Dog Boarding in Story City

They are the best pet sitters I have had with Rover.com. The kids were great with my Great Dane. Steve was so good to send me texts and photos. He even took her for a walk. Sometimes, that's not an easy thing to do with my dog. I will feel so good about taking my dog to them again.

Katrina was amazing. All 3 of my dogs were boarded and she accepted them and made them feel so comfortable in her home. She sent daily updates and was so patient with them as they adjust. I can’t thank her and her family enough for loving my dogs like her own.

i am so glad i chose Hope to watch my dog (Rika) while I was out of town. It was my first time being away from Rika (11 month old), since I got her. I was extremely anxious about leaving her, but I was able to get quick responses from Hope about how she was doing throughout the stay. When we picked Rika up once her stay was over, she almost didn’t want to leave.. lol. I know she was in good hands the whole entire stay, and I would recommend Hope to anyone looking for a place to board their dog.

Malory did a great job looking after Koda! She really understands how to work with dogs. She let us come for a meet and great before Koda stayed with her. He has kind of a complicated feeding regime, but she didn’t bat an eye. Koda is a Samoyed and has a thick fur coat, which she even brushed out for us. Since there were a few other dogs staying, Koda got lots of playtime and came home tired! She even set up a fan for him to sleep in front of at night, since he’s always hot. She is flexible with drop off and pick up times. She has a well-oiled system for taking care of dogs. I would definitely let Koda stay with her again. She also gave us a daily update with a photo and a Polaroid photo of him when we picked him up!

Did a wonderful job with Zoey! She had so much fun, was well cared for and had great communication!

Samantha was a wonderful caregiver for my dog. She was kind and very attentive. Samantha seemed very experienced and well-suited to care for my dog’s needs. She also had a clean and spacious home. I will definitely consider Samantha in the future again for my dog boarding needs.

Libby did an outstanding job with my dog and cat! She is so upbeat and personable and I immediately knew they were in wonderful hands. She wanted to make sure she understood everything they needed and they immediately loved her. She was so flexible and gave wonderful updates. We would love to board with her again! She is amazing!

Ellie stayed with Nicole and her family this weekend, and she had a great time! Ellie gets separation anxiety so finding a family who'd be around nearly all the time for her was important to me. Nicole gave me plenty of updates to ease my worries, and I picked up Ellie to find her not frantically stressed at all. Nicole did fantastic, treating Ellie like one of her own.

My fiance and I can’t say enough good things about Christy! She, her family, and her sweet dogs welcomed Mila like she was part of their pack. It made me so happy to see how comfortable and at home Mila was while we were away. Christy went out of her way to keep us updated with photos and little messages, which really put my mind at ease. You can just tell she has such a big heart for animals, and Mila truly felt loved and cared for every step of the way. We’re so grateful to have found Christy—she’s simply amazing!

Our pup seemed like she had a good time! She is very energetic & requires a lot of exercise, but Brooke and her pups were able to exercise her plenty. Brooke even bathed her because she played in a puddle. I would have her watch our pup again.

Beth was AMAZING with my dogs. She kept my doodle entertained and was able to manage my sharpei being herself. She took a last minute booking for the Christmas holiday, and I’m unsure of what we would have done without her!

Our dogs were well cared for here. The fenced yard was perfect for our active dogs and they seemed very cozy in the house too! We appreciated all the photos and updates very much. Alex and his partner seemed to give the dogs freedom to be comfortable inside and outside. Highly recommend!

Tiffany was super. She responded quickly and was very helpful. She accommodated a few special needs and really worked to make me feel comfortable leaving Lucy with her!

Wonderful experience and Lizee had a nice time. Loved seeing all the pictures.

Lindsey was amazing! She took such great care of our dog. We will definitely have her dog sit for us again.

My dog was happy to be home but she made the most of her stay with Nadia. She, apparently, didn't sleep well while she was there but then she never does when she's not home. I say that because she went straight to bed and slept through the night.

Kept us informed with pictures and nice updates throughout the stay! Made our girl feel right at home with lots of walks and playtime. Aspen will definitely be back soon!

J provided us with a great experience for it being our first time using rover! He is very friendly and reassuring. By the time we left our pups we knew they were in great hands. We are especially thankful for the constant updates and the open line of communication. We would give J 100 stars if we could.
