House Sitting in San Mateo

This was my first time booking Caroline and she exceeded all expectations my girls were so well taken care of . She sent many pictures , videos and updates so I was able to relax knowing they were in good hands. The house was also left spotless you’d never know she was there. Also enjoyed all the fun collages she made of the pups! We look forward to booking Caroline again in the future.

Caroline was awesome in every way - she was willing to come and meet my cat ahead of scheduling, and then once again before my trip to get an orientation of the place and the detailed notes I had created for her. She was also flexible with a last moment lockbox issue and alternate arrangements to retrieve my keys. My cat was happy with meal, treat, and play time schedules being followed. Caroline also took great care of my place, and I am overall very happy and can't wait to have Caroline stay with my cat again.

Casey is amazing! He is so kind, patient, and attentive to all of Tira’s special needs and quirks. He took extra attention and care to getting to know Tira and make her comfortable while we were gone. We really appreciated Casey coming over prior to taking care of Tira and meeting her.

I had to leave town last minute and Alanna was able to quickly confirm and help take care of my sweet kitty with hours notice! Alanna was very communicative and sent lots of updates and pictures. I am looking forward to booking with Alanna again in the future.

Caroline might be the best pet sitter that we have ever had, including our children. She was in regular contact. Sent really cute pictures and took excellent care of our fur babies. They love her. No question that we will use her going forward!

Amanda is honest, trustworthy and she takes great care of my dog Speedy. I consider her my go to housesitter when I travel. The house looks great when she leaves and my pup is happy. Don't hesitate to hire Amanda.

Bryan was excellent looking after our two dogs and two cats. He was great at communicating with us before and during the house sitting period and took great care of our animals. Even when our power went out for 24 hours due to a region-wide blackout he made sure to look after the dogs and keep them safe and happy. We came home to happy cats and dogs, a clean house and all was good! We'll definitely be using Bryan again!

Lauri is awesome! She was supposed to stay at our place to take care of our cat Oliver while we were away for the weekend, but Oliver had a health issue just before our trip and needed a little surgery. Lauri was super available and flexible while we tried to figure out what to do (and it was a lot of messages and late decisions on my end). She stayed with Oliver and took such good care of him, petting him, brushing him, helping him eat and move around,... Thank you so much, Lauri! We are so grateful!

Brittany did a terrific job sitting at our home with our eight month old goldendoodle puppy, Phoebe. The sitter which we had regularly been using unexpectedly canceled on us, an hour before my wife and I were due to leave for an important social engagement, because the sitter's grandmother had passed away. My wife told me to go immediately on rover.com as she'd heard about it, I did, saw varying prices and people who were closer to our home location rather than farther away, communicated with Brittany via the site as I thought she would be a a good choice both as to the fee and nearness to our home as this was kind of an urgent last minute thing and we only had about an hour to solve the problem and get a sitter. She communicated back clearly that she could do it, she showed up promptly, a really pleasant and nice person, and Phoebe had a great time with her from everything we can tell, and well worth the charge, especially on such short notice. As we told her, we would definitely use her again. That's why I gave her five stars!

Alia sent me frequent updates and asked lots of good questions, which demonstrates her dedication to treating my dog exactly as I do! Alia did a home stay and treated my house respectfully. She is very patient with my anxious dog. Suki says thank you!!!

Erin did a fantastic job of caring for my home and pets while I was away for 4 days. I came home to two very relaxed and happy pets and she was very good about checking in and communicating. f

Felix was a fantastic pet sitter. It was our cat’s first time being sat and Felix went above and beyond to make him feel loved and comfortable. We received many photo and video updates every day and Felix was quick to respond.
