Dog Boarding in Island Lake

I was so nervous leaving Sweetness for the first time and Sarah was so great at dealing with my first-time-leaving-her crazy. Sweetness came home tired and happy from days playing outside. I had nothing to worry about!

John was great! He has a wonderful large yard and it is clear that he has put great thought and effort to how he takes care of your canine friend. It is a wonderful to know that your dog is happy while you are gone. Warm people that truly care about your dog. So many pictures, videos and great communication. We will definitely use him again.

Carolyn G. did an incredible job with my precious pup Maple. They played and went on several walks! She kept me well informed via pictures and videos. Maple was both very happy and tired when I picked her up ;-) That is a great endorsement for the level of interaction they enjoyed during their time together. If I could give her more than five stars I definitely would. We look forward to making Carolyn G. our GO-TO sitter! THANK YOU ROVER!

Melody was amazing! She took great care of my dog Sophie while I was out of town. She was very active with my dog and took plenty of pictures to show me how much fun they had I will definitely be using her again!

Our doggies absolutely love going to Stella’s house! Sometimes I think they don’t want to leave! They are treated like family and extremely well taken care of. My husband and I know our doggies will be loved and taken care of while at Stella’s

June is absolutely amazing! We are beyond grateful for the love and care she gave our fur baby. We will definitely be using her again as she made our trip relaxing knowing he was in good hands because everyday she updated us with pictures. Thank you so much June we truly appreciate you!

Debbie always takes such great care of our Penny, sending us photos and keeping us updated. On our last trip, our flight was unexpectedly canceled and we had to drive home, which extended Penny's stay by two days. When we contacted Debbie at the last minute to ask if Penny could stay longer she immediately said yes and told us not to worry. Her flexibility and compassion gave us total peace of mind. We highly recommend Debbie--she's awesome!

JoAnne is a wonderful sweet person. We received photos and updates from her throughout our vacation. She is very accommodating to our super early drop off time on Sunday morning. We really appreciate that. We highly recommend her.

Rebecca was awesome and watched my pup for the entire weekend, despite being such short notice and having reached out and booked the same day! I needed to extend my stay and she was so kind and willing. And my pup finished all the dog food I packed, so she generously let him eat her own dog’s food (after kindly checking with me)! She even took him to the dog park on a doggie play date with some other pups (also after checking with me first!)! Overall a lovely woman and dog-host that was extremely accommodating and had great communication throughout.

Holy cow, Jessica, Aaron and their boys were so good with Bruno! Playing fetch daily, getting him active and treating him like one of the family. Couldn’t ask more of someone looking after our full energy bird dog.

There should be more than 5 stars for this review!! Angela took care of our Zoe while she was recovering from a minor surgery. Zoe wasn’t the greatest patient, she kept picking at her bandage but Angela was ahead of the game and really did an amazing job taking care of her. She also administered her meds. Honestly, we were so thankful for her!

Rebecca is the best! She is so kind and treated my fur baby well while I was gone for over a week. She kept me updated daily and sent pictures to help ease my anxiety. Theo loved staying with her and playing with her dog, Daisy, who is so cute! I highly recommend her!

Jessica was absolutely amazing!!!! This was my first time EVER leaving my pet with a sitter (outside of family) and I recommend Jessica 1000%. She was so considerate of my dog’s sensitivity and her needs, ensuring a plan was in place during Shailey’s stay. She even made sure you get updates on your pet so you can know their okay. It truly put me at ease the entire time I was away! I even needed to extend the stay for another day and Jessica was so accommodating. I appreciated her service so much and Shailey truly felt at home with Jessica and her family! I can’t wait until the next time and will for sure book again. We always know that Sparky is in the best of hands with Christine. Sparky feels completely at home there. She is also very accommodating, We were running late to pick up Sparky and she was very understanding. We would highly recommend Christine.

Tommy and Julie were wonderful with my Nora and Charlie. I especially appreciated how patient they were with Charlie, who is blind. They provided frequent updates with photos and videos showing how the dogs were settling in, which I appreciated very much! I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Michele! She treated our dog Bella like her own beloved pet. It was clear that Michele spent a great deal of time with Bella, walking her and playing with her inside. She sent us many adorable photos and videos throughout Bella's stay. It looked as if Bella was having the time of her life! We felt very confident leaving Bella in Michele's care, and highly recommend her!

Romeo had amazing time with Olaf. Rodrigo was very accommodating and responsive. Would definitely recommend Rodrigo.
