Dog Boarding in National City

Jessica was wonderful and accommodating! We have a rambunctious and somewhat anxious dog - she came back to us cheerful and calm. We were favorably impressed. In addition to her dog-handling, we ran an hour late to pickup due to poor planning on our part - Jessica handled it gracefully and was very kind about our tardiness. All around great first experience on Rover - would happily entrust our pup to Jessica again!

My dog came home very relaxed, not jumping all over me and anxious like she typically is when I've picked her up in the past. This let me know she had a very peaceful and relaxing stay with Carolina. 10/10 recommend

Cristina and her family took amazing and gentle care of our 15 year old Chiweenie, Sammy. We were able to book her on short notice and she was extremely kind, flexible, and reliable. She has a beautiful home with a nice backyard. She sent frequent pictures of Sammy during our trip, and Sammy was very happy in their care — he started to miss them when we picked him up :) I highly recommend her to anyone looking for dog boarding, especially for older dogs. Izac is a wonderful caretaker for my dog king. He has great availability for people like me who have crazy schedules being in the military. My fur baby always gets excited when he knows he’s going to his sitters it’s like his second family and I would most definitely recommend your pup to be under izacs care !!!

Pamela did a phenomenal job taking care of our dog Clover for three days. She was really good at giving us updates as to how he was doing and sending us pictures. She also delivered Clover back to us when we got back which was a big help and saved us the drive. I would highly recommend Pamela and will use her services again.

Claudia and Cris literally saved the day when they agreed to book Hazel last minute, I mean on the fly! I needed a place for a very young high energy girl and they took her, not only at the last minute but she flourished there! They were very knowledgeable with the dogs. They were extremely professional. They really floored me from beginning to end with how kind, conscientious, likable , and helpful they were. If you are looking for a really GREAT spot for your fur child, look no further! These are your girls. I cannot thank you enough Claudia& Cris, eternally grateful 🩵 The yard is dog heaven with toys, activities, and soft music. They get plenty of exercise , great care, healthy food, and love. Again, look no further.

Heather was so welcoming! She kept me updated and sent me photos throughout the day. My dog looked like he had so much fun! I'm very satisfied with her care and would definitely book with her again.

I left my 6-month-old Belgian Malinois / Golden Retriever mix, Rocky, in her care while I was away in Puerto Rico for nearly a week — the first time I’ve ever been apart from him for that long. Rocky isn’t just a pet to me; he’s my baby, my son, and choosing someone to watch over him wasn’t something I took lightly. From the very beginning, she made me feel at ease. She was extremely responsible, attentive, and communicatively active — sending me daily photos, giving me thoughtful updates, and keeping me in the loop on everything from his mood to his meals. I could see in every picture that he was happy, safe, and loved. When I returned, Rocky was in great spirits.. maybe even happier than before! That kind of peace of mind is priceless, and it speaks volumes about how well he was cared for. I could tell she didn’t just “watch” him she bonded with him, respected his needs, and made sure he felt at home even when I was away. If you’re looking for someone to trust with your fur baby, someone who genuinely cares, look no further. Keri is the kind of sitter who makes a dog feel like family and makes a dog parent feel confident and grateful

Alex was amazing with my cat, Amory! He sent me daily updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away, and it was clear from the photos and messages that Amory was getting lots of love and attention. Alex was incredibly dedicated and made sure Amory was safe, comfortable, and happy the entire time. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend!

We needed a warm home for a our playful Nugget while we needed to be away for a number of days. With the many options Rover is offering, Melinda stood out. This is our first time using the service and she made us feel welcome and provided us answers we were looking for. We love that they offer a fenced backyard and large enough for our puppy to play. She would also keep us posted with wonderful photos of their walks. Melinda and her family is amazing and I would definitely ask for them next time. 👍👍👍

Linda Jean is wonderful! She makes sure to follow specific instructions regarding my dog and I know she is careful, kind and loving with him. It’s a huge responsibility to care for another’s dog-one she takes seriously- and I trust her 100%! No worries for me at all when she has him so time away from him is worry free! He will return there next time I need him cared for. She is a GEM!

Raquel was awesome! My dog definitely felt at home. She usually is nervous when she’s away from home but from all the updates she seemed happy and enjoying her “vacation”.
