Dog Boarding in Amana

Karla was amazing with Finnegan! She was able to accommodate last minute and communicated so well throughout his time with her. He came home a very tired and happy pup and I will definitely be booking again!

Ashley was amazing! Sent multiple picture updates each day and was great about letting me know how Chewy was doing while we were away! He seemed to love staying with her and will definitely be going back next time the humans go out of town!

Our pup Cole absolutely loved his stay! He was taken care of so well and had so much fun with the other dogs there ☺️ Communication was great and very friendly people!

Our dog Maggie loved staying with Katrina and her family! We are so glad we found someone to care for her while we are away.

Jason was so sweet, gentle and kind. He made our dog feel right at home. He appreciated her 1 year old activity level and enjoyed her! Greta was in great hands! We will be returning!

Gina is such a great Rover caretaker! We will use her again for sure. Ruby had such a great time playing there. I sure hope Gina’s cat survived all of Ruby’s chasing😊 Gina’s place is clean and a perfect place for our sweet Ruby to stay!❤️🐾

Our two dogs Maya and Benny had a great time, we received multiples pictures during their stay, and communication was always fast. Highly recommend and we will be back again!!

We left our two labs with Abbey for two nights during our wedding week. She took great care of our pups and sent us updates and photos. It meant so much to us to have someone taking such good care of them when we were celebrating! I would highly recommend Abbey to anyone looking for a dog sitter and we will gladly use her again in the future!

Ashley has been our go-to Rover sitter these past few weeks and she has done great every time with our 1 year old beagle! He’s always excited to be back at Ashley’s and comes home super tired so I know he gets a lot of good play time :) Super appreciated all the updates during his stays too!

Jena was great to work with! She was very accommodating over a busy, hectic holiday season when I had multiple flights cancelled and she needed to keep my dog, Finley, an extra day. She graciously shared her dog's food with mine since I had only packed enough for his original stay and she was quick to update me on anything taking a lot of stress out of an already stressful return home. Finley loved Jena's dog, Remington, and he was definitely missing his buddy after we brought him back. I definitely won't hesitate to book with Jena again the next time we are out of town.

Andrea was amazing! We were so lucky to have her watch our fur baby for the weekend. She sent us updates and photos and let us know she was in good hands every day. She not only took care of her, but went above and beyond to play with her and make sure she got plenty of snuggles. Dottie is already looking forward to her next sleepover! 🐾

Edward is exceptional! I had to reach out to him last minute after another Rover sitter fell through, and he was incredibly gracious and accommodating. Although I couldn’t visit his home in person, we did a FaceTime walkthrough, and I was immediately reassured by how clean and organized his space was. I've encountered other Rover sitters with messy homes, and there’s no way I’d leave my dogs in an environment like that! Edward is warm and welcoming, which gave me confidence that my two Great Pyrenees—my 2.5-year-old and my five-month-old puppy—would be happy and well cared for. I knew the puppy would require extra attention, but Edward provided a loving and safe environment. During my two-week trip to England, my dogs stayed with Edward, his wonderful wife, their two children, and a cat. I received daily updates, complete with pictures and videos, showing how well my pups were doing. One photo of Edward lying on the ground, hugging both dogs, truly made my heart sing! My beautiful doggies enjoyed daily walks and received plenty of love and attention. Working with Edward was a dream, and I wholeheartedly recommend him. His warmth and professionalism are invaluable, and I will definitely be returning!

Michaela, as always, rocks. I contacted her with a last minute request for a family emergency and she so graciously helped us out and offered to keep Ezra longer if needed. She's the best!! Ezra is exhausted from playing so hard, a nice relief for a tired "dog dad".

Bill was available last minute for a long overnight boarding (Saturday AM to Sunday PM). He sent us pictures and updates about our dog, Dora, during her stay. Dora seemed very anxious, upset, and stinky after boarding at a local kennel so we turned to Rover for the first time and she did so much better at Bill’s place!! Sounds like she even made a couple of new furry friends.

Archie had a blast with Trish! Got tons of pictures and was very well cared for- so grateful to know he was in good hands while we were away.

Josh was so great with Harper. I didn’t even expect her to have anxiety and not eat, but with his experience and expertise he went above and beyond to handle the situation and keep me totally informed as well. They went on several walks , which I’m sure she loved. It was nice to know she was in good hands and I could relax on my weekend away.

My dogs were well cared for. One of them had a tummy upset, I was called and they were prepared to give him special food. I so appreciated that!! They sent pictures or videos every day and I could tell they were happy. I will definitely use them again!! Great communicators that respond quickly!!

Anne was kind and helpful from our first message. She suggested a meet and greet in neutral ground for our dogs and then after carefully assessing their comfort level, invited me and my dog to her home. This made me and my dog much more comfortable at drop off. She then took the time to send photos of all the fun he was having. We picked him up two hours ago, he is still sleeping. I call that a good fun weekend. Thanks, Anne.
