House Sitting in North Barrington

Danette took such good care of our dog and cat while we were out of town! She was great at communicating with us while we were gone as well. She sent us pictures of our boys everyday too! I

Joe was super kind and our dog Wookie really took a liking to him immediately! He was very calm when we got home which is a sign that he was happy while we were gone. He left the house nice and clean as he found it! Thanks Joe!!!

Mark was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend! Mark was extremely attentive and accommodating for all of my and my doggos needs and requests. I had an extended in home stay booked with Mark, and when I returned the house was in perfect order and the doggo was very clearly loved and cared for. I also had some random household / plant related chores and requests that Mark executed flawlessly. Thanks Mark, you're amazing and Akona and I appreciate you.

Lauren was so great! She took such good care of our boys! No issues with our finicky cat either! This wa our first use of Rover, and I am so pleased that it worked so well. Lauren, you are my hero!

Duke and I couldn't imagine a better dog sitter than Jordyn. Reliable, responsible, upbeat, Duke responds so well to her. We are always grateful to have her at our home.

Yuliia was amazing! She pet sit overnight for our large active dog Honey for 5 nights. She sent me multiple updates a day including photos and videos. She brought a dog puzzle toy to use with honey's treats and went above and beyond with taking care of her. Honey needs a lot of walks and Yullia handled her well and seems to know a lot about dogs. Home was clean when we got home. A+ all around for Yuliia and I highly recommend her for anyone who needs pet care.

Gretchen is the best dog sitter I have ever had. She keeps us informed with pictures and comments about the pups day. She goes above and beyond for me and my dogs. I highly recommend her! It's so nice to feel confident the dogs are being well taken care of. She also takes care of the house too. She has shoveled and taken the mail in. My dogs can be stressed at times but I know they are in great hands. Thanks Gretchen!!

Jennifer, We loved Jennifer.Our dog's have never been left alone.So to have to go out of town for a funeral. It was stressful enough. The dog's took to her quickly. And she sent updates regularly. We definitly would recomend her.

We were really glad to get back home to happy Bella after few hours of being out Aury is a nice, modest and warm person we will call her again !

Ashlee was wonderful! We were out of town and had little to no cell service in the area but every time I got in a better service spot I was able to see multiple updates from her. My dog is a senior boy with multiple medical issues including some spinal damage that has caused partial paralysis. She was able to follow instructions and give him his meds and his routine. I came home to a very relaxed and happy dog so I am confident she took the best care of him. Previously when having my aunt or mom take care of him, I would always come home to an anxious fur baby but not this time! Thank you for all that you did for me and Leonidas, Ashlee! Would highly recommend 10/10 ?

Ida was fantastic. She house sat and cared for my pets to include administering oral meds to one of them. She sent pictures and videos daily, reports at least twice a day. When I got home the house was spotless. My four, yes, four, black rescue kitties were happy and healthy. Absolutely everything got done and more to include watering outside plants and bringing in the mail. She set a very high bar for all. This was the first time I’ve used Rover. If all Rover sitters are as impressive as Ida, it won’t be the last time. While not inexpensive, it was worth every penny for peace of mind. And it was much better for the cats to be able to remain in their home environment. And, in the long run, less expensive and much healthier for them than a kennel.

Jennifer did a fabulous job keeping our 9 month old English Cream Golden Retriever busy and entertained. Gracie definitely loves to play, and it was pretty evident that Jennifer spent a lot of time playing with her. We’d definitely book Jennifer again.

First time doing an overnight with our dog Viggo and also watching our guinea pig. He did an excellent job with great communication. Everything is just as we left it. We’re already planning on using him again.

Becca was amazing with our three pets! We have two senior dogs that are on different prescription foods and on pain medications. Becca took such great care of them and made sure they had exactly what they needed. One is also afraid of storms and Becca gave him the extra TLC he needed when the weather was bad. Our cat insists on sleeping with us at night, and Becca gladly let him sleep with her every night while we were gone. It was such a relief to leave town for two weeks and know that Becca was taking the very best care of our fur babies. She sent us updates and pictures, which we truly appreciated! I highly recommend Becca for anyone’s pet care needs and will definitely schedule her again for future trips.

We’ve had Krissy stay with our Westie a few times now and she is an excellent pet sitter!! Always communicating with us. She takes great care of Brandy and also leaves our home spotless! She went above and beyond this time when Brandy’s leash jammed and she ran to the pet store to purchase a new one. We’re looking forward to having Krissy stay with Brandy again next month!

Hiwi did a fabulous job! We were new to the city and first time Rover users. She immediately made us feel comfortable, starting with a video call followed by a meet and greet to ensure we were all good fits. She staying with our babies, in our home, for a week and left our home in better shape than she arrived (even refreshing our fresh coffee table flowers). She carefully adhered to all of our instructions and took great care of our 14 year old dachshund who has special need and daily vitamin administration. We will definitely be requesting Hiwi's services again!!!
