Dog Boarding in Post Falls

My husband and I left our two dogs and my Mom left her two dogs to be sat for 3 weeks. Hubby and I - if I could give Ashley and Robbie and their girls more stars I would. But, perfect score is perfect. We were not friends or family. I’ve never met them before. This is an honest review for other animal parents out there. I cannot truly express how thankful I am to have found Ashley and Robbie on Rover. We had a meet and greet and even left our boys with her for a day to have everyone check everyone out. It went great. We were thankful to leave them with someone that obviously cares about animals. However, while we were away (for 3 weeks), we were even more thankful. Ashley sent us photos and videos and even bought my Mom’s dog a sweater as she was cold. She didn’t just send photos and videos, she sent several paragraphs telling us what she has learned about each of our dogs. It became even more obvious how much her and her family loves animals and truly loved our doggies. It was hard to be away from our boys for so long, and yet, made so much easier because of the care their family took of our boys (and my Mom’s dogs). I have and will continue to talk them up- they were just that good! Mom- Oh my goodness! My daughter found Ashley & Robbie on Rover, and that was a red-letter day! My daughter, son-in-law and I were going on an extended vacation, and we needed to find someone to care for all our dogs. We have four between us -- two large and two small -- and we didn't want to separate them while we were away. I can't imagine that there could be anyone on the planet better than Ashley & Robbie! After all, how do you top perfection?!? Ashley sent us updates, photos, and videos throughout our trip so that we could stay connected with our fur-babies. She should be a professional photographer! The pics she sent were so adorable. From her texts and photos, it was obvious that she and her family were committed to providing the best possible loving care for our sweet dogs. Ashley and her whole family are gems. I almost hesitated to submit a review, because like all hidden gems, you want them to stay "hidden" and accessible to only yourself! LOL But I just had to share this spectacular find with the world. They took such good care of our dogs that it was almost surreal. But we know our babies, and the photos and videos told us they were happy. And Ashley's texts told us that she was learning about each of our babies -- their likes/dislikes, quirks and personalities. We are SO happy to have found our "forever sitters." As long as they're still dogsitting and willing, they will continue to be our go-to for watching over our precious pets. Hurray for Ashley, Robbie, and their daughters!

They took very good care of our doggos. Took them on plenty of walks. Sent us pics and vids of them while we were away. Our dogs got to play with their kids, and we're so comfortable that they got protective over their house over the weekend. Would book again. ❤️

Wonderful experience! I received pictures and updates throughout his stay. Rowdy and a nice big yard to play in with their friendly dogs, we will definitely rebook !

Sherin did a great job taking care of my sweet and high energy Brittany. She kept us updated and even sent photos during the stay. She replied promptly and was responsible negotiating pick up and drop off times. We will be using her in the future.

Tara takes great care of Odin, and sends daily pictures so that I can see he's doing good. Odin loves going to Tara's house. I know he's in good hands with her and her family.

Shaunett took care of our 2 dogs for the first time this past week. She and her husband were so kind and easy to work with. They invited us to bring our dogs over for a meet and greet before we booked. Their home is as warm and inviting as they are, and their fully fenced yard is perfect for the dogs to run and explore. She asked all the right questions to get to know our girls and tried to make us all as comfortable as possible. She was flexible with our drop off and pick up times--which was wonderful given the crazy weather and our long drive. When I picked the girls up they were happy and not the least bit stressed. She kept in touch while we were away and sent great pictures. I look forward to having them stay with Shaunett and Matt again.

I cannot express how greatful I am to Kelly and her family. It was the first time we were away from our dog in all the time we had her so we were a bit concerned. We set up a meet and greet with Kelly and my dog absolutely loved her and her family. When I dropped my dog off, Kelly was attentive to the care instructions I provided and I felt comfortable to have my dog stay with her for 3 days. I got daily updates on my dog as well as photos and it brought a sense of peace to my mind. I recommend Kelly to absolutely anyone who is looking for a dog sitter; your dog will be well loved.

We felt at ease leaving Oakley with Katie. we were on vacation and didnt know where to leave her while eating out at dinner. But didnt worry that she was in a safe place while she was with Katie.

Louie stayed with Heather from September 27 to October 6 while I was out of the country, and she took such great care of my sweet old guy. He can't see well, and he’s not used to staying away from home for long. After a few days, Louie wasn't wanting to eat, and Heather made sure to check in with me regularly, going above and beyond to feed Louie alternative foods that he was willing to eat. Heather sent me daily updates and pictures. She was very flexible with drop-off and pick-up. I will definitely book with Heather for future needs.

Wendy was phenomenal. She was communicative and extremely well versed in the frenchie breed, which put my mind at ease. She has a fantastic set-up! Gunner loved his time so much, he instantly fell asleep in the car after pick up. Would definitely book again! Thanks Wendy!

As always, we were so glad to know Indy was well taken care of with Alton and Valerie, and appreciate their consistent check-ins and photos! Indy always has a blast with the other dogs and comes home nice and tired 😆

Very pleasant home and atmosphere, our 13mo Golden was welcomed in by a Chocolate Lab and a Corgi but the highlight for him was the two girls 3 and 6yo! I'm certain he felt as if he was at home with the exception that he got to play with little kids and other dogs, he was in heaven. Travis and Jennifer sent multiple pics to me via txt during his stay which was very reassuring for me. I highly recommend Travis and Jennifer with the only exception I hope they don't get booked up when JR needs to come visit! :)

Jeniel was AMAZING! We will definitely book with her again. She sent daily pictures and they went for daily walks. We knew our fur baby was being well loved while we were out of town!

I can't say enough good things about Rebecca, she was awesome! Her setup is ideal for dogs, lots of room to run and play. She was so helpful and even sent us pictures and updates throughout the day. This was one of the first times we've left our dog overnight, and it was comforting to know she was in great hands with someone who loves and understands dogs. Rebecca's personal dogs are also so friendly and were great at reassuring our dog that she was safe. I will be definitely use her again.

Heidi went ABOVE and BEYOND for our pup! He unexpectedly was not tolerating his food early in our week long trip. She went out of her way to find a wet food to try and watch him closely to make sure he was improving. She also made sure he was comfortable and safe over the 4th of July with fireworks, and stayed cool in the summer heat. Highly recommend!

My dog stayed at Eileen’s place for two months. He comes home happy with no changes. I like Eileen’s updates and sending me photos of my dog every few days. I would like to use her service again in the future!

We are thrilled with Amanda’s care of our dachshund! Penny was so happy to be there and she was well taken care of. It was perfect for her! Thank you Amanda!

Tammy is amazing!! We’ve tried two other Rover’s before her and had less than ideal experiences. Tammy was so sweet to our two fur kids. One of our dogs gets anxiety so Tammy set up two beds in her room and let our dogs sleep in the room with her. She frequently updated us. We received at least one picture a day of our dogs hanging out with her and having a good time. We finally found a place for our sweet dogs to go if we need a vacation or break and won’t have to worry if our dogs are being loved and cared for. We can’t recommend her enough!
