House Sitting in New Haven

This was my first time using a dog sitter through Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Marie exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment we met, I knew Pete would be in great hands—and I was right. She sent me frequent updates and so many adorable photos, which made it so much easier to be away from my dog. It was clear they bonded quickly—honestly, I think my dog was a little disappointed when I came back! Not only was my dog happy, safe, and loved, but Marie also left my home in better shape than I left it. That level of care and attention is rare. She’s truly a gem, and we were so lucky to have found her. I’d recommend Marie to everyone without hesitation!

I can't recommend Andrea enough! She has been an incredible house and dog sitter, and I truly feel at ease every time I leave my pup in her care. As a self-proclaimed helicopter dog mom and daughter of a Veterinarian, I’m not the easiest person to reassure, but she handles it with so much patience and understanding. She treats my dog like her own, with so much love, care, and attention. I always get regular updates, photos, and videos throughout my trip, which completely puts my mind at ease. It’s clear how much she genuinely enjoys spending time with my dog, and the feeling is mutual! My dog gets so excited every time she shows up, and honestly, we all know how much a dog’s judgment matters! Beyond caring for my pup, she also takes excellent care of my apartment. Every time I return, it's exactly how I left it clean, tidy, and clearly respected. It’s such a relief to know both my home and my dog are in such trustworthy hands. If you're looking for someone reliable, communicative, and genuinely loving toward your pets, Andrea is a great choice!

Mary Rose did an excellent job dog and housesitting for us! She is thoughtful, communicative, and responsible. Finn loved her right away and she sent lots of updates. Our house was perfectly clean when we came home. I would definitely work with her again!

Sophia did a great job caring for our cats. She was able to give our senior cat his medicine twice a day and they were happy kitties when we got home. Thank you!

Veronica kindly was able to house sit my dog on a last minute schedule. She provided consistent updates and sent lots of pictures/videos which made me feel better knowing my dog was well taken care of. She was able to handle my very elderly dog who requires lots of cleaning. She went above and beyond making sure the dog bed and the house was clean. Veronica is incredibly kind and I felt that she truly cares about pets and humans! Would definitely recommend her and would ask her to watch my dog again. Thank you Veronica!

Very professional, loving and helpful

The best sitter! I always get worried leaving my8mo old puppy as shes 50lbs of full puppy energy but I always come home to an exercised happy pup! She was willing to stay later on short notice and always sends lots of videos.

We were so grateful to Kellie for agreeing to watch Atlas on short notice. She was easy to communicate with and Atlas was well taken care of!

Pauline is the absolute best! My fiancé and I were away for a week and were super nervous about leaving our little poppy. Pauline sent us videos and pictures every day and took such good care of our girl. We will absolutely be using her next time we need a friend for pops?

Sadie was great at communicating updates and providing pictures of Edie. Edie looks like she had an amazing time and we would love to have Sadie house sit again.

I can't say enough positive things about Garrett! From the moment I met him, I felt completely at ease leaving my pets and home in his care. I have two large dogs (one over 100 pounds) and three cats, and Garrett handled them all with ease and affection. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine love for animals were evident in every interaction. During my vacation, Garrett provided daily updates and photos, which my family greatly appreciated. He went above and beyond by not only meeting my pets' basic needs but also spending quality time walking, playing, and interacting with them. When I returned home, all my pets were happy and healthy, and the house was in perfect order. It was clear that Garrett had taken excellent care of everything. I highly recommend Garrett to anyone looking for a pet sitter. I will definitely be booking his services again the next time I go away.

Heather was excellent with my 5 year old Havanese who has separation anxiety and cannot be left alone. Heather sent me photos and updates on potty breaks which I really appreciated. Will definitely be using her services again!

Emily was warm, caring, detail-oriented and lovely! While this was our first time with her, it won’t be the last! She managed our three pups and one kitty with grace and playfulness. She sent many pictures and provided info that could be helpful to us to know about her stay at our place. I look forward to booking with her again!

Nany took great care of our dog Watson! She asked great questions to make sure she understood his needs and was very communicative throughout the stay. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to look after their pet.
