House Sitting in Rancho Palos Verdes

We were very lucky to find JoAnne for a long (10-11 day) trip. She provided excellent care for our rescue dog, Kira. She put up with all of Kira’s quirks—from barking at kitties to early morning wakings—but what really sets JoAnne apart is her dedication to the pups in her care and her desire to make your vacation as stress free as possible. She arrived at our house just as we were leaving so we’d know she was there. She was excellent and patient with Kira (who takes some time to warm to strangers). She stayed with Kira for the entire trip, only leaving our house a few times (and communicating those trips) for a few short hours. Kira is used to being alone and doesn’t have separation anxiety, but JoAnne wanted to be there with Kira the whole time—which was really above and beyond given it was such a long stay. She sent lots of photos and updates, and left our house very clean. We are so grateful for JoAnne!

This was our first time using Rover and we had such a wonderful experience with Andrea housesitting with our 2 senior pups! I was a little nervous because they aren't too great with new people but she was so patient with them during the meet and greet and by the end of the first day they were already snuggling with her on the couch. Communication was great and prompt; she shared lots of photos and updates, and the house was exactly as we left it. She'll be our first call if/when we need someone to care for our pups! Would definitely recommend!!

Bethany took care of our home, senior dog and young cat as if they were her own. I appreciated the open communication, photos and videos while we were gone! She was very flexible and understanding as travel plans changed due to weather. Highly recommend and will gladly have her house sit again.

Brittany is absolutely fabulous, and really spends quality time with our pup. She provides quality feedback and results to questions and comments durring her stay.

Julia is wonderful! She is so sweet about taking care of our dog Lola. She consistently sends photos and updates throughout the day which is so reassuring and fun to see. We know lola gets great care when she is here which means so much! Will continue to rebook her whenever we can!

Kyle took excellent care of my boys. Sent pics often and communicated often. I could tell my boys were comfortable with him by the pictures of them laying their head on his leg while sleeping. Highly recommend Kyle and will definitely use him again

Josh, watched my dog for a second time and longer time. As with the last time he was so professional, communicative, thoughtful, prompt, and caring. He provides me regular txt and picture and video updates. He asked important questions and was always courteous and kind in his communication. I really appreciate him as my go to dog sitter now. Highly highly recommend him.

Gabby demonstrated exceptional attentiveness to Koko, meticulously caring for her needs. She took Koko on walks, ensured she was well-fed, and kept me updated with pictures throughout the process, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Gabby for pet care.

Bree was amazing. Took such great care of our retriever. She communicated regularly and seemed to enjoy our goofy boy. She even snuggled with him on the floor! She went above and beyond when she offered to come back to our house late at night to check on him & take him potty on the last day, when she found out we wouldn’t be home until after midnight. Hope to hire her again!

It was great knowing our pets were being well cared for while in the comfort of their own home. Katherine is lovely and very responsible.

Allen was great! Our dogs were super happy when we returned, which I know is because they were spoiled! We received awesome pics, and updates throughout the day! Would have Allen watch our dogs again!

Jack is lovely! We knew he’d be a great match for our little monkey by the great questions he asked. None of just, “What’s the WiFi password?” But instead, “What’s feeding time?” , “Where’s the litter box?” , “What’s the combination of litter?” , “What’s he’s favorite toy?” Highly recommended!

Christy was terrific with Frito. And most importantly to me she communicated very well and sent me a good amount of pictures. She really bonded with Frito and I look forward to having her watch Frito again.

Jose is the best! He took care of our dog Bear one week after a surgery that needed some additional attention. He also took care of our home and watering :)
