Dog Boarding in Round Lake Beach

Kim did an excellent job with our 2 pups. They had a great time hanging out and running around her large fenced yard. She gave them lots of snuggles and they looked very comfortable in her home.

That was my first time leaving my dog and I felt a great deal of anxiety looking for a proper place for my dog to stay. Angela and Dave took great care of my dog Betsy for the whole week. They are super responsive and kept me updated daily with texts and videos. I had to flight back in a bad weather and was not sure if my plane will arrive on time. Angela was very accommodating and flexible and assuring that she would take care of my dog until I arrive, even if it would be a day later. That put me in peace and I was able to travel without stress. Betsy was well taken care of, she enjoyed playing with other dogs and I think she was missing her friends when we got her home:)) . I was very comfortable leaving Betsy with Angela and Dave, and highly recommend their service.

Norma took great care of our 14-year-old labradoodle for 12 nights while we were out of town. The first few days I was anxious about how he was doing but she put my mind at ease with texts and pics in response to my queries. We will definitely be boarding him with Norma again in the future when the need arises!

This was the best stay Sammy has had. He wasn't stressed when I picked him up. He seems to have made himself right at home. I appreciated Stella's updates and photos Would recommend Stella to everyone.

These past two and a half years I’ve been blessed to have Debbie and Tom look after my senior English Bulldog with special needs whenever I had to go out of town. It’s been a comfort to know that my Daisy gets lovingly looked after day and night while I’m away by such a caring couple. I’ve gotten daily photos and updates, and they even take my Daisy for her favorite car and stroller rides around the block! They are so patient too in following directions for her special diet and medications. I also love that they’ve made Daisy so comfortable with their own fur babies and now Daisy has a special friend in their cat! That was a shock to me given Daisy and her anxieties. She always comes back home to me with such a calmer demeanor, like Debbie and her family eased away her anxieties. Thank you so much for being so lovely to my Daisy! I’m so happy I found you two and a half years ago. You’ll continue to be Daisy’s home away from home. We are so grateful and lucky. 🐾 💕

Having never needed a dog sitter (family loves to take them), I was understandably wary. But Jacob had such great reviews and lived about 8 minutes from me - so I figured I'd meet him. First, he's lovely. Warm, empathetic, and so, so good with dogs. His home is gorgeous, and there are dog beds and toys everywhere. And it DOES NOT SMELL. I didn't know it at the time, but he only takes dogs of a certain size - little - so my two were not forced to defend their honor with big dogs. (I don't know about you, but my dogs could care less about little dogs - it's the big ones they want to take on.) Both of my dogs take medication, which wasn't an issue - and one of them is geriatric - blind, deaf and with vertigo. Jacob handled him better than I ever have. While I was gone, I got lots of pictures and videos, texts about the fun they were having - and unexpectedly, an interest in how I was doing. The texts/messages were just so, so heartfelt and special. I was gone for two days, and honestly, my dogs wanted to stay with him, I think. Finally, true story - before we decided to hire him, Jacob asked if my kids and I wanted to come over for a "meet and greet." We did, and obviously, decided he was perfect. We left feeling secure in our decision. As we were getting in the car, a couple with an older son who were walking their large dog across the street spoke to us. The woman said, "Is Jacob going to watch your dogs?" I told her that he was. She said, "they're very lucky. He's a hidden treasure." Selfishly, I want him to remain hidden. But he deserves to be found by as many people as possible. I can't thank him enough.

Kelsey is warm, friendly and welcoming to us and our pups. She kept us well informed with updates and pictures. It is clear that our dogs were happy and felt safe with her. We will not hesitate to book with her again.

Super friendly and takes great time with every dog she watches. Lots of outdoor time for my dog and he got to enjoy spending time with other dogs.

Tommy and Julie took care of our 2 dogs for an extended stay and we could not be happier with the entire experience! They took excellent care of our dogs and took the time to send us daily updates and pictures. Our dogs came back healthy and happy and we will absolutely book with Tommy and Julie again. 5 stars!!!

Elisa went above and beyond caring for Sparky. She was concerned that Sparky wasn’t eating enough, so she even cooked chicken for her. Elisa sent photos and updates throughout Sparky’s stay. We know Sparky was given special TLC and will definitely use Elisa again. We’re so glad we found her on this site!

Wow…. We can’t say enough about Kathleen she was fabulous. We even got some amazing photography of our fur babies. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you so much for everything.

Chisato was very proactive and reassuring with her daily videos and pictures of Grayson. She communicated very well and Grayson seemed to fit in just fine with her. I would definitely use her services again.

Truly amazing! I was constantly receiving text and pictures about my Joy I am very happy with how she was treated. This was my first time leaving my puppy, and I felt very comfortable knowing my joy was safe and taken care of very well, I would definitely recommend.

Our eleven year old girl received great TLC while w Cassandra! She sent updates and pictures at all the right times. She helped us in an extreme pinch. We were so grateful for all that she did. We look forward to seeing her again!

GREAT first Rover experience. I was SO nervous leaving my one year old 4lb pup with “strangers” but I felt a good connection with them from the start. I just get a sense they are truly good people. I went over to their beautiful home for the meet and greet and as I think back… I probably stayed too long! But Anays and Frank were so kind and spent the time listening to me about my dog Snooper and observing snooper. So I felt good about it. The booking was for a couple weeks later but when we arrived, they recalled little details and listened to all I shared. They were great sending pictures and updates throughout the time I was away. I truly appreciated that it was important to them to follow routines my dog was accustomed to. I think Snooper was very comfortable and very well cared for while at their home. I also appreciated that they had all his “stuff” (I probably brought over too much) all neatly packed up and ready when I arrived to pick him up. The only downside is their schedules have changed and snooper cant go back to them soon! They really were a good match for us! If you have a chance to have them care for your pet… you will be fortunate. Thanks A&F!!! Snooper is asking about you already!

As a first time user, I was a little nervous but I hit the Rover jackpot when I found Mary & Norm! They are wonderful people and took amazing care of Tink! The daily updates and pics were so appreciated and showed how much fun Tink was having. She can’t wait to visit them again!

Jennifer was an absolute sweet heart. She watched my dog Blue for 3 weeks and he was absolutely happy. She kept me up to date every day he was with her. Jennifer's family was loving and welcoming of my fur baby! Will definitely be booking with her again! Thanks so much
