left her paraplegic and with the eventual removal of both her hind legs. She's incontinent of stool and requires manual bladder expression at least every two hours. She has to be put into a harness and strapped into her wheelchair for walks. She uses a 'scootbag' for outdoor activities. In short, my dog is a *lot* of work. During the meet and greet, Tracey took notes and asked pertinent questions regarding my dogs condition and behaviors. After evaluating, she agreed to booking - and Pho had a great time in the following three days at Doggy Day Care! She was so tired by the time I got her back that she snored heavily each night. I'm so happy Tracey agreed to take on Pho, and all with a smile and cheerful attitude. Will definitely be booking again!

Mariah was AMAZING. She went above and beyond by meeting our dogs ahead of the schedule day care to make sure everyone was compatible. She was adaptable to our drop off/pick up schedule and was willing to take them on hikes knowing that my dogs are active and need extra attention due to their high energy. She is overall a delightful person and we will absolutely be using her in the future. Thank you Mariah!

Lisa was so welcoming, kind and flexible. Her doggy is a total sweetheart & I frankly think ours was a little disappointed when we came to pick her up, she’d settled in so comfortably - tummy rubs included! Lisa would be the first person I’d call next time we’re in the area and need doggy daycare.

Jenna and her family were wonderful with our Teddy! He was very happy but very tired from all the fun he had. She was very communicative and kept me updated with pictures throughout the day. It was our first time using Rover and his first time being away from family. We highly recommend booking with Jenna.

Sissy loved staying with Deepika. She had room to run and played with the children. I wasn’t worried about leaving Sissy and Deepika sent photos. I would highly recommend her.
