House Sitting in Avalon Beach

First time booking on rover and I’m so glad I found Shannon! She was so sweet and was able to help me out by house sitting my 2 big pups last minute (after a friend was unable to watch them). Usually when I get home from being away my dogs go crazy!! But Shannon took such great care of them that they acted like I just came home from work 😂 Shannon carefully followed directions, was very communicative, and sent many updates with pictures. I will definitely be rebooking with Shannon in the future! She is truly a kind hearted person and will love your furry animals just as much as you do!! It was wonderful not having to worry about my pets and knowing they were being taken well care of. Not only did she take great care of my animals but also my house! She took care of a few things I wasn’t able to finish before I left (dishes in the sink, take out trash etc.) and Shannon made sure I came home to a clean house!!

Kathy did a great job taking care of our animals while we were out of town. She is our dog Grizzy new best friend! We did not have to worry about them or our house while we were out of town knowing that Kathy was there. I would recommend her if you need someone reliable to watch your pets.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Alyssa stayed at our house for two weeks with our two cats and took care of the feral kittens we feed in the backyard. We were very nervous since we’ve never left them for more than 6 days. We had professional cleaners come the day before our trip and we returned to the house just as clean as when we left. My Maine Coon is a Covid cat and does not handle it well when we leave him, he will pee on the floor even if we just leave him for work. I left pee pads and I’m sure he peed on the floor many times but we heard no complaints and did not come back to a mess. She sent photos of all the cats without asking and sent messages every few days even though we rarely had service overseas for communication. She even offered to come by the day after our booking ended since we would not be back yet. We would definitely book Alyssa for future trips.

Dawn, was incredible. She treated Zoey like she was her own. I was nervous trying someone new and I cannot say enough times in enough ways “DAWN” was fantastic! The pictures and captions were just amazing it made our day while we were away to know that Zoey was safe and being well cared for. Zoey is missing her today keeps looking around for her new friend. We will definitely be booking Dawn again in the future. If you need someone to love your fur baby like you do book with “Dawn” you will not be sorry and your pet will have a new friend😊

Lis was absolutely wonderful! They had a meet and greet with Remi- and it went so smoothly! Lis was incredibly thorough with communication, sent updates and pictures through the time I was gone, asked great questions while preparing for my time away, and I will absolutely trust Remi with them again!!

Thank you Summer! I really do appreciate you taking care of Topher & Annie while I was out of the country. This was the first time I have ever left them with a sitter. Yes, I was nervous, but you made me feel a lot better knowing you were there. You were attentive to them & keeped me updated. If anyone is looking for a great sitter, check with Summer. Cannot recommend Jordan enough, he went above and beyond when caring for my pets. My extended family often cares for my cats when I’m away but we all took a trip out of the country recently for a family wedding. Jordan was a fantastic communicator, took incredible care of my two cats, and my home. He truly is a sweet soul and I’m thankful for finding him!

She communicated very well, was great with my pup, she sent great pictures of my pup going for walks, playing and hanging out. I would book her again.

Amanda took wonderful care of our dog and home. She sent plenty of updates and photos. Our pup barely missed us and our house seemed cleaner than when we left. Thank you.

Renee was wonderful with our two dogs when we went on vacation. She came over multiple times a day to make sure the dogs were fed, used the restroom and played outside. She also went for walks. I was apprehensive at first allowing someone to watch my male dog as he is anxious around new people, but we did a meet and greet prior to going on vacation and both of the dogs immediately took a liking to her. Renee will be the first one that I call next time I need a dog sitter.
