Dog Boarding in Idaho Springs

As a new puppy mom, I’m always nervous to leave my dog somewhere new. My dog is very shy and has had a rough first six months of life as a rescue. It took her at least 3-4 times of doggie daycare to warm up. But, the minute we walked into Mitzi’s backyard she was immediately at ease and warmed up to their dogs, and was running and playing within minutes. Her massive backyard is like Disneyland for dogs! Drop off was a breeze and the daily pics made me miss her, but she looked so happy in them I wasn’t worried at all. And Mitzi was super flexible when I had flight issues and was a bit late for pickup. We will definitely be back!

Teddy had a great time! Missy sent photos daily with updates. We felt good knowing he was cared for so well by the family and got to play with their dog, Bill. Great experience and really nice family.

We loved having Nicole and Craig watch our two little dachshunds. They sent so many cute pictures and updates, and it was clear that Hank and Truffle loved their time there. We already have another stay for them on the books, and it’s a big relief knowing the dogs will be cared for so well in their home. Thank you so much!

My dogs had a great time with Delane! They were well cared for and looked very happy in the photos that she regularly sent. Definitely planning on using Delane again!

She was great on Short notice due to funeral. Loki played hard with the other dogs and came home worn out! Thank you so much for helping us in our time of need!

Sue & Jane were fantastic! They really cared for our pup and provided lots of updates. Our flight back was unfortunately delayed so we had to change plans last minute and they were incredibly accommodating and understanding. We will definitely rebook with them!

Our experience with Robyn was wonderful! This was the first time we’ve used a dog sitter and she made us feel confident and comfortable that Daisy would have the best of care and Daisy agreed. When we got home Daisy was calm, relaxed and taking a nap. Robyn sent us pics. of Daisy having fun and when Robyn left Daisy kept looking for her new friend. I highly recommend Robyn and will use her again!!

Stephen and his family were phenomenal. Very communicative, caring and especially loving to Chuck. Very thankful they were able to watch Chuck and I will definitely be booking them again!

My pup’s stay with Ellyn was seamless. Ellyn’s daily updates and photos kept me up to speed on how well the stay was going and how my pup was enjoying his walks, playtime and naptime. I also appreciate Ellyn’s focus on the safety of the pups she cares for.

What a great experience! We contacted Ryan very last minute for boarding at his home. He even took our dog over Christmas! Ryan is incredibly friendly, professional and kind. He responded quickly to our initial request and sent numerous photos and quick updates, He clearly loves dogs! (I am not sure who had more fun on our vacation, the humans or our pup!) From playing with other dogs in the snow and running off leash in a safe environment, to getting to ride shotgun in Ryan’s truck, our dog had the best time! Thank you Ryan for a great stay!

Paul accepted my request for boarding on short notice and did a wonderful job caring for my animal. The back yard is amazing for animals, and Paul and his spouse are clearly dog people who care about animals. Will definitely use him again

Fred and Kim were amazing. They took such great care of Jeronimo. I really appreciated all of the photos and updates they sent me. He seemed really happy with them. I will definitely be looking to them to book again.

Eric and Kim were awesome! I got plenty of photos and videos to put my mind at ease. I know she was fed properly and well taken care of. Would definitely use them again next time I leave town!

Max was very happy with Shanik and her pack! I think he could tell he was in a warm & friendly environment right away. I recommend her! She was great about sending us pictures and reports about how Max was adapting. Those greatly eased our minds. Letha Cole

Melinda is awesome! She takes great care of Fenway when we are out of town. She updates us with pictures and videos and is always very quick to respond.

This was our first time using Rover -- and leaving our pup with anyone overnight. He has pretty bad separation anxiety, so I was nervous about leaving him, but Kari went out of her way to make me feel at ease, and sent lots of pics. It looks like he had a blast and definitely warmed up to Kari and even slept in her bed!

Lynn & John are the absolute BEST dog sitters I have ever had! We would take our dog back to them in a heartbeat! They took such good care of our sweet Bo and sent us several pictures every day we were gone! I wish they were available ALL the time, because I would honestly never send my dog to anyone else, if that were an option. 😊 Thank-you so much Lynn & John for taking such great care of our sweet baby Bo. Hope to see you again sometime soon, when you have availability. We can’t thank-you enough. You two are absolutely lovely people.
