Dog Boarding in Rough and Ready

Vinny had a great sleepover was well cared for & made some new friends while I had surgery. With Vinny still recovering from his surgery last week it was nice to have a safe place for him while I had surgery & needed to focus on me for a minute. Apparently he had very good manners while he was away from home. 😁🥰💞

I was afraid to leave my great dane Morder with anyone, as he is not one to warm up to people. He also typically gets very depressed and starts to destroy things when i leave him for a longer period of time, and i was going to be gone for almost 2 weeks. Well, let's just say, I won't worry about leaving him with Grant!!. Grant took his time introducing himself to him and to the other members of the pack, and Morder did great. He made new friends, played, ran, slept, and was a happy boy while i was gone. Grant sent pictures of his stay which helped with MY separation anxiety! I will definitely be bringing Morder back!!!

Kandra was amazing in watching Dash for us last minute as we couldn’t find anywhere that would board a puppy for a week. He was very well taken care of and had plenty of other dogs to play with and room to run around and take all the naps he wanted too. We definitely will want to use Kendra again whenever we can’t take him with us on a trip.

Aron was a very gracious host who took care of my Buddha. Buddha enjoyed being with all the other dogs. I was a little concerned at first at how many dogs were there but Aron did a great job of keeping them all together. He clearly has a gift with animals and loves what he does. My girls were very well taken care of. Lots of pictures and updates, they looked very happy. I’ll definitely be going there again. Thank you!

Our girl had a great time. She swam in the ponds and Linda wasn't bothered at all with her going for a swim, sometimes more than once a day. She is exhausted and happy. We will be coming back as long as they will have her!

Lelie was wonderful with my sweet little Alfie! He is generally a happy little dog, but overly attached to me. So it was nice that he seemed so happy to be at Leslie's beautiful home in Grass Valley. I highly recommend her!

Our dog seems happy and Nina was great at sending updates with pictures. They have a big 7 acre land with water body so dogs can have fun. They have a few doggos at home so our dog had company. Nina went out of her way to keep dog next to her at night, sweet gesture. Not sure how it will be in winter but I think we found a new home for our dog.

Rubie and I are very bonded and she hates being away from me. BUT, she loves going to Amanda’s. I couldn’t be happier and I use her exclusively when I need a pet sitter.

Jane was really terrific! Her calm demeanor made Sunny immediately comfortable! Her experience with dogs made us feel at ease when we went to Thailand for 12 days, and left him with her. Since this was the first time we had left him anywhere in 2½ years, we were quite nervous. Jane's house/yard nicely accommodated our energetic 100 lbs Goldendoodle. This made it easier for us, because we knew Sunny was in good care and a comfortable environment. Jane was great with communication and always responded back very quickly to keep us updated with info and great pics of him snuggling and going for runs. It was obvious Sunny was happy and having a good time. We will definitely use Jane as a care provider in the future and recommend her without reservation. Steve and Alina, Sunny's parents. Very great experience. Was our first time boarding dogs. Was very surprised when she saw the big German shepherd and handle them with ease and treated them like they were her own dogs. I am very grateful I found Samantha.

Amanda was very accommodating and flexible! It was our first time leaving Oso alone with anybody but Amanda and her family made sure he felt at home. We Would definitely let Oso come back! Thank you 😊

Sushi had so much fun with John and his family. They went for walks and lots of play time. John’s great with communicating with me, he always gives me updates and sends pictures too. We’ll definitely have Sushi stay with them again.
