Dog Boarding in Johnstown

We cannot recommend Kyle and Desiree enough! They watched our two dogs for over two weeks while we took a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan, and they made all the difference in our ability to truly enjoy that experience. Thanks to their amazing care, we didn’t have a single worry about our dogs while we were so far away. From the moment we met them, it was clear that Kyle and Desiree treat every dog like family, and they truly went above and beyond for ours. They sent us so many adorable pictures and videos throughout our trip, and it brought us so much joy and reassurance to see our dogs so happy and having fun. Our very independent German Shepherd surprised us by cuddling up with their daughters more than he’s ever willingly cuddled with us, which made us so happy to see him so comfortable. Honestly, we started to suspect our dogs might not have even wanted to come home after having such a wonderful time with them. 😊 To top it off, our yellow Lab celebrated his 9th birthday while we were away, and Kyle and Desiree didn’t miss a beat. They made the day special with treats, decorations, and new toys, which completely melted our hearts. The fact that they cared enough to do the silly little things we would’ve done ourselves meant the world to us. Kyle and Desiree are truly the best dog sitters we could have ever asked for, and we’re so grateful to have found a family our dogs adore so much. Knowing they are in such good hands gives us so much peace of mind for future trips. (Also, apologies for the late review—jet lag had my brain scrambled for a bit after we got back!). Miranda and Austin watched my two dogs for 5 days and nights. I had never left my dogs with someone they didn't know before and they had no issues staying with Miranda and Austin. I got lots of updates and you could tell they took the time to get my more skittish dog comfortable. I recommend leaving your dogs with them and will likely use them again.

Heather was great with our dog Walle! I appreciate her attentiveness on what would make his stay as comfortable as can be, and how flexible she was. She sent photos and a video during his stay and Walle had such an enjoyable time socializing with other dogs. All of these aspects made me feel at ease with going on vacation. I recommend Heather and would like to use her the next time we need someone to care for Walle!

Stanley and Sharon were absolutely the best with our pups! Not only did they take them for long walks every day, play with them in the backyard, give them affection, and feed and house them, they genuinely cared about them. They LOVE dogs and are good people. They sent beautiful photos with updates daily. We would not only leave our dogs with them again, we would leave our kids too if they’d take them! They may not be a good fit for people who don’t want their dogs to be spoiled with love, treats, and attention! ;)

Christina and Nico are the BEST. Not only were my 3 dogs completely happy the entire time they stayed with them (over 2 weeks), but Christina was so good about keeping me up to date on how they were doing so that I was able to enjoy my travel and not ever worry about my furry family. I am so grateful!!!

Leslie is absolutely amazing, we have a 15yr old American Eskimo that is literally our child. My wife is very attached and we have a hard time leaving her with even friends and family to watch. Leslie went above and beyond making us feel comfortable and she took amazing care of Zoey to the point where Zoe wasn't ready to leave which is really rare (Zoe is as attached to my wife as my wife is to her) she even ate while she was at Leslie's and that never happens. THANK YOU SO MUCH LESLIE we will see you again next trip

Darcy was great with our dog and really took his well-being into consideration. He seemed very happy when we picked him up! I will definitely reach out to Darcy again!

Jessica did an incredible job watching my dog, Gunner! From the moment I dropped him off, I could tell he was in great hands. She provided him with plenty of love, attention, and exercise, keeping him happy and engaged throughout his stay. Gunner came home looking healthy and content, and it's clear that he absolutely adored his time with her. I couldn't be more pleased with her dedication and care; I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!

Dana lived up to her 5 star rating. She was very patient with me since I was a first time Rover user. She provided extra treats for Ollie at her cost. She send me pictures and updates each day. Dana has a cute dog also named Ollie so it provided her with additional challenge. I plan on using her for all my dog sitting needs.

Laurel was awesome! I was nervous to leave my babies at someone’s house I didn’t know. However, all of my worries went away as soon as I pulled up and saw Laurel and her family. I interviewed many dog sitters in the area on River and Laurel was by far the best. My dogs had so much fun and she took great care of them. She truly loved them like her own and they were so happy when I picked them up. I am so grateful I found her and she will always be my first choice when I need to leave town. I have very high standards and expectations and she exceeded them. 10 out of 10 stars!

Hillary was so amazing with our pup, who so far has had some bad experiences with boarding. Hillary kept in contact to let me know our girl was doing great and she sent photos. It was a relief to know she was in such good hands while we were on vacation! Our Tikka was happy and healthy and smelled great when we picked her up. She got along well with Hillary’s small dogs, and I was a little worried she might not want to leave when we went to get her! Hillary and her family will for sure be my first choice any time we need to leave our pup again!

Andrea was wonderful in the meet and greet process and for our dog's first overnight stay with her! We are so thankful to have found her, and look forward to bringing our dog back for another stay soon!

Carrie was awesome caring for both our girl pretzel and boy sully while we went on our four day trip to Tennessee . She updated us with lots of pictures each day while we were gone . Would recommend to anyone! Thanks again Carrie !

Noah and his family were absolutely wonderful pet sitters for our dog! I didn’t have any nerves or concerns leaving her with them! I received so many updates and photos during her stay and she fit in so well with the family and their dogs. I can’t recommend them enough for such genuine care and love for your pets! And I’m so happy to have found a sitter I feel so confident leaving my dog with in the future! Thank you guys so much!

My dogs had a great time with Delane! They were well cared for and looked very happy in the photos that she regularly sent. Definitely planning on using Delane again!

We all want our pups to be happy while we are away, but the reality of having so much fun is that we you pick them up, they are looking back longingly at their new found friends. This is all to say that Ben came home after a 4 day stay very happy. Thank you Anna!

Sidney was fantastic - communicative, kind and able to accommodate a last minute request! She has the perfect set up at home and experience to accommodate all types of dogs and even asks for any behaviors to watch out for so she can reinforce good behaviors. I am so grateful/impressed! Her dogs tired our two dogs out which is always great after coming back from vacation. Highly recommend!

Kimberly was amazing in taking care of our pup for the weekend!! So many fun pictures and videos were sent, giving us peace of mind while away. We will definitely be using her again in the future!
