Dog Boarding in Irvine

I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after my cat, Porky, than Bernie and Jennie. My family and I spent three weeks in India and, just prior to leaving, our original pet sitting option fell through. I found B& J on Rover and they were immediately responsive and supportive of our needs. When I dropped Porky at their residence, Jennie walked me through the plan which started by graciously giving Porky the master bedroom to get acclimated. During the trip, B&J sent multiple updates each day over the three weeks on Porky which included how she was adjusting and many, many pics and videos. They both took such good care of her from building her a custom “boba” cat house, providing her toys, frequent grooming and , of course, playing with her until she opened up to them. I could go on, but I’m beyond grateful for Bennie and Jennie. I had a lot of anxiety leaving Porky in new surroundings for such a long period of time. Fortunately, both B&J were the perfect people to look after our little pork. If she could speak English, I’m sure Porky would tell me to stay in India a little longer. :) Thank you so much, Bennie and Jennie

What a wonderful vacation our dog had with this lovely, caring, attentive family. They took him on many walks and were extremely responsive. I think he misses you guys already, lol!

AMAZING!! Valentina was very reliable and my pup absolutely loved her. It was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving my pup with anyone and I can confidently say that I will absolutely use Valentina again. I had no worries or doubts since the moment we met her.

We booked with Doug last minute to watch our dog Ruby, and it was a breeze. Doug was quick to respond and sent us regular picture updates while we were away. He even graciously extended Ruby's stay for an extra day when our flight got delayed. We'll definitely be booking with Doug again in the future; it was a fantastic experience overall!

Estrella was great with our puppy Momo. She was very responsive and frequently communicated updates throughout the day about him. She sent pictures and made sure we were in loop the entire time. We would definitely book her again if needed.

Patricia is an amazing dog sitter. We have been repeat customers for years. She is very skilled at reading our dogs’ behavior. Our girls love her very much. They are always happy to see her. She gives me peace of mind that my girls are going to be well taken care of and loved on.

Connie is the best !! Harry and Grace were well taken care of and she was great on sending pictures and giving me updates !! Already booked her for more !! JR

Jesslyn is the only person we'll use because she's THAT amazing. We've gone back to her consistently, and our corgi loves her, and even recognizes her neighborhood as we drive up at this point. Couldn't recommend enough 😊

Tamie is really so amazing. Hammy hurt his paw the day before his boarding started, and had it wrapped and needed to take meds throughout the weekend. Tamie was so good to him even though he was extra work needing to be carried around and take his meds. She even re-wrapped his paw when he took it off, and was so helpful when his meds gave him diahrea. Will definitely be asking her to watch Hammy again! Thank you!

Charlene is great and so sweet! She provided us a lot of updates and photos/videos throughout Penny’s stay, which we very much appreciated. Our dog Penny gets kind of anxious, but she seemed really comfortable around Charlene! She was very responsive if we had any questions or requests. Charlene also took Penny on walks and gave us feedback at pick up. Overall, we will most definitely book with Charlene again!

Oxana was lovely and great with our dog. She gave regular updates and our dog looked happy and healthy at pickup. Our dog’s bowls were returned nice and clean at pickup. We’ll definitely love to book again with Oxana next time we need boarding!

Michelle is great. My cat is very nervous in new environments and Michelle handled it well, gave her some space, and was eventually cuddling with her by the end of my cat’s stay.

Ines was great! My dog was well taken care of and came home happy. Ines was very responsive and took the time to get to know my dog to better care for her. Would highly recommend!

I never leave reviews, but Tina was absolutely exceptional and understanding I felt as if I had to. She is super kind and really loves dogs and you can see it. She messaged so many times with pictures and updates about my dog, her service is truly exceptionally. I know you might feel nervous about leaving your dog with someone you might not know, but Tina takes away all of the nerve and doubt instantly. I can’t say enough great things about her. She is super flexible and reliable so if something comes up she will work for you, speaking from person experience. Will definitely be coming back to her!

Baining was amazing with my fur baby. She was in constant communication with me. I appreciated all the pictures she shared of Athena. During their walks or just relaxing at her home. Athena looked super comfortable, happy and relaxed with Baining. I will definitely be booking her again. Thank you!

This was our second time having Rebecca watch our yorkie. As soon as we pulled up to her house our dog knew where she was and gave us her excited bark. It’s always hard leaving our family member behind for trips but this made my heart so happy. Rebecca really is a treasure.

Mika took great care of Louis and sent me regular updates. I’m glad to have found a sitter we can trust and have peace of mind while I am away. Louis is excited for his future stays!

It was a transformative journey for Yoshi as his first-time boarding experience. His stay with Afra has been extremely well and we picked up a relaxed, happy and clean boy after 7 days. Yoshi got lots of love and attention from Afra and her family, as we can tell from two updates everyday. He was nervous and probably made troubles in the beginning (he does potty more frequently when he’s nervous). Afra provides detailed info about his potty and sleeping hours. Yoshi warmed up gradually after the first two days, surrounded by love and gentleness from the boys, Calpico and another doggie friend later joined. A big difference we noticed about Yoshi is that he really behaves and stays calm when encounter other dogs and strangers, while he would easily get nervous and bark previously. Afra also went further step in keeping our boy clean 🧼 . Being a white fluffy ball, Yoshi is even more cleaner than he was when we initially dropped him off (if i’m not mistaken). We are very grateful to Afra and her family. Thank you all the efforts, supports and patience in accommodating Yoshi from the beginning and making him feels at home!!! Look forward to meet Calpico again!
