House Sitting in Mission Viejo

An unexpected family emergency required me to leave town with just a day's notice. As someone new to using Rover, I felt apprehensive about entrusting my dog to a stranger and having them stay at my home. Upon connecting with Rachel via text, my concerns quickly faded away. Rachel's exceptional qualities shone through. Despite Biggie being an extremely anxious dog, Rachel managed to put him at ease remarkably fast; he was soon lying on his back, enjoying tummy rubs from her. Rachel's kindness and thoughtfulness stood out. She went above and beyond, regularly sending me pictures of Biggie engaged with his toys, snuggled up on his bed, playing in the yard, and even watching a show alongside her. These updates were truly heartwarming, as they reassured me that Biggie was not only well taken care of but also genuinely enjoying his time. It's difficult to express how grateful I am for Rachel's care. Her abilities with dogs seem almost magical, and I can confidently say that she has a unique talent for understanding and communicating with them.

Alecia was amazing, she took such good care of our pets and left our house in great condition which I always appreciate. Will reach out to her for all future bookings!!

Kimberly is super responsible, very flexible and very responsive. She sent pics of the dogs each day and we felt super comfortable and happy with her stay with our pups knowing they would be taken care of and that she could manage both dogs with their specific quarks. Highly recommended!

Jimena did a fantastic job sitting our cat. She is great with communication and kept us updated with lots of photos. Our house was clean and our kitty was happy on our return. Highly recommend!

Maya was so great with our dogs! She spent the week at our house, giving them multiple daily walks and lots of love. We felt very comfortable with Maya and will definitely book her again in the future!

Laura provided housesitting and care of my 15 year old beagle recently. Her communication was outstanding, providing me frequent updates and pictures throughout her stay. As a senior, my dog has some special needs as well which Laura attended to with great care. I would definitely recommend Laura and hire her again!

Camille clearly has a real love for animals. She is gentle, patient and gave my animals plenty of time to meet and get to know her. She was thoughtful enough to meet my animals, not once, but twice, just to be sure they were comfortable with her. Camille is the kind of person who you and your pets will immediately feel comfortable with. She is responsible, timely, thoughtful. The pictures and videos she sent were comforting and it was easy to tell everyone was happy. I feel fortunate to have found her and look forward to future stays!

Nancy always does such an incredible job with our dogs and treats them like her own!! We have a 3 year & 5 month old yellow lab and they always have so much fun with her. We love that follows all of our instructions & she leaves our house clean, too! Thank you Nancy!

Emily did a lovely job caring for our Piper girl. We got updates from Emily regularly and always knew what was going on. This was our first time having someone dog sit at our home and I'm so glad that we picked a sitter as nice as Emily!

Joy stayed at our house over the weekend and took care of all our pets and house while we were away. I was nervous hiring someone for the job because we have a busy house with 3 dogs (one of which is a big crazy lab puppy), 2 cats, a big sulcata tortoise and a fish! She handled the job easily and when she wasn’t sure about something, she reached out and asked questions. She was very communicative and the animals all loved her. We would definitely hire her again! ??

Meg was AMAZING! She took care of our little farm as though they were her own. She stayed in our place and was very attentive and respectful. She responded back quickly and gave us all the updates and pictures we asked for. When we came home everything was exactly as we left it. She was affectionate to all our animals and was very sweet. Honestly one of the best sitters we have had. We will definitely be in touch with Meg whenever we are out of town. If you have been looking for the right sitter to trust with your fur babies you will find it in Meg. Can't thank her enough!!!
