House Sitting in Orinda

It was so reassuring to know that Amila was taking such good care of our pup while we were away. She was friendly, professional, responsive, followed our instructions, and went above and beyond to care for Blossom. And we received thoughtful updates and photos throughout. I'd highly recommend.

Alexis took great care of our high need, reactive Choco gal. She was communicative leading up to our trip, accommodating when our flight was moved up, and sent photos throughout her stay. Our Freyja needs a calm, reassuring energy and Alexis is a great fit as a dog sitter and walker!

Isaiah was so wonderful with my dog. He sent through so many great updates that gave me the peace of mind that my dog was well taken care of during my weekend away from her!

Our dogs love Stephanie! She takes great care of them. This was the first time leaving our new puppy with her and we knew we didn’t have to worry about him. We also love the updates and photos she sends. Stephanie is our go-to dog sitter!

Irina is truly a Cat Whisperer. She was a calm presence for my shy senior kitty, taking good care of him in my apartment while I travelled on business. When I returned, he was so relaxed and happy, and he even looked to the door when I came in to see if his friend Irina was coming too. I knew at our meet & greet that she was the right sitter for Clancy because he did not immediately run and hide when she walked in. She was as patient and compassionate with the kitty as she was with his anxious owner, who had not left him with a sitter in some time. She also responded promptly to my initial outreach and was always prompt and decisive with scheduling. And the best part? Irina is an excellent photographer and I now have many beautiful pictures of my beloved boy. I'm already looking forward to my next trip, and I think Clancy is too!

Cara did a great job taking care of our Greta. She checked in with pictures of our happy dog on a regular basis. She also took good care of our home.

Fuliang was a great communicator and my pup was calm and happy after he watched him. I needed to make some unexpected changes and Fuliang was very curious and understanding.

Vivian was great! We hired her to care for our dog and house while we were on a long vacation and she was wonderful at keeping us updated on how our sweet girl was doing. Vivian arrived on time the first day, took lots of pictures of Luna and sent them to us so that we could see how things were going, and she left the place exactly as we left it. I would highly recommend her for your pet care needs!

Our pups loved having Jena watch them over a long weekend - she was very attentive to their needs and made sure they were comfortable. Jena shared updates and made sure all communication was clear. She was a great houseguest and treated our home with care. We look forward to having her watch the girls in the future!

Val was incredibly patient, understanding, and communicative as we asked her to watch our cat and dog in our home for nine days. We couldn't have asked for a better housesitter! Our dog, Betty, is a shy, fearful girl, and Val was so patient and skilled at making sure she built a strong, positive relationship with her from the get go. This was our first time leaving Betty for so long, and knowing that Val was at home with her gave us such confidence that Betty (and Freddie!) were getting lots of care and attention while we were gone. Val has great attention to detail, is incredibly professional, and just a warm, positive human. :) Thank you so much, Val, for taking care of our fur family while we were gone! Betty, Freddie, Ben and I are sending big thank you hugs for all of the 'extra mile' work that you put in!!

Sarah is easily the best sitter I’ve had! I have a very energetic dog and Sarah knew exactly how to work with her on leash. My pup is always happy to see Sara! Also Sara did an awesome job of making me feel comfortable leaving my pup with her. My pup is a Covid dog so I’m very picky about who watches her, and Sara was perfect.

Sara continues to go above and beyond in so many ways to make sure our boys are safe and healthy and happy. We could not be more lucky and grateful to have her! Thank you Sara!

Tania was an instant friend to our 76 pound mixed lab. She took great care of him and our home while we were away. Responsive, caring and personable are just some of the glowing adjectives we would use to describe Tania. We LOVED the pics that she sent during her stay!

Della spent 7 days at my home in Orinda caring for my dogs and my house. This was her first time working for us, so there was a lot of specific details for her to learn. I have used several sitters in the past, and feel I am in a good position to evaluate her performance. In short, it was excellent. Della did a great job communicating each day. She took the dogs on extended walks. She asked questions if she was unsure about certain details of the house/dog care during her stay, which was reassuring to me. The house was very neat when I returned. She was enthusiastic to get the opportunity to work for us, was timely for our introductory meeting, was present for the vast majority of each day at the house during the stay, and provided feedback after she completed the job. Della is a very intelligent person with an incredible personal history. It is a pleasure to be able to help her achieve her goals. I will certainly be asking her to work for us again.

G’la was an excellent pet/house sitter. She took great care of my dog who had just been in a car accident and needed extra special care. Definitely recommend!
