Dog Boarding in Waukee

Samantha was a wonderful host! Sidney had great fun with her dog and one other she was watching, and she sent fun pictures every day. She provided a great setting, with places for them to rest, a fenced-in back yard and walked him as well. Having a meet and greet was a great way to initiate the stay. Sidney was there 5 days and we felt very comfortable that he was being well provided for. We will definitely choose Samantha again when we are in her area! Wish she lived closer to us!

Arlo did great with Candace! She sent updates, which my kids loved to see. Regular walks and a sweet dog and family to play with while we were gone. Arlo came home happy and tired!

Alok is our go-to when we need dog boarding. This time he watched our pups for two weeks while we were out of the country. He sent us regular photos and communications to let us know how things were going. Our pups love his daughter and follow her around everywhere. They had a blast (as always)!

Our Goldendoodle pup had a great time staying with this family, and I was confident in their care and the awesome amount of updates and pictures they provided! They are great communicators, and they were so accommodating to our last minute unexpected change in plans. I would absolutely recommend!

Our 2 year old Cavapoo came home happy and rested from her first overnight stay with Sherilynn. She was instantly part of the family and enjoyed her time there. We look forward to using Sherilynn’s services again!

We are greatly appreciative of the availability of this service especially when the big 'kennels' have no room. The best caveat is the more personal and home-like environment Cliff provided our precious Mystique. We enjoyed the pictures he shared with us while we were away and we would without equivocation endorse your services as an alternative to leaving a pet with a big chain kennel. Cliff is definitely a five-star individual. Thank you again for allowing him to represent your service.

Jessica was a great host! Our dog has bad separation anxiety. We loved that they only take 1 dog at a time and work from home so our dog wouldn’t be alone. We were gone 8 days and received multiple pictures a day and an update on how the day/evening went. We will definitely book with Jessica again! Thanks for taking such good care of Daisy!

Scott and his wife take great care of Gracie when we go on vacations. We feel completely safe leaving her with them. They are very experienced and we have never had any issues - they deal with Gracie so well and take her quirkiness all in stride. We get updated on how things are going with pictures each day and communication is great. Scott is very responsive to messages. We had some schedule irregularities both at the start and the end of our trip and they were very accommodating and flexible, working with us to get drop off and pick up taken care of with as little trouble as possible. We will definitely be letting Gracie 'vacation' with them again in the future!

Our dog, Libby, loved staying with Patty and her family. We received daily updates and photos from walks or playtime. Patty is quick to respond over Rover messenger. Great experience overall!

Thanks to Jessica for watching Bear and treating him like part of the family. He came back to us happy but tuckered out. We got photos of him playing ball all weekend in their huge backyard and walking the Greenbelt trail. Bear and I both rate the experience 10 out of 10.

Lisa and her husband are as sweet as they come! They loved on my pup well, and as this was only our second Rover stay, it would appear he likes to test the boundaries with new people and be a bit ornery. I told Lisa he's a lazy, sweet boy and he certainly is with me, but gave her some more energy than he shows at home and she definitely rolled with it. I received plenty of updates and they thoroughly enjoyed each other. My pup even was sitting near them and getting some love even when I came to pick him up. I could tell he had bonded with them pretty quick. She even sent me with a pup treat to go! I would absolutely use them again and appreciate them so much!

We love that we found Ian and Candice for our girl. They were so great, responsive, and send us updates and pictures during her stay!

I can’t say enough great things about this host. Merlin had a great time! Craig and Sally were attentive to Merlin’s needs. He received lots of walks, swim time and snuggles. They have experience with Wirehaired Pointing Griffons so that is a plus too. We will definitely be booking with this host again.

Samantha is exceptional! I took my dog and my sister's dog to her overnight while we were going to be out of town for an event and she made sure not only to meet us beforehand, but was willing to squeeze in a last minute daycare booking before our overnight stay to make sure my sister's dog who isn't used to dogs other than mine, was comfortable with her crew. Not only were both the pups comfortable, they LOVED her pets. Sammy's dogs are trained to be non reactive and they are the sweetest pack that really lead the other dogs to behave and understand the culture of her home easily! Sammy sent many pictures and updates, and the dogs came home worn out both visits! They were clearly spoiled and well loved while away from home!! Sammy will be our new go-to when we go somewhere we can't bring the pups.

Tanya and family brought my girls into their home and treated them like family! They got great exercise and love. Great communication from Tanya too!

Megan was AMAZING with my Bella, sending consistent updates and adorable pictures. I was nervous as this was Bella’s first time being boarded but Megan was wonderful with her, will definitely be rebooking!!
