Dog Boarding in Canaan

We were coming from quite a distance for a family event and were so fortunate to find John to sit our boy Walden for a few days. The fenced backyard was perfect and John made Walden feel at home. He was easy to connect with and updated us on their fun activities too. John is clearly kind and loving of pets and people, and we would use him again in a minute if we are in the area. Thanks, John!

Nicole was so warm and welcoming to Eva and provided many pics and updates. Eva was welcomed into the family and had so much fun playing and going in adventures over the weekend. So happy to have found a home away from home for Eva!

Our dog Max had a great time with Peter and Monique. They were kind and took him for walks and offered plenty of lap time to keep him happy while we were gone.

Mary Ann is simply the best! This was our second time boarding with Mary Ann and the peace of mind we felt knowing our dog was so well cared for was priceless. We were able to enjoy our vacation thanks to the knowledge that our elderly blind and diabetic dog was in incredible hands. Thank you!!

Nell was great! You can tell she and her daughter both genuinely care about animals and treated my Remi like he was one of their own. I will definitely book again!

Angela and Tommy made our worries about finding a non-family dog sitter disappear. We’ve now left our dog with them for half day, full-day, and multi-day stays, and each time we feel like we hit the jackpot. Their knowledge and passion for dogs is incredibly evident in conversations, and their willingness to be attentive to certain needs and quirks for your pets is extremely appreciative. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

This was Kepler's second stay with Lynette and Honey. From the daily pictures it was clear that he had a great time. Leaving Kepler in capable hands made each trip a worry free one.

Mary and Todd took wonderful care of Darcy! They took him on the long walks he needs and sent me plenty of updates and pictures. I'll definitely contact them again if I need a sitter!

Our dog had a great overnight with Magnolia: she enjoyed the big fenced yard and indoor space, play with the other dogs, and good care she received. She looked calm and comfortable on her dog bed in the picture we received. We're looking forward to another stay with Magnolia!

Kristina and Jordan are a DREAM. We have the most high maintenance senior pup, and they took such amazing care of him, catering to his every need and ridiculous whim. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving him with anyone before. They went above and beyond at every turn! The consistent communication and pictures were the cherry on top. I’m so grateful to them and would recommend them to anyone who wants the best care for their pup. Dog people to their core, and they will love yours as much as you do.

Our dogs had the best time with Benny on his farm! You could tell when Benny dropped them off to us that they really adores him and had a great time. Lots of running around and plenty of quality snuggles! Thanks Benny!

This is the second time Katie has watched our dog Bailey, and it was great knowing that she was in such competent hands! Katie is able to watch multiple dogs at a time, and it seems like Bailey really enjoyed the fun playtime with the other dogs. Katie‘s home is comfortable and welcoming for people and animals. Katie is very responsive to questions and texts, and her love of the animals is obvious. It’s no surprise she’s so popular with her clients. Highly recommend!

We boarded our 6 month old puppy with Christine, and she was wonderful to work with! She sent photos to us occasionally but we never felt overwhelmed. He was clearly having a fun time when we picked him up, and was thoroughly tired out (which is a feat with our ball of energy!) highly recommended.

Franny is a very thoughtful and caring sitter. I trust not only that my 13 year old Maltese will be well cared but also that she will have a great time. Will always check with Franny first when needing a sitter.

We have used Karina multiple times now. She is very reliable, responds quickly and our boy loves playing in her yard/ hanging at her house! She is our go to sitter :) Thank you Karina!!

We had such a great experience having James watch our dog, Jack. He sent updates and pictures regularly. When we picked Jack up, he was happy and seemed like he had a great time! We will definitely use James again when we leave town!!

We are so happy to have connected with Cindy and plan to have our pup spend many a day or overnight with her in the years to come. She is extremely attentive, caring and knowledgeable. She takes her time to get to know your dog , establish their relationships with the other dogs in a healthy and nurturing way and is very happy to offer her years of experience on training and diet and general dog/ human family happiness.
