Dog Boarding in Ankeny

Our experience with Meagan was wonderful. From the moment we met her at the meet and greet I knew she was a great fit for our anxious 16 months old dog. She communicated just enough to keep us informed of how our dog was doing and sent the right amount of photos to reassure us he was well taken care of. We will definitely utilize her when we need a sitter again!

Bailee was excellent. I would highly recommend her. Gracie had a great time.

Kayla was great! She sent pictures of Nola each day, was accommodating when we arrived home a little earlier than expected, and watched her over her own holiday break. Fantastic sitter!

Hades has the BEST time with Nicole and her family! He looks so comfortable and happy in every picture she sends, and it makes being away from him a little easier. She provides quality play time and chill time and Hades gets along great with her golden, Penny! Will absolutely book with Nicole again :)

So sweet, amazing family. She sent lots of photos and was really professional, she really paid attention to what we had to say and i felt like our pup was in good hands during our trip, I will definitely be using her with our pup Zena again!

Our dog Parker had a medical emergency while under Cathy's care, and she took great care of Parker--seeking medical help from a veterinarian. She showed care and compassion as though Parker was her own dog.

Chris and Erin are amazing!! Always keep me update to date and Oakley always has so much fun with their dog and running around in their backyard!!

We loved Sara and her family and so did Storm! They treated her as if she were part of their family, taking her to the farmers market and tee ball games! We will definitely use Sara and family again!

It was great working with Jenevieve. Got updates/photos on how our dog was doing. Was able to modify our booking when our trip ended up shorter than expected.

This was my first experience using Rover, Teija made the entire experience simple and I felt comfortable leaving my dog with her family for a week. She was responsive to my messages, and I received updates and pictures of my dog hanging out with the fam’ while I was away. It’s always difficult leaving your dog while you’re away, but I know Dallas was in good hands!

Jessica is great with my stinker of a puppy, Millie. Sends lots of updates with pictures, and Millie LOVES her stay at Jessica’s house! Highly recommend.

Rachel is taking excellent care of Stacey Lynn. I was in a tough bind trying to locate temporary boarding for the puppy because her owner ended up in the hospital unexpectedly. We would leave our dog with Colleen again in a heartbeat! Our Butter got lots of love and attention and treats. And we got lots of pictures, which we love. You can tell by the way all of our things were returned that Colleen followed our care plan perfectly. Butter came back to us a very happy girl!

Ali is amazing! She gave our pup amazing care, played with her every day, and provided all the belly rubs in our absence. We will definitely rebook with Ali again!

Jacquelyn and family were wonderful. We were in the midst of last-minute travel and needed a sitter for a few days when passing through the Des Moines area. We also dealt with last-minute, unexpected circumstances both before we dropped our dogs off, and right before we were supposed to pick them up. Jacquelyn was so kind and flexible in adjusting to and accommodating our situation. We also received updates during our two dogs' time there, and both dogs were obviously having the time of their lives! I would highly recommend Jacquelyn. Also, we periodically pass through Des Moines, and can't always take our dogs to our destination...during those times we will definitely have Jacquelyn take care of our dogs. Amy & Casey did an excellent job with Coco! The meet and greet was really well and made us feel at ease. We dropped her off and had no anxiety about leaving her there over night. They sent us pictures of her and let us know how she was getting along with their dog Duke. He was great with her and wore her out. I would recommend Amy & Casey and will be booking with them again in the future!
