Dog Boarding in Shingle Springs

Alexa is just wonderful-- so kind, thoughtful, and responsible-- and such a dog whisperer. My dog is such a nervous (and opinionated) little guy; yet, he was entirely content and comfortable with Alexa. She followed all of my (detailed) instructions, sent tons of updates to put my mind at ease, and went out of her way to make my pup comfortable, catering to all of his quirks. Alexa genuinely loves dogs and is such a caring and genuine person. I recommend her highly, with no reservation.

My dog seemed to have really enjoyed the stay. Michelle was great with him from the get go and sent us pictures and videos to share how he was doing. I am definitely going to go back next time we are out of town.

Patti and her husband took great care of our two Yorkies. They shared pictures of our babies while we were gone and stayed in good communication. When I went to pick them up, both Patti and her husband had many great stories of their time watching the dogs.

Blair truly loves animals and it is apparent in the way he interacts with them. He sent us pictures often during the stay and provided updates on all their activities. We would love to have our dog stay with Blair than with any other Rover. I highly recommend Blair who is careful not to book dogs that due to size and/or temperament should not be together. Their safety and comfort is his main concern, and we truly appreciate him for that.

We used Matt for the first time and Rover for the first time as well. We were concerned about our 2-year-old Frenchie as she has never been out of our site and has separation anxiety. Matt met with us ahead of time to make sure that he was comfortable with our rambunctious Frenchie. Matt has the perfect backyard and as soon as we arrived our Frenchie was zooming around the backyard liked she lived there all along. Matt sent us pictures and gave me updates during our 4 day get away, which kept us at ease and we knew our Frenchie was being cared for exceptionally well the entire time. Matt is a super nice guy with a love for dogs. Very agreeable, communicative and professional. We knew our Frenchie was very well cared for and she was very happy when I picked her up. I can't recommend Matt enough; any pet would be lucky to have him as their caretaker. I highly recommend Matt and will definitely re-book on all future get away’s out of town. Matt receives 5 out of 5 stars from us!!!

First stay for our boy and will 100% be using her from now on. Daily updates and pics. She walked him everyday which he loves and put up with his ball throwing obsession He wasn’t that excited to leave so I knew he was happy and loved in while there.

Elaine was just who we've been looking for. She's very warm, caring and easy to communicate with. I was so happy to see how she took to Sophie right away. This was the first time leaving her that I wasn't nervous. Sophie said she loved it, too!

Our dog had a great time with several of Irina's regulars. She sent regular updates and photos, and told us how our dog was getting along with the other dogs. She procoded a lot of exercise and socialization which he loved. He came home happy and tired. We will definitely contact Irina again

Leo had such a wonderful time! Love that all the pups have so much space to roam and play fetch! Shelly was great! We felt like our boy was in good hands!

Sara responded quickly and has great communication! She was so nice and so helpful for us, even with short notice. My puppy LOVED going over to hangout with her for the day and came back home so tired from having so much fun playing. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Sara!

We are very happy with Siyao and her care of Cuddles all day on June 7th! She provided numerous updates throughout the day, along with videos and photos. As a senior 15 year old dog, Cuddles is not away from home and with others very often anymore, so we are pleased with her attention and care. We highly recommend Siyao!

Sharon and Albert made me feel so relaxed about boarding my dog for the first time! You truly feel that they love dogs and they have the perfect setup for them to run around! I got so many cute pictures and never once felt nervous or uncomfortable! They are fantastic people and I will 100% be coming to them for any future dog sitting!

Sunny loved his stay at Michelle's house! He got so much attention and had plenty of room to run around and play. Michelle and her husband took great care of him and we will definitely be back again.

Excellent experience! I left my pup overnight with Derek and Leslie and they were fantastic. I received photos periodically from them about how he was doing. It sounds like the dog really enjoyed playing with the kids and and all the attention he received. I would definitely use them again.

Thanks Jennifer! It’s always so hard to leave my boy, Stuart, yet he loves staying with you and your family. It was obvious from your photos that he felt quite at home playing and snuggling with your kids, and exploring your lovely neighborhood on walks.

Ruchi and Nitin took excellent care of my precious Maggie. They gave me frequent updates of her relaxing, playing, and taking walks. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
