Cat Sitting in Oakville

Julie was AWESOME! She answered my messages in a timely manner and sent me updates and pics of my babies every day. I will definitely be booking her again for future sittings!

My boys love it when Priscilla comes to visit. Brooks, who is very shy, even head butts her and asks to be petted. I trust her with our cats and home completely.

My 2 dogs have stayed with Jen a few times now, and each time she has been awesome! I picked them up last time during a huge snow storm and had to park at the top of her street and walk just to get to her house! She helped me walk my dogs back up the street to the car which may not seem like a big deal but there really was so much snow that it was a huge help! She sent multiple pictures each day, and each time I have picked up my dogs from a stay with her they seem comfortable and happy, which is pretty much 100% opposite than the way they seem when we pick them up from a kennel. I will definitely be using Jen's services again because I can tell my dogs are happy and treated well when they stay with her!

Vera stepped in as a last-minute replacement, and I’m so grateful she did! She followed all of my detailed instructions and was very intuitive with my persnickety cat. She also sent very charming and kind updates. Highly recommend!

Stephanie was the best! She cared for our cat Chester and home while we were away. Great communication and exceeded expectations. We just rebooked with Stephanie for our next trip!

Jill was excellent for my cat sitting needs. She kept me informed each day about the food, water & litter box situation. Jill also spent time playing with my cat & even had to clean up a fur ball. I highly recommend Jill as a cat sitter.

Overall, I would rate Lindsay as a good pet-sitter. Prior to our vacation, she was very timely in responding to my messages and she also modified the Rover.com charges to a very reasonable rate for her visits with our 2 cats. It was while we were gone that I felt she fell short. My first issue was with her inconsistency in providing updates on the visits - there was a photo and thorough recap on the 1st day, but on subsequent days there was less detail and on one day there was no update at all. My second issue was with the timing of her visits. I had made it very clear that it was important to check in during the early afternoon, but at least twice she didn't visit until the evening. My third issue was with attention to detail - I had left very specific notes about the cats' food/water/litter and it didn't seem that she had followed them. Lastly, my greatest concern was with the well-being of our female cat and her being bullied by the male cat in our absence. We came back to find that she had a facial injury and had urinated in a chair out of fear. All-in-all our pets were reasonably cared for, but I was definitely disappointed. Lindsay is a very nice girl and I'm sure she had the best intentions. I think the issues may have been due to lack of experience or perhaps I wasn't clear enough on stressing the importance of certain things. (To those reading this review, please note that I have very high expectations for the care of my pets and I think Lindsay is absolutely capable of meeting the needs of a less demanding client.)
