House Sitting in Kensington

Nastasia did a great job watching our dog and cat for the weekend and left our home clean and exactly as we’d left. She gave consistent updates and our pets really loved her. We have a reactive dog and she did a great job handling his behavioral issues.

Tania was an instant friend to our 76 pound mixed lab. She took great care of him and our home while we were away. Responsive, caring and personable are just some of the glowing adjectives we would use to describe Tania. We LOVED the pics that she sent during her stay!

I’m so grateful to have had Ana come and take care of Jake and my house for this last weekend. Very communicative, very affectionate with Jake and clearly loves her work. Looking forward to having her come stay again.

Alexandra was an excellent house sitter! Kind, responsible, our kitties really liked her on first meeting. She is always quick to respond to questions, provided updates, very thorough, and left the house pristine. Chazz even brought her a mouse as tribute and she handled the situation in stellar future. Sara continues to go above and beyond in so many ways to make sure our boys are safe and healthy and happy. We could not be more lucky and grateful to have her! Thank you Sara!

Rachel was wonderful! She quickly learned each kitty's unique personality and made sure they felt comfortable and cared for. For example, she took extra time with our shy cat, helping them warm up to her. Rachel regularly sent stories and photos, which reassured us and kept us connected while we were away. She even took the initiative to set up new kitty water bowl items we had ordered, making the environment more enjoyable for our pets. Thanks to her attentiveness and proactive approach, we felt completely at ease. I highly recommend Rachel and will definitely reach out to her again.

Luna is absolutely amazing. She cared for our 3 month old Aussie puppy for 3 days and nights and she came back a better dog! Luna cares so much about the animals in her life and really understands their behaviors and needs. Our puppy had all kinds of undirected energy that was coming out with lots of puppy biting a frustrated barking, and since the stay with Luna and her pack she has really developed more focus and awareness of her behaviors, as have we. We are looking forward to her next stay. Thanks so much!

Anny and her roomies were so wonderful I almost don’t want to leave a review for fear she’ll be all booked up next time my doggo needs a sitter. I recommend her without reservations. My dog is reactive to strangers (among other things), and she navigated his quirks beautifully, sending me a ton of videos and photos along the way. It was so nice to know that he was in such good hands while we were away for two weeks.

Phuong took great care of our very anxious dog while we were away. It was the first time we have used a dog sitter who stayed in our house, and we were not sure what to expect. But once we met Phuong, we were very comfortable with the situation. She is trustworthy, communicates well, and follows instructions. Best of all, she was able to reassure our fearful pup and establish a good relationship with her.

Della took very good care of our puppy for 10 days at our apartment. She has a calm energy and he liked her right away. Della communicated and sent pics every day and responded very promptly which put my mind at ease while away from my puppy for the first time. She was early/ on time for both the meet up and first day of the dog sitting stay which I really appreciated, too. I appreciated her taking very good care of our dog!

Isaiah was awesome! He kept us updated while we were gone, sent pictures, and spent lots of time cuddling with our Lana. She loved him! We will for sure be booking again!

Cara was a fantastic sitter for our dog Drew! This was our first time using Rover for a house sit and we could not have asked for a better experience. Cara provided daily updates, including photos and videos, and took great care of our anxiety-prone doggo. She also took great care of the house and left everything clean and tidy. I would gladly have her sit for us again.

Josephine did so well with our paraplegic pup Zulu!! Finding specialty care for a paraplegic dog can be tricky, but Josephine was open to learning & eager to try caring for Zulu - and she did amazingly!! Zulu was so satisfied (I.e., tired hehe) - Zulu loves her dedicated Rover friends, and we’re very glad we found Josephine for future care needs!

Right when Ashley met our anxious dog Edie, I knew they would bond and that Edie would be in great hands. Ashley had great communication, and send me extra updates which helped me feel really relaxed. She followed Edie’s routine perfectly, and we came home to a very happy dog (and a very clean space which shows how Ashley goes above and beyond!). I’ll definitely be booking with Ashley again!

We’re so grateful we found Asher to watch our dog Sadie. He’s watched her a few times now and having him at our home with her always puts us at ease — he’s always been dependable and communicative, and Sadie loves him! Thanks Asher!
