Dog Boarding in Torrington

Once again Mugsy had an amazing time with Michal and John. They truly care about your dog and go out of their way to make sure that they are comfortable. They take time to talk with you about your dogs needs and help train you to help your dog have its happiest life. I know that I have said it before but will say it again Michal and John are the dog whispers of Torrington.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. if you’re going to leave your pets in the care of anyone one else, there’s no one better than Alex and Bethany. My dog gets more excited to go to their home than she does to go to the dog park. My family and I are forever grateful that we found them 🥰

Nell is a great person to work with! Every time we have left our pup with her, he comes back healthy and happy. She is very communicative and flexible. Thanks!

Lynsey is highly competent and knowledgeable. She did such an amazing job watching my boy for the weekend. She was able to administer his medications with no issues and he loved her massive fenced in backyard. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone. He’s already looking forward to his next visit!

Stevie and Mona had the best stay over the winter. Linda was super responsive, very caring and gave my pups so much love. Would highly recommend Linda!

We have two large Long Haired German Shepherd dogs that scare many people and do not take well to many people. Jim listened to our explanations of how to accept them and interact with them and the sessions went very well. We have used him several times and now the dogs know him and even run to him. We highly recommend Jim.

We love that Jaylese is a caring young woman with a very helpful younger brother. This is her first year with Rover and I'd say she's off to a very good start. I have two dogs who aren't the easiest. Jaylese was attentive and communicated with me throughout the entire weekend to make sure their needs were taken care of. I'm a Rover sitter myself and I know that it takes quite a bit of confidence and commitment to join this team. We'll definitely be booking with her again.

Kahn and Tommy did a great job watching Maple! They went above and beyond by sending daily photos and videos, letting her run around their gated yard (which she loves to do), provided a dog bed for her, and let her hang out with their family. They even let Maple stay an extra night when we got home later than expected. Thank you Kahn and Tommy!

This is the second time Katie has watched our dog Bailey, and it was great knowing that she was in such competent hands! Katie is able to watch multiple dogs at a time, and it seems like Bailey really enjoyed the fun playtime with the other dogs. Katie‘s home is comfortable and welcoming for people and animals. Katie is very responsive to questions and texts, and her love of the animals is obvious. It’s no surprise she’s so popular with her clients. Highly recommend!

Kimberlly was awesome! Our pup loved her time there and we felt comfortable that she was being well-taken care of. Kimberlly communicated well and was flexible and caring. We will definitely leave our pup with her again!

I so appreciate all you did, starting with pics shortly after he arrived to let us know he was ok. ☺️ All the pics, videos and communication allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation, knowing he was in good hands. There are almost no words to properly describe how wonderful Chili's experience with Amber and her family was. Where do I even start??? I'll do my best to put into words how special Amber is, but truly - it's going to be difficult to do her and her family justice: Amber is not only warm, friendly and caring, but also a total Superhero. She takes incredible care of her family and her own animals, as well as her clients. She and her family welcomed Chili into their home with arms wide open. My extremely spoiled dog received more love and affection from Amber and her entire family - people we had just met - than I would ever imagined possible. They literally gave him so much love and he had so much fun that I was a bit worried that he wouldn't want to come back home with me ;) From cuddles, playtime and walks - he had it all with Amber. She understood all of his needs and habits, and thus took exceptional care of all the above. From daily photos and texts, Amber literally dissolved all of my worries and I was able to enjoy my trip so much more, knowing that my "baby" was in such incredible care with her and her family. They are true animal lovers, and genuinely wonderful, caring people. I just hope she has room for us for future bookings, as her home is absolutely the top of the heap - a real 5 Star resort for pets! Thank you again and again, Amber!!!

Anna is a GIFT!! She is thorough and so caring. My dog Leoni stayed with her this past week and he came home truly happy, content and calm- which for a rescue pup is not always a simple task. I could see by the updates that his every need was met and he had a wonderful supportive experience. I was able to relax on my trip and I am so grateful for Anna and so happy to have found her.

Our dog has stayed with Mecheal multiple times and all has been great. Drop off and pick up are smooth. Our dog is very happy to arrive and is well cared for. I like not worrying about other dogs living there. There is a fenced in yard to play in. It’s a loving environment. We get regular updates and photos.
