Dog Boarding in West Point

So glad I tried out rover.com. Trixie (my dog) does better staying in a home with people and even other animals rather than being boarded. My normal sitter was unavailable and this was my first time trying out rover.com. I read the previous reviews and thought that Melanie would be a good fit for Trixie’s needs. Melanie was very accommodating by letting us do a ‘meet’ prior to her scheduled stay to make sure we were all comfortable with the arrangements, especially for Trixie. Melanie will put your mind at ease that your dog will be well taken care of and treats her as one of her own. She sent pictures and provided periodic updates to let me know how Trixie was settling in. I would highly recommend Melanie if you’re in need of dog sitter.

Bosch just spent Terri weeks with Jonah and her family. She did a wonderful job. Bosch was loved, well cared for and happy. Highly recommend.

We are so glad to have found Hunter! We take our dog Sarge with us everywhere we go, if at all possible, but on this occasion we needed someone to look after him. Hunter listened to me attentively regarding Sarge’s care and was able to provide him exercise, interaction with other dogs, and even fun time at the lake. Hunter is trustworthy, friendly and quick to reply to my texts. He is also a professional dog trainer so this added an extra level of comfort knowing that he understands dog behavior and also loves and cares for dogs the way that we do in my house. We feel blessed to have found Hunter and will absolutely be booking with him again. It sure makes traveling much more enjoyable when you know that your beloved pack member is being treated the way he would be in your own care. Thank you Hunter!

Gary was a wonderful pet sitter for my two-year old lab. He took time to meet with us before hand and he was interested in learning about us, which was reassuring to me. Gary was an excellent and prompt communicator, and he sent me several photos of my pup, who had a great time and was very well-cared for. Gary was generous and flexible about an unexpected late night pickup. I will definitely be using him again!

She takes the best care of my senior dog Brownie. She sends constant updates and pictures and I can feel that she really cares for my dog. Thank you Xu!

Rocky spent 3 weeks with Quennie! This is the first time that we went on vacation with a peace of mind! Quennie and her parents really took care of Rocky just like their son, unlimited cuddles and play! They walked Rocky 2-3x in a day! She also send me a lot of pictures and videos without asking them! They are the best dogsitter around! Finally i found somebody here in rover that will take care of my dog while we are away! Thank you so much… our family is so blessed to find them here 🙏🥰

Donald, A Dog's Best Friend Donald is a true gem on Rover. From the moment he met Bella, it was clear he had a special touch with dogs. Bella is timid but she warmed up to him quickly. His responsiveness and regular photo updates provided peace of mind, knowing Bella was in good hands. Communication with Donald was great, and his friendly nature made the the entire experience pleasant. Bella absolutely loved Donald's spacious yard. Knowing she was happy and safe allowed me to enjoy my time away without worry. Without a doubt, I'll be booking with Donald again in the future, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking a caring and trustworthy rover sitter.

Lindsey took great care of Cappy and sent lots of pictures, which was so appreciated! Her family loved on Cappy and took him for lots of walks too-so he was sufficiently tired when we picked him up! It was comforting to know he was having such a good time! Highly recommend Lindsey!

Jennifer was awesome! She is super friendly and welcoming & great with dogs. I highly recommend her if you need someone to care for your fur baby!

Kimmey was great! Extremely responsive and communicative. She kept us up to date with cooper photo and reports each day. Her and her family took great care of our dog. highly recommend

I'm active duty army and left my two boys (who can be a lot to handle) with Brandi for 3 weeks while I was in the field. I had boarded them once with her before during a shorter weekend. Brandi treated them like her own! They got daily play, walks, and snuggle sessions, and were returned to me just as happy and healthy as when I left them. Brandi was also very available for drop off and pick up, and even coordinated with me to have them for one weekend that wasn't originally planned during that time. When I brought them back for the last few days, they were as excited to see her and her husband as they are to see some members of my family! I highly recommend booking with Brandi for short or long stays!

Valerie was wonderful. She accommodated me for a last minute, first time booking. She was flexible and understanding. She was our first ever pet sitter through Rover, and we will definitely be back. She sent pictures and videos of my 3 dogs. She even took the time to get our shy/wary pup to open up and feel comfortable with her.

This was the second time I left Spot with Kayla. Spot was so happy see Kayla again he ran to her house and happily started playing with her. She kept us posted with several updates and photos. Her dog Sweetie is also so adorable and got along really well with Spot. Highly recommended sitter. She took him for walks and let him play in the backyard and updated me on his food and water intake too. I can now leave him with her without any worry. She is also mostly at home so she takes extremely good care of pur sweet pups.

The couple is thoughtful and sends photos. My dog is active but their puppy was even a good challenge for my dog! I would certainly use them again.

We really loved having Tahimi take care of our dog Jackson. She accommodated us in a somewhat emergent situation. I felt like he was in a safe and loving home the whole time we were gone. This was my pup's first stay with Carlyn and Max and she had a blast! Wonderful home and backyard for the pups to run around and explore in. Carlyn is very responsive and flexible.
