Dog Boarding in Tavernier

It was our first time using Rover and we were a little nervous leaving our dog with someone we didn’t know. Patricia immediately made us feel good about our choice and Orion had no problem following her once we left her place. She was very good at sending us pictures and updates and it was clear that Orion was having a lovely time! He was very content after we picked him up and seemed like he was ready to go back!

So blessed to have found Jill!! I had emergency and at last minute she was able to help with such kindness and care. Jill was so great with my dog for over night stay at her house, sent me lots of pictures and reassured me with texts everything was going well. SO THANKFUL FOR YOU JILL. ❤️ ? ? ?

Ellie stayed with Megan & Family for 3 nights while we visited friends in the area. As soon as we met Ellie's sitters, we knew she would be in loving hands with a great yard to run in and other dogs to play with. And they were awesome about working with our day-to-day plans, definitely will leave Ellie in their capable hands again! Thank you ladies for taking care of our little girl!

Overall my dogs had a good stay. This was a last minute booking when my original sitter fell through. Angela was sweet but her son didn’t say much. I did request photos and videos when I booked, but only received 4 photos and no videos, and I had to ask for those photos. When I picked up my dogs, they and all of their belongings smelled like urine. One of their beds even was moist from urine and I had to throw the bed out because the urine smell would not come out. It makes me wonder how often my dogs were being taken out to use the bathroom and what their conditions were where they were being kept. We did not get an option to see the area where the dogs were kept, so I can’t speak to how clean it was. My puppy also had his harness on in every photo, which were taken inside. When I picked my dogs up, the puppy harness had been shredded, which is not the condition that I left the harness. The bag which housed the dog’s belongings also had been chewed on. None of these concerns were brought to my attention, rather I had to discover them. Pretty disappointing.

Alexis was great with hope! My son and I were very nervous leaving hope with a stranger since we had never been away from her. Alexis sent us pictures and videos of her to put our mind at ease. It’s so nice to see he cared for her like she was part of the family.
