House Sitting in Sandwich

Anja and Josh stayed at our home and watched our 2 young and very active golden retrievers. They were AMAZING! They sent lots of pics and updates. They took our very active puppies on lots of walks and clearly gave them lots of love and attention. When we returned from our vacation our pups were excited to see us, but we could tell they missed Anja and Josh, as they kept sniffing around looking for them, haha!! I am so relieved to have found such a wonderful couple to watch our pups. I can enjoy time away with my family now knowing they are very well taken care of, as if they were their own pups. We have already booked Anja and Josh for our Spring Vacation and I am sure we will be requesting their services this winter for another little getaway or day trips to the city. This was the first time we had a dog sitter and the first time using rover. Sierra did an excellent job dealing with the dogs while we were on vacation. They did not make it easy on her but she handled it well and we appreciated all her hard work.

This was the first time that I left my two 11 year old dogs with anyone who wasn’t friend or family. I was terrified at the prospect of leaving them with someone who wouldn’t be right for us. But Ace turned out to be perfect for us. He was prompt and timely and communicative and left my home as clean and nice as he found it. He did everything possible to get one of dogs to eat properly - but my dog is a bit of a diva! Ace deserves 10 stars in my book.

Brandon was an excellent sitter and we are so appreciative of how well he took care of our pup. Rhaegar liked him instantly, we could tell during the meet and greet that they would both get along so well and that Rhaegar would feel comfortable and content with Brandon in our home. Brandon updated us daily and whenever we would reach out to check in, he followed our guide/care instructions, and left our home just as he found it. We will absolutely book Brandon again and would recommend him to anyone.

Bingo loved Kimberly. I could tell he really enjoyed the large area to run and loved her other animals. I was worried he wouldn't want to come home.

My finance and I had an unexpected schedule change and we’re going g to have to leave our dog home by himself for much longer than we’d like until we found Claire. She was so wonderful with Bruno and treated him like her own. I was able to relax knowing Bruno was in great hands

Cassidy was wonderful. She sent us great updates and pictures everyday. We have an anxious guy and he was so calm and happy when we returned. Our house was so clean too. She did such a great job. We are so lucky to have found Cassidy.

We were very happy with Morgan! Our dog wasn’t feeling well and Morgan was very patient with her. I also forgot to give my one cat his medication before I left and Morgan gave it to him without any problems. She was professional and she communicated very well with frequent pictures and messages. We will definitely use Morgan again!

Leo is the best. My dog Griffey loved him and I felt utterly comfortable and confident leaving her in his care. He was so kind and thorough about instructions and preferences. The perfect houseguest and ideal dogsitter. 5 stars isn't enough-he's a gem. (I'm glad I already have him booked for Christmas!)

Grace was amazing - she responded really quickly to a situation where I had to unexpectedly leave my dog (who was also experiencing some GI distress) and did an incredible job taking care of her. I’m really grateful that Grace was so on top of everything and I know Hazel is looking forward to next time :)
