House Sitting in La Jolla

Jaylynne is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. She sent lots of updates and my dog clearly loved her and he’s normally very indifferent to new people.

Echoing everyone's sentiment about Luis and the care he provided, he is amazing! Luis is thorough. He arrived to the meet & greet on time with a notebook and took copious notes. Luis house sat for seven days and his services included: providing oral and otic medication to one of our senior cats daily as well as walking and playing with our energetic dog. What impressed us the most was the detailed account of our pets including pictures of each pet (two cats, one dog). Luis sent this several times a day to keep us in the loop. We have been using Rover sitters for many years and he is the first one to provide us with detailed information without having to reach out to him. Luis is a person who takes his responsibilities seriously and behaves professionally; we highly recommend him to care for your beloved pets.

Our puppy loved Sara! They played and cuddled. We loved the check in’s so we could enjoy the park and not worry about our little puppy. Thank you so much and see you again soon :)

I couldn’t be happier with the care Heather provided for Loki! She showed up on time, asked great questions to make sure she understood his routine, and went above and beyond to keep me updated. I truly appreciated the wonderful photos she sent, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She also took Loki on multiple walks, ensuring he got plenty of exercise and attention. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and I would absolutely trust her with Loki again. Highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!!!

Yang stayed with our dogs for almost 2 weeks while we were out of the country. He was great with our dogs, including one who tends to get really anxious when we are away. He is so competent and communicative- I really felt like I could enjoy my vacation knowing he was holding down the fort at home. The house was in great shape when we got back and the dogs happy and healthy!

Jor-el was amazing, he kept us up to date on our dog every day, and made our trip totally worry free! We highly recommend to work with Jor-el, he sincerely loves animals and is trustworthy!

Averi was absolutely incredible as a dog sitter! One of our dogs had some health needs arise shortly before our scheduled dog-sit, and Averi was incredibly responsive and supportive of our doggo's needs, which gave us such peace of mind in leaving them in her care. She remained in regular contact with us (with pics of pups) throughout our trip, and followed through with everything asked of her for both dogs. Our dogs can be a little skittish with new people, but Averi's calming and secure presence allowed them to warm up to her quickly and have a great weekend with her. We would absolutely book with her again and feel so fortunate to have found her on Rover!

Allison did a wonderful job with our greyhound for. 5 night inhouse sitting. Daily updates with pictures. Would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future.

Roberta is our favorite and we were so happy to have her back! Her communication is always wonderful, she sends so many photos of our fur gang, and the we always come back to a spotless house. She’s our favorite find on Rover!

Lauren took care of my two girls 🐶 in the best way possible. She was really understanding and caring about them. She is such a caring person and her energy is amazing. I will definitely be booking with her more often!

Diana is the best pet sitter Leia, our super spoiled French Bulldog, has ever had!!!! I know my dog and she was relaxed and happy…I don’t think she even experienced any separation anxiety and it was a long 9 days for me! Diana sent me daily videos and photos in which I was able to tell that Leia responded really well to Diana. We are definitely booking all future trips with Diana if she’s available.
