Dog Boarding in La Mesa

Linda was a wonderful dog sitter. My Sundae looked very happy as she was photographed by Linda to send me updates of her through the day. She was walked feed and even read to through the day. I could not be happier with my choice of doggy sitting. Thank you so much Mrs.Linda!

I can’t say enough great things about this amazing couple and the care they provided for our dog, Frida! Trent and Ryssa are not only a wonderful couple with a newborn baby, but they also have two Labradors of their own—yet somehow, they still gave Frida all the love and attention she needed. From the start, they were incredibly responsive via email, making communication seamless. Before booking, we visited to ensure our dog would get along with theirs, and it was a perfect match. Their playful puppy and Frida became instant friends, while their older dog took on the role of the responsible guardian, keeping an eye on the fun. One of the best parts? They live just half a block from a fully fenced dog park within their gated community—an ideal setup for outdoor playtime. And despite having a one-month-old baby, Ryssa still found the time to walk the dogs and send us videos of Frida enjoying herself. I have no idea how she managed it all, but I was beyond impressed! As a bonus, they’re multilingual, speaking English, Portuguese, and Spanish, making communication effortless. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Frida with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving, caring family to take care of their dog.

Whitney took amazing care of our 14 week old puppy for 10 nights! It was our first time not having her and we were so worried about being away for that long but she did great! It was so nice to get frequent photos and updates on our puppy. Whitney and her whole family did a wonderful job at welcoming Bella and providing great care and comfort! We would definitely recommend Whitney and request her again :)

Lobo and Prince had so much fun with Gwendolyn! I received lots of pictures and updates. Thank you so much for taking such good care of them on short notice. We will be booking with her again in the future.

Ami was great! She took great care of our pup while we were away. Communication was easy, updates were helpful, and we came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup. No complaints at all — we’d gladly book with her again!

Cristina has been my favorite sitter so far this month. We have been with 3 other sitters previous to her, and he feels so comfortable being at her place. They have a nice big fenced backyard for him to play around in. He loves playing toys with them. He didn’t really wanna go home when I went to pick him up yesterday. I only wish I had known about her before for my upcoming Christmas trip.

Katelyn & Paul loved our sweet girl Roxy from our initial meet and greet. They were so welcoming and so excited to meet her and have her stay with them. Their dog Winnie and Roxy became fast friends as evident from all the photos and videos I got of them playing and snuggling together. K & P have a large backyard and magnetic screens that allowed the pups to come and go outside as they pleased. They took Roxy with them on a few outings and many walks. I would highly recommend them and will definitely request their help again when we have to leave our sweet girl behind while we travel.

Holly looked after my furry companion very, very well. She's always communicative; always dependable; and always great to work with. I've hired her twice now and can't wait to do business with her again. A pleasant lady with a compassionate soul. Thanks gain, Holly.

Raquel took great overnight care of Betz and Ramen. We were in the area for a concert. Raquel was flexible with the drop off and pick up times when our plans were altered by an hour. We were sent away with custom-made (by Raquel's daughter) bananas for each dog and a super-cute photo of them. Raquel sent regular updates and let us know we should enjoy tge evening and didn't need to reply to her uodates. We will definitely use Raquel again.

We cannot recommend Maryjane enough! She was so patient and loving with our Akita mix and Maltipoo, showing she can handle dogs of all sizes with ease. From the moment she met them, her warm personality put us right at ease. While we were away on vacation, she showered them with love, took them on regular walks, and even went above and beyond by making homemade treats. We especially appreciated her communication; she sent us frequent photos, videos, and updates, which allowed us to relax knowing our fur babies were genuinely happy. If you’re looking for a top-tier pet sitter in San Diego, Maryjane is the one. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Becca is an amazing sitter! From the meet and greet through the time I picked Frankie up, Becca was friendly, responsive, and really showed how much she cared about Frankie. She took detailed notes on Frankie’s likes, dislikes, and meal routines, and reached out if she had any questions. I loved the daily updates and pictures, and Frankie truly had an amazing stay at her house. She was also very kind when our travel plans changed and I really appreciated her flexibility and kindness. I wholeheartedly recommend Becca. Frankie is counting the days until her next visit!

Layla was the best! She really cares for animals and Benson was so happy there! She was great with sharing info and pics. He seemed like he had the best time and got to go to the dog park and felt right at home. He’d be excited to go back-he was so sad to leave!

Kaitlin and Verle were wonderful sitters for our cattle dog. They took excellent care of her and shared updates during her stay. Would highly recommend them to others!

Right after drop off received pics and even video on how my pup was doing which made me feel more at ease. Madison was very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I will be bringing my pup back for future boarding.
