Dog Boarding in Westport

I am a first time dog owner, and I was super super nervous about leaving my girl with a pet sitter, but Irene was very nice and kept me in the loop with pictures and videos. I very much appreciate Irene for taking good care of my little creature. lol ♥️

This was my 7-month old golden retriever Georgia’s first time overnight without us. I met Andrea beforehand and saw her great fenced in yard. Andrea is great - so friendly and accommodating. She clearly loves dogs. I had a great vacation without worrying about my puppy. There’s plenty of outdoor and indoor space at Andrea’s house. She sent pics and let me know how Georgia was doing throughout her stay. She even let Georgia sleep with her! Georgia seemed upbeat and happy when we picked her up. I will definitely have Georgia stay with Andrea again.

Leonel was wonderful to work with! We boarded our dog with him for a week and received consistent communication, updates, photos, etc. Our dog had never been apart from us before, so it was great knowing she was in such good hands. We’d definitely book with Leonel again!

Anna was the absolute best for my pup Millie. I was so worried about leaving her and the second I met Anna I knew it was the perfect place for her. She had a blast running laps in Anna’s yard and made so many new friends. Anna sent tons of pictures and updates. Cannot recommend enough and Millie already can’t wait to come back!

John’s experience is clear in the way he interacts with and cares for the dogs he is watching. Manny absolutely loved staying with John and came home totally exhausted from all of the fun that he had. John is organized, professional, and communicative. He was incredibly understanding and accommodating when we needed to cancel the day before a stay due to health concern for Manny. He was so kind and tried to get creative with how he could support us. We are very excited for Manny to get to stay with John again!

Julie is amazing. She has kept both of our very active puppies and they always come back happy and well cared for. They love her and she has a wonderful yard and great family that gives the pups lots of attention. Highly recommend!

Kevin is amazing! He took such great care of my pups Biba and Dushi. He sent updates, pics, videos, and I could tell Biba and Dushi had such a great time playing with Kevin’s pups. They didn’t even want to leave Kevin at the end and passed out the second they got in the car! 100% would recommend and will be back!

We are so glad to have found Jhensen through Rover. He took care of our yorkie (Mia) for two weeks. She has come back happy, healthy and smelling of lavender (he also bathed her!) We could tell that he had taken great care of her by seeing the close bond she had clearly formed with him and how happy and excited she seemed around him. He accommodated our last minute request and dispelled all our anxiety by his capable and informed responses. He is very responsive, a true dog lover, mindful of sensitivies concerning the pet (he hand fed our fussy dog), easy to work with and has a fantastic attitude. He sent us regular updates, pictures and videos. Mia was treated like a member of the family, allowed on furniture and taken for regular walks. She even got to attend a party! He exceeded all our expectations and we are very happy to have found him. He is going to be our first choice for all future boarding needs.

As always, Nathalia and Eddi took excellent care of our dogs when we were out of the country for a week. They were also very accommodating when our return trip got us home later than expected. I always feel great about leaving my fur-kids in their loving, responsible care.

Our prior Rover host moved to Florida and I was fortunate to have found Rusudan and her family. From the introduction, to drop-off and pick-up, they were engaging and showed honest care for my dog. I know I can be worry free when I leave my pet with Rusudan.

Where do I start? Marilyn was great. I felt safe knowing she had my boy Niko. She was great at communicating and should I add that she took him last minute? She sent me videos of him playing, kept a good watch over him and even sent videoed of him drinking water and eating. I have a doodle breed so I always worry because he constantly wants attention and has so much energy. It was important for me because unfortunately there have been times I’ve picked him up from an sitter and he was dehydrated. Got my baby back and he was happy and jumpy and full of energy as usual. She kept him for 5 days longest I’ve ever been away from him! We will definitely be back with her if I ever need a sitter if she is available.

Jodie was a great host for our dog, Bailey, during our recent family vacation. Bailey was well taken care of and got everything she needed. Jodie was very responsive and a good communicator! It was also good for Bailey to socialize with Jodie’s dogs. Thanks Jodie!

Pam was an absolute angel with our pup Tyson. He needed special care due to a leg injury and she took excellent care of him. Followed the instructions as per our vet and by the time we picked him up, he was injury free. Pam kept in constant communication with me through his stay and sent me pictures with updates on his progress. I could not have asked for a better sitter. I’d highly recommend Pam and will be a repeat client. Pam, thanks again for taking great care of Tyson.

My dog was so happy during and after his stay with Jackie. I received a bunch of photos and felt completely relaxed that my dog was safe and well cared for during his stay!

Michel and Eric were great! They sent daily updates and pics of Poppi during the stay and they really seemed to love her as much as we do. I'll definitely hire them again if we need a sitter!

Our old dog Sophie stayed at "Camp Jay" many times in the two years since we adopted her from a shelter. Sophie was always eager to see Jay, and I know that he took excellent care of her every time. Jay is very knowledgeable about dogs and always gave a detailed account of how she behaved and ate. Sophie is gone now, but we will always be grateful that we found Jay!

Christina and her family were very warm and welcoming! The men were kind and understanding about my dog's initial nervousness around them. Knowing my dog was in excellent care made my weekend away so much more relaxing and fun. At the end of his visit, all my dog's belongings were packed and ready to go and my dog looked content. I will definitely rebook with Christina!

Lena was incredible with my 5 month old puppy! We had our dog stay with Lena for a long weekend (3 nights, 4 full days). Lena was extremely communicative throughout the boarding and sent us lots of pictures, videos and text updates throughout the day. Between all of the updates and Lena’s extensive experience I never had to wonder if my puppy was in good hands. I was able to relax on my trip knowing my dog was probably having more fun at Lena’s than she does on a typical day at home. Lena only boards a small amount of dogs at a time, so I know my puppy got all the love and attention she needed— she also got to make some new dog friends which was great for her socialization learning. I’m so glad we found a reliable dog sitter right in our neighborhood, I know my puppy will be happy to go back!
