Cat Sitting in Bowling Green

Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Thank you Jennie for working so hard for 3 straight days and restoring my faith in humans , there's still good ones out there! ❤ Rover, you just don't know what you have! Sincerely, Donna Matteson

Cathy was a great house sitter who looked after our two cats while we were traveling. She communicated really well, drove down to meet the cats before confirming the booking, and showed up on time before us leaving to get access to the building. She also did a wonderful job communicating during our travel/ her stay with the cats. She took care of the cats’ medications needs, too! What I loved most about her is how prompt she is about responding to any messages. She kept us updated with pictures and lots of other information. She has been kind to the cats and tolerated them sleeping in/ on her suitcase, ha ha. We found the cats happy and healthy. She also took care of our place, it looks great- just as we left it. She also washed the sheets and towels and overall left the place exactly as she found if not better☺️ She is a kind person, and very personable. We loved having her as a house / cat sitter and will contact her again when we need her care. Thanks much, Cathy! And see you soon ☺️

Isabella did a great job taking care of our senior cat. She communicated right away when Punkin was too stressed and anxious to give her medicine. She suggested another way which worked well. The communication every day through Rover eased my mind about leaving Punkin by herself. We will definitely be using Isabella again.

My cat loves attention and she gave it to him. I was worried that he would be too lonely, so Savanna was the perfect alternative to a lonely cat. She played and cuddled with him and sent picture updates -- and she was very polite. I will be a repeat customer.
