House Sitting in La Mesa

Tara is an excellent dog sitter! She took such great care of Lenny. He got plenty of exercise and had so much fun. Tara is great with communication, sending updates, and was very flexible. I highly recommend Tara to care for any dog.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carolyn! We had used Carolyn previously to dog-sit our single older terrier, and thought she was amazing then. We recently had her back for a long weekend that included house sitting and caring for three dogs (our terrier, plus a friend’s older Corgi and young puppy Corgi). The complexity of the canine management required three pages of instructions! Just an example of the complexities include: the older Corgi was prone to falling in the pool (so could not be unsupervised outside); the older terrier and young puppy Corgi did not get along all of the time; the two older dogs had medication requirements at different times of day; and the feeding the three dogs necessitated complicated logistics, using different food and separate feeding locations. There are very few dog-sitters I would have trusted with all of this canine craziness! Carolyn took it all in stride. We received frequent photos from Carolyn during the weekend, and the pups were safe and happy (even the cranky old terrier). The house was beautiful when we return. So fantastic to find a pro like Carolyn on Rover!

Leo was fantastic with my two older, larger dogs, Odin (M-10) and Tilde (F-7). Even after Tilde's initial guard aggression during the pre-visit, Leo agreed to watch the dogs for 2 days. We came up with solutions for everyone involved, including Leo, which worked well at the time of implementation, while I was away. Leo showed incredible patience and understanding as well as willingness to work with me, and the dogs. I am very thankful since this was a last minute booking and I would have had to cancel my trip if it had not worked out.

Maria was fantastic. She came through last minute when someone cancelled on me. She sent pictures every day. She took great care of my Belladonna!!

Dee really helped us out in a bind. Our usual sitter cancelled 2 days before our scheduled trip. I was stressed. I went back to Rover and found Dee who had amazing reviews! She's as good as the reviews stated. Took good care of our girl. We came back to a clean house and a happy dog. I would recommend Dee to anyone.

Maureen was amazing and bailed us out of a last minute jam when our old sitter canceled. She came over the same day for a meet and greet with our two crazy Great Danes. She was on time, personable, communicative during the stay. Our pups were in excellent hands and we will 100% ask her to sit for us again.

Audrey is fantastic! We have used her services twice now. Our pup is a little guarded and nervous, but she is so patient. He has warmed up to her quickly and she does a great job of taking care of him. We are at ease and it's nice to get updates and know he's enjoying his time with her. She sends me daily pictures of my dog. Thank you, Audrey!

Ronnie was so incredible! She sent pics and updates during my trip and I can tell they had a great time! Def recommend!

Jeremiah was so thoughtful on sending so many pictures of my baby while I was away from her. He kept me updated on their walks. She seems exhausted after her walks and looked very happy in her photos I received.

Gretchen did a fantastic job caring for my sweet kitty Rory and house sitting. She is trust worthy and my cat loves we!!

Brandy is great! She has stayed in our home with our dog several times. This trip was for 10 days. We never worry when Brandy is caring for our pup! She keeps us updated with pictures and messages. She's definitely our favorite pet sitter!

This was our first time using a pet sitter, and everything went so smoothly with Amanda. We have a senior dog with a lot of separation anxiety and health issues, and Amanda had no issues with his care needs. We will definitely be using Amanda again!
