Dog Boarding in Heltonville

Zoe is a rare and essential resource for anyone with a high-energy, excitable dog. She took care of my border collie at the last minute over Christmas (my family's dog has become more protective and less dog-tolerant after the addition of a new baby to the family), and knows exactly how to read and work with an active dog. I am always concerned that someone could fall for the border collie hype and exercise him more when he actually is just too excited and needs help calming down. I have complete confidence that Zoe could handle any type of dog temperament, Finn had a fabulous time and was well looked after. We're lucky to have someone like Zoe on Rover.

Tony & Katrina were great and Teddy enjoyed his time with them. They took Teddy on walks and to the dog park everyday while he was with them. They sent us pictures of Teddy everyday and were responsive if we had any questions. Teddy loved his time with Pesto and he can’t wait to meet Pesto at the dog park again! We would recommend Tony & Katrina for anyone looking for their dog to be pampered and to have a great time.

Our English bulldog Brax enjoyed his week stay with Mary Jane and came home happy and healthy. We received many pictures of him and messages throughout the stay so we felt comfortable with how he was doing and could enjoy our vacation a bit more. We recommend!

Mary and Michael are fantastic dog parents themselves and it shows in their dog sitting! Our boys had a great time, and we received constant updates with playtime photos. We trust them 1000% and highly recommend them for all your doggy-care needs!

Barlow spent a week with Celsei and he had a great time! She communicated and sent us photos daily! We had such peace of mind! We are so grateful for Celsei!

Lainey and Stevie had a great time with Sam while we were out of town for a night. He was very responsive and sent us several pics and videos so we could see them playing. Would definitely recommend!

We had another sitter booked; our pet and everything were packed in the car, ready to meet the sitter & leave for our trip; then the sitter ended up being a no-show. Thankfully, Nikole replied to my SOS on Rover! We were able to take our precious Princess Pickles to Nikole's right away. She & her spouse were incredible! They listened to our concerns, and were very understanding and supportive. They took excellent care of our baby girl. Nikole knew we were anxious and apprehensive, and sent daily pics and videos. Nikole and her family gave Pickles time and space to get used to her new surroundings, and helped the process by brushing her and giving her treats (her favorite things!). In the past, after being boarded with other sitters, Pickles got sick, was extremely clingy, had nightmares, etc. None of these things happened after her time with Nikole! It was an easy, seamless transition. We are SO grateful and thankful for Nikole and her family! She's the only sitter for us from now on. We can't recommend her enough. (Just don't bombard her with bookings so she's not available when we need her. 😉)

Colleen was absolutely fantastic! I needed a last-minute sitter for my dog, and she was on it! We started with a meet and greet where she welcomed my dog into her home to see how she would do; she did great :)! Colleen was extremely flexible and kept me in the loop on my dog’s daily walks, playtime, and nap times. She sent me tons of videos and pictures and was always very quick to respond. I recommend Colleen for all your dogs and will be recommending her to all my friends as well!

Fantastic sitter!!! She took excellent care of our boy for the weekend and we really appreciate it. Sent updates that were actually informative as to what he was up to. Can’t say enough. Thank you so much!

Mason was great with our dogs and we appreciated his flexibility when our return flight got delayed. Dogs came home happy! Highly recommend him

Kelly was amazing! She kept me updated the entire time on my busy basset hound Harper! My Harper is 1 and very busy and nosey and also has anxiety so with that she can’t go in a crate and that was completely fine as Kelly took her in still and loved her like her own! I will definitely be using her again! As soon as I got Harper back home she fell right asleep as she was so tired from playing! Couldn’t thank Kelly enough for watching my sweet girl!

Savannah was amazing with Charlie! She sent updates and responded fast when I had questions or concerns about Charlie’s stay. If you have an older dog that enjoys being around other dogs, Savannah is great! Charlie got along great with her 2 dogs and it seemed like Charlie really had a great time. I will be using Savannah again 10000%!

Trista was amazing with our two English Springer Spaniels. It was just like having them at home while we were on vacation. She cared for them just like her own and gave us the peace of mind leaving our fur babies. She has a great place for them to run and play and lets them be part of her family. It was so wonderful not having to put them where I know they will be crated the majority of the time. She took them for walks every day and they ran and played on her property. She sent updated and pics daily while we were away. We are definite repeat customers.

Jenny and Freddie are amazing! They really cared about Chubby and took her care so well. Chubby even made a friend and loved her “special spot” to enjoy the wonderful scene outside the window. Definitely will ask for their help next time!

Ruby absolutely loves going to Derek’s and gets very excited when she knows that she is going there. I love knowing that she’s happy and well cared for. Derek sends lots of pictures and I can see that she’s having a ball!

Most amazing individual to watch your fur baby! She took such great care of my boy, was so interactive, sent text updates and photos, and loved him just as I do. Plus her sweet Chesney is such a loving pup! Will 100% reach out again in the future if I need someone to watch my dog. She truly has such a love for animals and I felt so comfortable with her watching my pup!
