House Sitting in West Menlo Park

Ian did a terrific job. In addition to feeding and litter box care, etc, they spent lots of social time with our two cats, sending photos to us, and kept us apprised of how things were going. And on top if it, they cleaned sheets, towels and vacuumed with a Hoover vacuum they fixed! We would certainly look to them for our future cat care needs.

Amara was a fantastic pet sitter for my chihuahua -- right away my dog felt comfortable with her. Amara is responsible, attentive to the needs of my dog and my requests around her care. She sent me photos and videos of Gigi and kept me informed on how she was doing. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again.

Brittany immediately gained the affection of one of our cats and was very patient and gentle enough to gain the affection of cat number 2, who is suspicious of new people. Brittany left the house very clean and well cared for.

Shalese, as always, was absolutely wonderful with my GSD, Izzy! She showed up promptly, ensured Izzy was constantly well tended to and even stayed later than her end time when I was running late at work. Thank you, Shalese!

Barbara did an excellent job looking after our cat Leo while we were away. She sent regular updates and even helped Leo through an ant invasion!

Stephen did a fantastic job dog sitting Rhys. He was very thorough and left detailed notes. We were in constant communication on how our boy was doing and he was willing to accommodate our dogs specific needs which I really appreciate.

Julie Mae is the best! My pup is so excited to see her, full body wags and dolphin jumps just at the sight of her coming up the walk. She takes wonderful care of Mycroft, letting her get her energy out or just nap, depending what she needs that day. Mycroft always comes out of a day with Juke Mae happy, tired, and better behaved—whether that be walking more calmly in her leash or obeying her commands more consistently. I highly recommend Julie Mae, and I’ll keep calling her whenever we need a sitter.

Ciara provided great care for my dog in my home, while I was on a long travel vacation. She communicates well and regularly sent me notes and pictures via the Rover app. She also asked appropriate questions for information about my dog regarding behavior issues and situations as they came up. It was raining a lot of the time, and she met the challenge of exercising my dog and keeping her happy in spite of the wet weather. Ciara took direction and suggestions I provided with a positive attitude and took initiative to report back to me on outcomes and how things were going. Ciara also appropriately handled a home repair situation that came up, with my help/advice from a distance. She took good care of my house plants, collected my mail, and was proficient in general cleaning and routine house maintenance. Taking my dog to the vet for nails trimming, giving routine oral medication, and other care tasks were completed on schedule. I’ve found Ciara to be very reliable, conscientious, and trustworthy. She’s also very nice and easy to communicate with; I would definitely hire her again. An overall excellent caregiver!

Kimberly was utterly conscientious, contacting me daily with updates on the pets and photos (when she could get them – my cats are a bit elusive). She took great care of my house, watering the plants and bringing in the mail daily. She cares about her clients (both human and feline). I highly recommend her!

Jeannette was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I returned home to a happy dog and a tidy home, with lots of great pictures sent while I was away.

We booked CJ for a week to house-sit and watch our 15 month old shepherd pup. Though she still acts like a puppy, Kiki is 75 pounds, and can be a handful! CJ did great with her, and from the many pictures he sent us while we were on vacation, we could tell that she loved him. CJ is a great communicator. While we were gone, we got two pictures/updates a day, and CJ also worked a little on obedience with Kiki. He also worked on getting her to actually retrieve frisbees consistently… Well, that’s a work in progress! All in all, we loved CJ, and will gladly book him for another vacation.

I was in an emergency situation and Trina watched my handsome Rottweiler. We did a meet and greet and he took to her right away. He’s a mama boy but by the last night of the stay, he was sleeping with her. She was great with reporting any concerns and the house was very clean when we returned. She also washed the linens. I will definitely book her again

Kate was outstanding! She took great care of our mini goldendoodle while we were away, taking him for many walks and also helping to train him. She was very responsive and sent multiple daily photos and videos which we loved! She went above and beyond by taking out trash, doing dishes, laundry, and left the house in pristine condition. I would highly recommend Kate and look forward to hopefully being able to use her again for an upcoming trip!
