Dog Boarding in Harwinton

Michal & John took good care of our dog in their home during our long vacation. We felt at ease knowing our dog was in good hands and comfy in their place.

Another great stay. Alex and his family are serious about Rover. They put their hearts into it. I was very far away this time. Seeing my older pup lounging and exploring / getting the daily updates proved their skills and commitment as caretakers. Of course the proof’s also in your dog’s reactions to arriving and leaving their place. All good there too. Thanks again Alex.

Angela is such a lovely person! Cares for our Pluto like her own. 🤗💞 so happy to have found her and her caring home for our furry baby! I get constant updates and pictures of Pluto having fun at their home and yard. He runs to Angela when dropping him off and that tells a lot! ❣️ Highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for care in a setting where every pet is important and loved!

It was Duke's first boarding experience. He seemed to love it. Made new friends! Katie is very warm and welcoming. He is scheduled to go back very soon!

We love that Jaylese is a caring young woman with a very helpful younger brother. This is her first year with Rover and I'd say she's off to a very good start. I have two dogs who aren't the easiest. Jaylese was attentive and communicated with me throughout the entire weekend to make sure their needs were taken care of. I'm a Rover sitter myself and I know that it takes quite a bit of confidence and commitment to join this team. We'll definitely be booking with her again.

Our pup Beau stayed at Shannon’s house for two weeks this month while we were away and we truly can’t recommend her highly enough. We were nervous about leaving him for so long but Shannon sent frequent pictures, videos and updates throughout and truly put our worries at ease. We will definitely be using Shannon again — and think Beau will be very happy about that!

Fantasticdidlyastic James and family ....we're very friendly professionals who genuinely car for animals . My dog got her menstrual cycle same day as drop off ....James said no problem. Bring her . Can't say enough. Super fair price. For such amazing service!

Nell is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter where they don’t have to worry about their pet being taken great care of while away. She responds quickly and is very flexible and makes things easy.

Mecheal was awesome with Bella. I enjoyed all the pix and all the videos. Micheal was very attentive and seeing her and her partner have soooo much fun with Bella. Made me very happy. I will definitely have her watch my precious furball in the future.

We left our puppy, Dallas, with Jessica and Ian for an overnight stay. Due to Dallas being young and having never left her with anyone else, we were nervous. Jessica helped to relive our nerves. We had frequent communication and she sent numerous photos of Dallas throughout the stay. We picked Dallas up and it was clear she was happy and enjoyed her stay. We will definitely use Jessica and Ian again in the future.

Amber was super communicative. She shared tons of pictures and was really responsive. Proof that the dogs had a blast, Fabio didn’t want to leave! He kept running back to her door.

Lynsey was very flexible in figuring out our arrangements to leave our pup Toby with her while we were traveling from out of town to attend a local event. She clearly loves dogs and put Toby right at ease. Her dog was very compatible with Toby and it was helpful to have another dog to keep him company! The nice yard (and nice weather!) helped to give some outdoor playtime. She sent some cute pictures to ease our separation anxiety and overall, it was a great experience!

This was my first time using Rover and I would highly recommend Allison Nicole. My dog felt comfortable and had a great time. I received daily updates on how my dog was doing.

Julie was super accommodating and was able to board our boxer, Lilly, on a last minute request when our scheduled sitter’s family came down with the flu. Lilly has a lot of energy at a year and a half and after explaining her curiosity and 24/7 wanting to play and cause trouble, Julie was happy to take her on. She has a great family who all connected with Lilly. We got regular updates on how she was doing during the day and overnight and drop off and pick up times were totally flexible. I’m glad we had the opportunity to meet a new Rover sitter for Lilly that we can add to our list.

I was extremely nervous about leaving my almost 9 year old Chihuahua with anyone. She has separation anxiety and won't eat unless I'm home. I take her on every trip due to this. I couldn't bring her this time. I went to a Meet & Greet with Maria to make sure the situation was a good fit. I'm extremely cautious when it comes to my kids and pets. I ended up booking my dog's stay with Maria for 8 days. She was wonderful! She sent me daily updates and a picture. She did everything for my baby that I requested (even let her sleep in her bed). I boarded my other two dogs (Chihuahua & poodle) and won't ever do that again. My other Chihuahua came home two pounds lighter which is a lot for such a small dog. If I ever need a dog sitter again, Maria will be the first person I contact for my two little dogs :) I highly recommend her. I could tell she genuinely loves dogs. Another plus is that your dog will never be left completely alone which is a huge factor for me.

Tiffani took care of my sweet Bella when she was only two weeks post major knee surgery. She went above and beyond keeping her calm, giving her meds, keeping her separate from her own dog, and even giving her her own room so she can rest. Can’t thank Tiffani enough! It’s Bella’s home away from home!

Maggie was absolutely fantastic taking care of Whiskey, and he got the chance to make 2 new best friends! She stayed in constant communication and sent tons of videos and pictures. She treated him just like her own and it was so heart warming to see how happy he was! I definitely give 5 stars - would give 10 or 20 if I could and will use Maggie (and Moose) again!

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars ⭐️. Araceli and her husband did such a great job taking care of Phoenix! This was my first time leaving him with a sitter and I was very nervous, but from the first meet and greet I knew that he would be in great hands. They are knowledgeable dog lovers that made my puppy feel comfortable and at home. They also have two friendly super sweet dogs. Araceli sent me pictures everyday and provided me with updates on how Phoenix was doing, which put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my business trip. When I picked him up it was obvious that he was happy and well taken care of and had been treated like one of the family! He also picked up a few skills- like how to walk up the stairs. I will definitely bring him back!!!

Maria is terrific! After meeting her I knew Max would be in good hands and I was right. She is very organized, professional and caring. She was also kind enough to send photos while we were away which was thoughtful. We have our next visit already booked! Highly recommend.
