Dog Boarding in Sun Valley

Such a sweet and kind family! They took such good care of our Aussie, and kept us updated with lots of photos and videos. She can be a little nervous, but they made sure she was cozy and comfortable the whole time. By far the best sitter we’ve ever found! We’ll book with them everytime. We started with a meet and greet with Lizet - we ended up meeting her fiancé, her Dad, and her two dogs. All of whom were great! Everyone did exactly the right thing when meeting new people/animals! LOL. It all went smoothly. Fast forward a week or two and we dropped Rocket off for an overnight. Lizet handled him well and knew how to deal with his collar and harness (the latter you would be surprised how many people can't figure out!). She ensured he got all his pills and sent pics/videos even though it was just 24 hours. She really seemed to care about him - which we love! Thanks Lizet!

This was our first time leaving Luna with someone outside of family, and Kenzie was incredible! She met us beforehand, and Luna loved her right away. We were so impressed by her setup — a cozy home with a great backyard for the dogs to play and socialize. Kenzie’s experience and care really showed. She sent tons of photos and videos all weekend, which made it so easy to relax knowing Luna was happy, safe, and having fun. We’ll definitely be using Kenzie again and recommending her to all our dog-owner friends! 🐶♥️

Christine and Alejandro were extremely gracious hosts. Very accommodating to my big dog, sent the perfect amount of updates, and were overall very kind.

Marcelo and his wife took wonderful care of my puppy. They followed all the rules and schedule I provided, and they were very gentle and attentive. They also sent photos and updates throughout the day, which made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend them!

Caroline was such a great sitter for our dog Seno! This was our first time using a dog sitter beyond a friend or a family member (and first time using Rover) and it was time to find someone local for additional help. Our booking was a bit last minute and Caroline was easy to get in touch with about questions and setting up a meet and greet. Caroline put us at ease with photo updates and recaps at least twice a day. She made Seno comfortable and gave him all the cuddles while we were away and he seemed to have a great time! Cherry on top was getting an adorable drawing of Seno when we picked him up. :)

We love Sandi! Rain or shine her home is our pupps second home. They love Auntie Sandi. She is the best. We look forward to seeing you again :)

She’s a great dog sitter. Sends pictures daily or every other day, send updates, & knows about all breeds. My puppy didn’t even notice me when she was bringing him to my car, he was so comfortable and thought he was just using the bathroom before they went back inside. Lol. Will book again 😁

We had a very positive experience with Louella. She was very communicative and took really great care of Oslo and provided regular updates. He seemed to have a great time with her. She will definitely be our go to sitter in the future. Highly recommend!

Alison and Matt took great care of Panko! Communication was great and Panko looked like he had a great time. The large yard and quiet neighborhood are a big bonus too.

Bernadette was kind, professional and a comforting pleasure to leave my fur baby with. I was able to travel and feel at ease that she was in good hands. We will definitely be returning. And most definitely would recommend her to others! Thanx again B!

This is the second time Stella stays with Yuliya. Yuliya is very communicative and provides daily updates and photos. When Stella was eating poorly, Yuliya bought her a different food and hand fed her to make sure Stella is getting her nutrients for the day.

Sean was awesome with Archie! Gave me updates and always answered when I asked him how my furbaby was doing. Will definitely be bringing him back again. Thanks again Sean!

Brenda was extremely kind and took wonderful care of my two small fur babies. They had never been away from home and I was very worried leaving them anywhere. Brenda was patient and followed tru with all my my requests with each pup. She hand fed when needed, walks were timely, playtime; even let them stay in her room because they dont like to be left alone. She was very responsive and sent pics tru out the 4 day stay. I felt so much relief and at ease, and will definitely use her services again. And what better feeling than when my babies saw her and both ran to her happily wiggling and trying to jump and snuggle with her. Thank you so much Brenda!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I had the absolute pleasure of having the AMAZING Erika and Ken watch my Carl, and it was amazing, both for him and me. I am going to preface that Carl is a high energy rescue dog that comes from a very specific behaviorist training, with a full list of specific commands and rules. I had an impromptu trip on a weekend and the normal behaviorist was unavailable to watch Carl. I reached out to Erika and Ken after seeing some great reviews. They were open for a home visit before we committed and I would always recommend making sure it's a fit with any sitter and dog. Carl took them immediately, so I knew this would be the best place for him. I was very specific with Carl's commands with them, even sending them the list and giving them a quick download in person of how it all works, and I will say they handled it all SUPERBLY. They even printed the list themselves to be prepared! Carl had an amazing weekend with them. They kept me in constant communication, and sent photos and videos all weekend which was appreciated, and when I checked in, was never left in the dark for more than a short period of time. These are incredibly sweet people that Carl adored, and I would HIGHLY recommend for any type of dog to stay there. I would definitely use them again when the time comes.

Erin was an absolutely wonderful caretaker for our sweet boy on our week long trip. This was the longest we have left our pup since we have had him and we could not have asked for a better experience. Erin was highly communicative and attentive to Hawthorne. She took note of all behaviors and kept us in the loop and informed. She has a beautiful home and we came back to a very happy boy. We would 100% use Erin again in the future and would gladly recommend her to anyone needing boarding for their own pup.

We had a last-minute trip come up and needed someone reliable to watch our 7-month-old Doberman puppy for six nights. This was not only our first time using Rover but also our puppy’s first time staying in a new environment, so we wanted to make sure he was in great hands—and James definitely delivered! We provided everything our puppy needed, including his food, treats, and crate, and James followed our instructions while keeping us updated daily. As new dog parents, it was reassuring to receive consistent updates and know our pup was in good care. While I’m sure our puppy experienced some separation anxiety, he was just fine when we picked him up. Overall, this was a great experience, and we truly appreciate James for taking such good care of our pup for nearly a week. We’d definitely recommend him to others looking for a responsible and attentive sitter!
