House Sitting in West Sacramento

Natalie was absolutely amazing!! She sent me pictures and kept me updated on everything! I felt so relieved that someone so special was home with my doggo. I am so so appreciative and would book with her over and over again! She also left the sweetest custom card for when I got home. It was so special! Natalie- you are amazing!!

Holly always loves our pets (2 cats, 1 dog) as if they were her own. Holly is great at communicating with us, and we can leave town knowing that they’re in the best hands. That peace of mind is worth so much— particularly because two of our pets have medical needs. Thank you so much, Holly!

Dustin did a great job house sitting for us for the day. I appreciate you hanging out with our two dogs and cat while we were gone. Dustin is a very kind soul and made us and our pets all feel at ease. I will rebook with Dustin again in the future.

It was my daughter's wedding and all our usual cat sitters were attending, so I was in a bit of a panic trying to find someone we could trust on short notice. I was very anxious about having a stranger in our home, especially since our cat is truly part of our family, but I am so glad we found Sabrina through Rover. She went above and beyond to make us feel at ease, sending regular updates, photos, and videos throughout the weekend. It made such a difference knowing our cat was in caring hands, and her thoughtful communication helped me relax and actually enjoy the wedding! Our cat can be particular, but she warmed up quickly to Sabrina, which speaks volumes. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitty and a tidy home. Janessa was really great! She sent me updates all the time and pictures The animals loved her! Even my shy cat came out and said hello. She has a really wonderful personality that you feel super comfortable with her. She took really great care of my house as well I highly recommend her. I would use her again. Hopefully I go on another vacation soon!

Danni was great with our two huskies! Another sitter canceled last-minute due to an emergency, but we are honestly so happy that we found Danni. She very quickly scheduled a meet and greet, during which she asked very thoughtful questions about caring for our dogs and home. Despite the panic of the last-minute cancellation from our other sitter, we felt so comfortable with having Danni take care of our dogs! She kept us updated throughout our trip and left our home spotless. Most importantly, it was obvious that Danni has exceptional experience with reading dog body language, as one of our huskies is very leash-reactive and Danni handled her like a pro (no issues)! We’d definitely book with Danni again!

Brenna was a fabulous sitter for our dog and cat. She was very communicative and checked in at least twice per day to provide updates and photos. She was also able to spend most of her time at our house, which is exactly what we were looking for in a sitter. We highly recommend Brenna, and would happily hire her again.

Joel looked after Loki for a month while we were overseas. As always, he did a great job. Loki was happy, relaxed and well cared for. Joel sent us regular photo and video updates, which is so important to us. We worry if we don't see Loki every couple of days! Our home was clean and tidy on our return. We had a tortuous time flying home, canceled and delayed flights, so we were home later than expected, Joel was great, he stayed on until we arrived home, we were so grateful for his flexibility. It was very late when we arrived home, Joel remained calm and professional. He comes to stay with Loki again next month!

Matthew was a savior in helping us on short notice. He was on time, communicative, and gave regular updates on how things were going.

Mario was great, our dog loved him. Mario send us pictures and videos through out the time he was pet sitting. We will definitely be using Mario again.

Olivia was absolutely amazing! She stayed over at my home for a house sitting/dual dog sitting long weekend and I cannot recommend her enough! She sent pictures of my pups and gave me plenty of updated! She was great!

Odin seemed very content while he was with Kaitlyn. Updates were timely and consistent. Weather didn’t permit walks but hopefully next time! Thanks Kaitlyn.

Jacob was fantastic as always! He is so detail oriented. On this particular stay, he noticed that I had new dish brushes and reached out to confirm which one he should use to wash the pet dishes.

We were lucky to have Christina as our first Rover pet sitter! She was kind, communicative, and showed lots of love to our pets while we were away. We ended up needing to come home a day early and Christina had tidied up and washed the guest sheets despite the short notice (not expected on our part, but thoughtful!). She also took the time to water my plants which would have certainly died in the 100+ weather. We will definitely request Christina again in the future and feel very comfortable with her housesitting and caring for our pets.

Jenna was an amazing sitter for our senior kitty. She was genuinely kind, carrying, and great providing kitty updates. We felt secure that our fur baby was being cared for. My husband and I highly recommend her!

Roy is a fantastic dog sitter, who takes excellent care of my dog. I appreciate all of the updates and pictures he sends. I never have to worry about my dog because I know he is in good hands!
