Dog Boarding in Tahoe City

Kym was so wonderful and took such good care of Belly! She was very communicative and flexible and shared tons of photos and videos! We felt super comfortable leaving belly with her :)

Melissa was so loving and caring with my little dog. She even brushed him and made him look so handsome. Sherman came home happy and healthy.

I just picked up Sunny from Kathy’s and i am so happy with the care & love she gave to our sweet pup. Sunny stayed with Kathy 4 nights and it was perfect for Sunny. Kathy has a beautiful inviting home that she welcomed us into to make sure we felt comfortable with leaving Sunny with her. I highly recommend Kathy’s services and will be using her in the future. Raluca was so kind and amazing and we felt so safe leaving our senior pup with her while we explored Lake Tahoe. Murray had the best time going on walks, playing toys, and getting lots of pets. I am so thankful that we found someone to love on our baby like he was her own. Thank you again!!!!

I’m afraid to say too many nice things as their schedule may fill up & there are so many nice things to say I don’t even know where to begin! Just AWESOME! Thanks you three!

Scott was great. From the moment I dropped-off my dog, I knew he was in good hands. First off, my dog Leroy is 100-pounds of knuckle-walking muscle. Lots of people (inc. past sitters) are shocked & a little terrified by his appearance; Scott was NOT. He let Leroy run right into his home and let him sniff and explore to his heart's content. When I told Scott that Leroy usually sleeps in bed with me, he said "Great! Leroy will do the same here". And when Leroy let out an explosion of watery poop in Scott's garden, Scott was entirely unfazed. He said "rice & chicken for dinner? is that okay?" Of course it was okay. It was exactly what I would do. Ultimately, i told Scott to treat Leroy like he treats his own dog Brea & I'm pretty sure he did just that.

The best! Laura is a great communicator and was very flexible when our plans changed. Ollie loved his play-date her pups as well. Highly recommend!

Melanie took fantastic care of my pup Steve! You can tell that she truly loves dogs and cares deeply about them. She sent pictures and video of him playing happily in her large property, it was so nice to know he was having a great time. Sometimes when I’ve picked Steve up after boarding from other sitters I could tell that he was happy to leave, but in this case it was clear that he really likes Melanie and had a blast. He came back so happy and SO TIRED! He slept like a stone for the rest of the day! Melanie has great communication and was very flexible with pickup and drop off. I highly recommend Melanie and we will definitely be seeing her again!

Sophia was an amazing dogsitter for Teddy Pom Pom and he loved her from the moment they met. He even chose to sleep on the pillow next to her. I was a little nervous leaving him with someone new for the first time, but she kept me updated and send photos and put my mind at rest. Sophia definitely has the magic that dogs love and I 100% recommend her. She was kind and considerate and even dropped my dog home in the rain the next morning. When I got him back he was happy and balanced and content. Thank you Sophia for being so caring, and such a good communicator.

Absolutely awesome! Our Corgi was not only well cared for but you could tell she was loved! She didn’t want to leave! Kind, courteous and caring! Highly recommended!

I was a little apprehensive about leaving my puppy with a stranger. She has been boarded overnight twice before. This was my first time leaving my puppy with a family instead of a dog daycare boarding facility. All my worries were needless and my one-year-old Puppy had a great time. Aaron and Nicole have 2 adorable kids and my puppy was well taken care of.

This is Betty’s second stay with Susan and her family, and they continue to exceed expectations. I can tell Betty feels right at home and we are getting consistent updates throughout the stay. Very happy to have someone as thoughtful as Susan to take care of her!

Once again, I’m happy to say that George (our dog) had a wonderful stay with Gabriel over the weekend. I would definitely recommend Gabriel’s good nature and welcoming environment for anyone looking for pet sitting.

Judy is a lovely, warm person and we were immediately comfortable leaving our (higher strung) older dog, Willow, with her for a weekend stay. Drop-off was super easy and Judy had gone out of her way to make sure that Willow would have a relaxing first day. Judy was very communicative while we were away, sending pictures and updates, and very accommodating where our schedule was concerned. Bud, Judy's dog, is a higher energy younger dog (very sweet and goofy) and Judy was totally responsive when Willow made it clear she needed some alone time, separating the two without hesitation. We can tell Willow had a good stay and would recommend Judy to anyone.

We've booked Jack multiple times to pet sit our mini labradoodle Wally and he's great!

The thought of boarding my 2 senior havanese for 4 nights while we vacation gave me major anxiety that I almost canceled our trip. "What if they get depressed and don't eat? Will they be safe around other dogs?" As soon as we met Patty and her 3 furbabies, all my worries disappeared and I knew Julian and Elsie would be well taken care of. Patty genuinely cares about dogs and treat all her doggie guests as her own. As I predicted, Julian went on a hunger strike - but Patty and Randy got him to eat with the help of steak and then chicken mixed in with dog food. Patty also had a report on each dog with her observations during their time with her - clearly she pays attention to each doggie guest. I wouldn't hesitate to leave my babies with Patty and Randy again - in fact I wish we lived closer to their home so that my dogs can stay with them every time we travel. I know their home will be my dogs' "home away from home."
