Dog Boarding in Sherwood Forest

Vinny had a great sleepover was well cared for & made some new friends while I had surgery. With Vinny still recovering from his surgery last week it was nice to have a safe place for him while I had surgery & needed to focus on me for a minute. Apparently he had very good manners while he was away from home. 😁🥰💞

In November 2020, we lost our beautiful dog, Coco. So, in December, my husband starting looking for another dog and contacted Foothill Dog Rescue. There were two dogs we wanted to meet and went to look at one dog that was being fostered at Grant's house. Although we didn't adopt that dog, we adopted another dog, Gracie (previously known by her FDR name, "Hammerhead", who had been fostered at Grant's place in August 2020. Meeting Grant (and his lovely wife!) on that first visit and then, we had a subsequent visit later that spring, we were impressed with Grant's passion to foster and board dogs and looked for an opportunity to board Gracie at their property. That opportunity arose on July 23-25, 2021. Gracie had a wonderful time and played with Grant's three dogs and the two Great Danes he was boarding. When I went to pick Gracie up, I could tell she didn't want to leave, it was a testament to how well cared for and how much fun she had. When we left, I was heartened to hear that Grant said he enjoyed it when dogs he had previously fostered came back for a visit. Knowing that Grant had previously fostered Gracie makes me feel like she had a family before we adopted her and that connection still continues today. Grant has truly found his calling and brings joy to the dogs he cares for and peace of mind to the pet owners who use his services. I appreciated the texts, videos and photos that Grant sent. It was great knowing/seeing that Gracie was having fun and was well cared for. I will certainly use Grant's services again. This is a true success story! Thank you!

Aron did great with our big girl for 10 days! Our lab Cona corso was taken care of the way she needed to be. I like that land he has for her to run and the solsalisation she gets with other dogs is good for her. Highly recommend the man loves dogs and it shows that what counts to us.

I am so grateful to have found Linda and her husband. They are incredibly kind and engaged dog-sitters, and their property is a wonderland for pups. I could tell Blue felt right at home when we arrived and he started playing with the other pups, and he was a relaxed and tired boy when we picked him up. I would highly recommend Linda for boarding!

Amanda was incredible and absolutely saved us on a trip where the place we were staying unexpectedly didn’t allow dogs. She was incredibly communicative, sent us constant updates of our pup playing and truly treated her like one of her own. Cannot recommend more highly. If we ever need a dog sitter in Auburn we will be using her again without a doubt!

I am very thankful to have had my dog stay with Kandra. Her home and yard were obviously well set up to take care of dogs, and she seemed very happy to be around other pups!! Will absolutely be a returning customer!

Loved Debra’s home! There is a large yard with a creek for pups to play in. Unfenced driveway area so dogs are leashed when outside and on walks. I gave Debra permission to take mine off lead while in the more private back area. I’m sure she had a great time. Debra’s Luna is a sweet companion pup. Debra sent pictures each day - it appeared a good time was had by all!

Alesya took exceptional care of my dog Taylor while we were away. She sent me any pictures and videos of her living her best life. She loves to go visit Aleysa and her boys and I imagine she thinks it is a vacation 😎

Amanda was very accommodating and flexible! It was our first time leaving Oso alone with anybody but Amanda and her family made sure he felt at home. We Would definitely let Oso come back! Thank you 😊

Kelsey was amazing!! We had recently adopted our dog from a shelter and were super sad to find out he could not accompany us on a vacation we had planned out months prior. Found Kelsey’s profile and amazing reviews which drew us to her, and she did not disappoint!! Our dog was happy, well cared for and had a blast the entire time we were away. She also sent us pics of our pup throughout the weekend so we didn’t have to miss him or worry too much. Will definitely book with her again in the future!! We had a great experience using Jane as an overnight sitter for our dog Charlie! Jane was very accommodating to our changing needs with Charlie, since he had an unexpected minor surgery five days before our trip. She kept in touch and Charlie was calm and happy when we picked him up. We highly recommend Jane and will use her again on our next visit.

Very great experience. Was our first time boarding dogs. Was very surprised when she saw the big German shepherd and handle them with ease and treated them like they were her own dogs. I am very grateful I found Samantha.

Jena and her family were fabulous. They have a nice house with a wonderful and secure backyard. My dogs love their two children. I feel really secure leaving my dogs with them. They are now my go to Rover sitters.

Pam is wonderful! It was my pups first overnight stay with anyone aside from myself. I checked in with her once during this day to see how things were going and she was very responsive and reassuring. We’ve already booked for November! Pam is great!

Our dog seems happy and Nina was great at sending updates with pictures. They have a big 7 acre land with water body so dogs can have fun. They have a few doggos at home so our dog had company. Nina went out of her way to keep dog next to her at night, sweet gesture. Not sure how it will be in winter but I think we found a new home for our dog.

Lelie was wonderful with my sweet little Alfie! He is generally a happy little dog, but overly attached to me. So it was nice that he seemed so happy to be at Leslie's beautiful home in Grass Valley. I highly recommend her!

Kristine and Joe took great care of our senior Pug on his short stay with them. So happy to have found them and look forward to using them again!
