Cat Sitting in Waynesville

We are so happy when Georgia checks-in on our cats when we are away. She is so dependable and communicates updates and photos with every visit. We can enjoy our travels knowing our pets are in capable hands. Thanks Georgia!

MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.

Ashley was wonderful! Our cat needs medication so we can’t just leave him for a weekend anymore. She gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our boy was well taken care of and happy when we got home. We will be repeat clients for sure!

We booked Ben for 2 weeks and when we came back our pets (2 cats) and our house were in perfect condition, just like we left them. They were in perfect health and had no behavioral issues. We were nervous of course but with Ben we had nothing to be worried about. He is very responsive and courteous to texts and questions. Will hire again and again!

I boarded my kitten with Julie for a week and kitty had a wonderful time! I would not hesitate to recommend Julie. She is super responsive and just wonderful to deal with.

This was our first extended trip where we had someone outside of our family watch our cats and Heather took great care of them. She kept me updated each visit and let me know how everyone was doing. We will definitely use her again in the future.
