Dog Boarding in Hardscrabble

My puppy stayed with Jennifer for 4 days while I was on vacation. He had so much fun playing with her dogs. Jennifer was very accommodating as I had booked her last minute on short notice, and is great at keeping you updated. I highly recommend!

Taylor and Kevin P were Very friendly and confident. They put me at ease when dropping off my husky with epilepsy. Our dog Beau was a happy boy when he left.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear Oakley was in loving hands. Michelle went above and beyond, sharing lots of photos—some were professional-grade!—which kept me at ease throughout his stay. Oakley had a blast exploring her property and playing with her kids, who kept him happily occupied. Michelle's attention to detail was remarkable; she even purchased extra meal toppers for Oakley when I realized I hadn't brought enough. Her dedication and genuine care made all the difference. If you're looking for a trustworthy and caring place for your furry friend, I highly recommend Michelle. Oakley and I couldn't be happier!

Christina is a wonderful pet sitter Cheeky, my Havanese!! Christina and her family took wonderful care of Cheeky and gave her lots of love and attention. Cheeky was so relaxed when I picked her up, and I knew she had been very well cared for! Thank you Christina!!

I cannot say enough good things about Julie and her family! From the very start, communication was clear and timely. Julie went above and beyond to accommodate my chaotic travel plans, which changed many times. Despite the unexpected changes, she remained flexible and even went the extra mile by dropping my pets off at my sister’s house. The care provided was top-notch. Julie and her family showered my pets with plenty of love and attention, making sure they were comfortable and happy throughout their stay. I felt at ease knowing my pets were in such capable and caring hands. I highly recommend Julie to anyone in need of a reliable and compassionate pet boarder!

Amazing job! My dogs can be a handful and have been worn out since getting them back! Watched over the holidays for us while visiting family and was nice receiving picture updates everyday on our pups! Will be booking again!

I won’t trust anyone else to watch Gizmo when I’m out of town. I know he’s well taken care of and treated like a member of Sylvia’s family. He always looks like he has fun while he’s there. I appreciate the photos and updates.

First time using Rover and was absolutely thrilled with Jennifer and our overall experience!! Jennifer was responsive, communicative and kind. It’s obvious she has a huge heart for animals and treats her guests just as her own. She sent messages and pictures during our dogs stay and couldn’t have been easier to talk with. I cannot recommend her enough!!

Our dog had a great time and was well-cared for. We really appreciated the proactive communication and the care Emily and her family gave to our puppy!

Gilda was fantastic with my little nervous doggo. She has a quiet home, calm demeanor, and lots of patience! She sent pictures and updates every couple of days. Would 100% use her again!

Charlie had a great time, as always, with Paige and her family and their pups 😃 Very communicative and attentive. He’ll be back!

Ellie is a very sweet individual and dog lover. It's always a little frightening to drop off your dog off with someone new, but Ellie took away all of our anxiety after a meet and greet. Our girl, Ziva, enjoyed her overnight stay at Ellie's house and she became close friends with Ellie's collie, Red. Ellie texted us pictures which was much appreciated. We hope she will be available the next time we have to be out of town.

Crystal kept us well informed about our dog and his stay with her and her family. She even helped us out since we forgot his food bowls. I would highly recommend Crystal and she will be our first reach out in the future!

We can’t say enough good things about Kailly!! She loved on our baby Bella as much as we do! She did a fantastic job of keeping us updated, sending pictures and making sure Bella had the level of care she needs. Bella was happy to see us but I think she wouldn’t have minded staying a bit longer with Kailly!!

Shyann was awesome, we couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she gave our Lexi! Before finding Shyann on Rover, we would board Lexi at a kennel. She would be so hyper when we picked her up and at home she would always whine and act restless for at least a day or two before she was back to acting like herself! But when we picked her up from Shyann, she was excited but not hyper and that evening at home she was calm, relaxed and acting like our Lexi! Thank you Shyann, we’re so glad we found you❤️

Allison is our favorite sitter for Aurora - she takes such good care of Aurora, Aurora loves playing with Clark, and Allison is so easy to coordinate with.

Monika clearly loves dogs. She stayed home with my two pups the whole weekend that they stayed with her. She was very good about familiarizing herself with their routines, food requirements, potty requirements, etc. before the boarding. I received several photo updates while they were with her and they clearly enjoyed themselves out in her yard and lounging with her on her comfy couches. I highly recommend Monika for your dog boarding needs! Thank you!

We only travel without our dogs about once a year, but I've always hated leaving them in the kennel. They come back exhausted, eyes bloodshot, clearly haven't slept. And my little one, Molly, is usually hoarse from barking. Molly has also gotten more and more nervous over the years, so we knew that we couldn't leave her in a kennel during our recent week-long trip. Marietta to the rescue! I could not be happier with how things turned out. She clearly took such good care of our two dogs. They had a soft bed to sleep on, all they toys the could want, and they had three other dogs to play with. Marietta sent daily updates with lots of pictures and was super flexible with drop off and pick up times. The pups came back happy and very well-cared for. Without a doubt we will be booking Marietta next time we have to leave our dogs behind!
