Dog Boarding in Story City

Our pup seemed like she had a good time! She is very energetic & requires a lot of exercise, but Brooke and her pups were able to exercise her plenty. Brooke even bathed her because she played in a puddle. I would have her watch our pup again.

Steve and Tilaine are phenomenal. I appreciated their calm, experienced demeanor, and my dog seems to have had a fantastic stay! I certainly would love to have my dog stay with Steve and Tilaine again in the future.

Such a wonderful, caring, and conscientious sitter. She made going out of town and leaving my dog behind a breeze with her outstanding care and updates!!

Nicole and her family are officially my go too for dog sitting georgie. They were amazing with her, always giving updates and she had so much playtime with her own super playful pets. Thank you so much for taking her!!

Samantha and her family did an incredible job making Apollo and me comfortable for our first boarding. Samantha was very understanding about schedule changes and complications I had figuring out the app. She sent me a lot of updates during his visit and I can tell he was very well taken care of and came home happy! Lewis is such a great dog sitter! We have peace of mind leaving out St. Bernard with him. It’s obvious he gives her a lot of attention and care. We’ve used him multiple times before and will continue to as he is available.

Kelly was absolutely amazing with my dog! She watched him very last minute for me and sent tons of pictures and videos while I was away. He was very happy to play in her big yard with her other dogs. I would definitely book with her again!

Alex did a great job working with our last minute schedule and accommodating us. I'm sure Mango loved playing with other dogs and running laps in the backyard. Thanks again.

We recently went on vacation and left our pups in the caring of Mallory. They have had multiple doggy day care visits, and made sure to give our pups a meet and greet before they were left in her care to ensure they were comfortable. Mallory takes such great care of our pups, making sure they get plenty of play time, attention, and reassurance each time they go to her. Recently we had them boarded for a week, and our pups came home so tuckered out (a real accomplishment considering we have a high energy pup) and she took such great care of them while we were away, sent us updates of them, and photos to help reassure us they were in the best of care. We love taking our pups to Mallory!

Ollie's first stay with Gina went very smoothly. He warmed up quickly to her. Gina is a devoted pet sitter who accommodated all of Ollie's needs. I know that he got lots of attention and Gina enjoyed him. I would highly recommend Gina to any pet parents!

Words are not enough to express how wonderful Jalyn is with Luna and how lucky we are to have found her! We always know Luna is well taken care of with Jalyn, receive daily updates and pictures and know that Luna will get love and always has fun with Jalyn’s dog and cats! We don’t have to worry when Luna is taken care of by Jalyn as she has proven time and time again how responsible and trustworthy she is.

My dog was treated amazing during her stay. They were also very accommodating when my travel plans changed due to weather. Communication was great through out her stay also. Would recommend to anyone!

Tiffany was super. She responded quickly and was very helpful. She accommodated a few special needs and really worked to make me feel comfortable leaving Lucy with her!

Jacquelyn and family were wonderful. We were in the midst of last-minute travel and needed a sitter for a few days when passing through the Des Moines area. We also dealt with last-minute, unexpected circumstances both before we dropped our dogs off, and right before we were supposed to pick them up. Jacquelyn was so kind and flexible in adjusting to and accommodating our situation. We also received updates during our two dogs' time there, and both dogs were obviously having the time of their lives! I would highly recommend Jacquelyn. Also, we periodically pass through Des Moines, and can't always take our dogs to our destination...during those times we will definitely have Jacquelyn take care of our dogs. Thanks, Jacquelyn and family, for caring so well for Hobbes and Lucy!

Wendy far exceeded our expectations. Our dog can be a challenge but once we met Wendy we had full trust that Timmy was in the right hands. She took the time to ensure he had exercise and quality time outside. She also worked on a few of his bad habits to set him up for success while he was there. She has a fantastic setup for dog care and the knowledge of a trainer. We will be back the next time we need dog care.
